Mixed reviews here. I ll break it down. The decor and ambiance looks appealing with its Mexican theme. The place is very large and can accommodate large parties indoors and outdoors. The service? We had very little wait time before getting seated, considering we came during the busy Sunday brunch time. The server took our order in an timely manner. The food It took a very long time to arrive. The portion sizes were large and looked appetizing. Those dishes from other customers around us did too. The taste however, is a different story. The menudo was not good at all. The migas did taste good. My omelette was okay. Will we come back? Perhaps after exhausting all the other local restaurant choices. This won t be our first choice. Vegetarian options: My omelette was vegetarian style. Parking: Located in a strip mall, plenty of parking available Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious front foyer entrance.

We have come to this location many times over the years but will probably not be going back again. I ordered the menudo and while I m eating I spoon up a big hard piece of plastic. I asked the waitress twice to get a manager to explain what was in my food and no one ever came. I had to call one over myself only for him to just say sorry and asked if I wanted more?? I was kind of confused as to why I would want more of something that had plastic in it but instead of not charging me for it he just walked off to the kitchen. I could have choked on this while I was eating! I really think this could have been handled a lot better and why would you still charge a customer for food that had trash in it?? Horrible experience!

This is the most pathetic Mexican food in the entire state of Texas. Instead of a giving me my correct meal, they gave me hard tacos.. my meal was a 20$ combo plate. The food was cold and soggy. They wouldnt even refund or correct my meal. DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE!!!

The food at any of the eight Garcia locations is excellent! We usually go to the one in Buda, Texas, but it was closed. We no longer live in the area, so anytime were passing through on a trip, we make it a point to stop. We have eaten at the one in Kyle several times and it is always excellent. Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair ramp is that the opposite end of the Strip Center.

This location is horrible, for one, its filthy, especially the bathrooms, and the service is no bueno! My husband and I visited today, Sunday. We place our order and waited for over 45 minutes, yet still no food. We noticed the tables to the left and right of us got their orders. We flag down our waitress and asked her what was taking so long, we understand yall are busy but the people next to us both sat down after us and both have received their orders. We were told the reason was because they ran out of shrimp? But we were never informed of that, our waitress never came out to apologize for the long wait. Nothing! We had to ask. At this point we just want to leave after eating nothing but chips n salsa, so we get the manager, and he didnt seem to care at all. He told our waitress, just charge them what they had and he walked away! No apology whatsoever! Horrible customer service. Its not often we visit, i was just reminded why we dont. 2

Waited 45min for my tacos and plate to go. I didnt get any napkins, or cutlery. My food was bland, the tacos were so little and hardly any egg. But when you pay to go, it has a 20% tip to click on. Went tip if they forgot to add what you need. Food

I just bought some chicken caldo to go. I needed it because Ive been under the weather. Got home and found a large order of it packed into a smaller plastic container. The food is always good here, and its been one of my favourite local Mexican restaurants. Its always seemed a little more expensive than average, but I was OK with that given the quality; however on my most recent visit I was told that they now charge $2.49 to substitute charro beans for the standard refried. Thats a step too far for me, Im afraid, so it looks like being my last visit here.

The server was not attentive to most of his clients. He mainly only concentrated on one table. We were a party of 8. Everyone drinks were empty for well over 20 minutes, but the other table drinks never saw empty. He had 4 tables, which included ours, and 3 tables were almost completely ignored for the other table.

My husband and I went there today. The atmosphere was a comfortable Tex-Mex style. Staff was friendly and polite. I got the chalupa plate, my husband got menudo. He said hes had better. The menudo was mostly liquid and a little amount of meat. The chalupa was good, but not the best Ive had. I had a problem - actually more like an observation that I wanted to make the manager aware of after our lunch today. But after waiting about 20 minutes - with several assurances from the waitress that the mgr was coming- he never did - so we finally just left. They will now never know and will never correct the problem (Im sure of it) and continue to lose my business as I will never go anywhere other than TEXICAN Mexican Restaurant when we are in the area and hungry for Really Good - actually GREAT Mexican food. Just the chips alone are 10x better at Texican! To the owner: this post would Never have been written if your manager had simply came over to discuss the issue - so now you can both deal with it.

The best parts of Casa Garcia was the fresh tortillas and the michelada. The Garcia platter had 4 oz of beef with a pound of onions. The beans mustve been some cheap can version of charro beans. The atmosphere was cool tho. Mariachis played all evening and they were not obnoxiously loud.
