I requested to speak with the manager s boss today who stated he was not able to provide me with their information but I could go on the website. So, I asked for even an email address to reach out to someone. During my experience, Lu or Luis, the manager at the Kyle location made a heated situation even worse and after waiting 10 minutes his boss contact email, a disgruntled employee (Alden?) slammed the drive thru window in my face stating there was no pen for Lu to give me the email address. Lu, the manager offered a coupon off my next visit after I let him know my order was incorrect. Much more happened during this experience but this was the icing. Please support other locations as they are privately owned with employees who care and value someone spending $10+ on a smoothie. I highly suggest investing in a customer training program for your employees.

Not only was the service slow, but my smoothie was wrong. I could tell as soon as he brought it out because it was way too light. It basically tastes like ice, artificial sweetener, with a hint of strawberry. I m trying to drink it since I paid for it, but it s been 3 hours and I m not even halfway done. I m posting a pic of what I should have gotten, and what I actually got. I don t recommend going in the morning, or through the drive through.

I am a smoothie king girlie! I love SK. This location has a lot of young workers and they do a fantastic job! I have had an issue where I placed an order on the app and I added toppings to my açaí bowl and they made the bowl without the extra toppings but they will rectify any issue you have. Kindness goes a long way. The photos were taken after a few bites.

This had been my go to smoothie place when the mom and pop store I normally go to is closed. I wanted a healthy alternative and decided to go through the drive through. I did notice they had 3 cars in line. I get behind one guy and wait. I finally get to the speaker. The young kid working never comes on and says Welcome to Smoothie King or Welcome to Smoothie King, I will be with you in one minute. After over 10 minutes at the speaker and the car in front of me has moved up, I say Hello? The kid comes on and goes, Yeah, I will be right with you. He disappears and I wait another 10 minutes at the speaker without a peep. By this time, there are 3 more cars behind me that are waiting. I did notice one guy finally gets tired and leaves. I had waited over 25 minutes in the line all together, thinking that I would have ordered and had my shake and be on my way. I end up leaving empty handed. I am glad this place does not hand you the credit card machine anymore and ask if you want a tip. I do not need to be tip-shamed if I decide not to tip you because your service is lousy. The service can be hit or miss at this place. Sometimes you are in and out in less than 5 minutes. Other times, you are losing business when people leave the line like I did as the guy behind me did. I am not sure what happened with the quality of service at this place; but, it has gone WAY downhill. This place needs to pick it up, or I am going to have to start taking my business elsewhere. especially since their location is a pain to get to on the East side of Kyle.

Placed an order online and when I arrived the manager said she couldn t make my order because she didn t know how. So I asked for a refund and she said she couldn t give me one. So I asked for a drink of the equivalent price and she said no. She said I would have to call to get it fixed so I asked who to call or what number and she shrugged her shoulders and said I don t know. That s the most ridiculous amount of ineptitude I ve ever experienced. They took my money and refused to refund or give me a product I paid for. Pathetic

At 5:18pm on a Saturday, this place needs more employees in it. Theres a flustered, short haired lady running around, profusely apologizing to customers, and a second guy cranking out smoothies as fast as they can with a drive thru and inside area open. Management needs to better support this team or team needs to recognize their ability to serve by closing the inside and make everyone go through drive through to help streamline the influx. I KNOW NOTHING. Just saying. Help yourselves too.

Placed an order through the app for delivery. Typically it goes to San Marcos location but this time it went to Kyle Parkway. It sent me Uber tracking and sent a driver there. When she arrived she called me and said they didn t have the order but she would talk to the manager. Next thing I know it gets canceled. I still got charged all $23.82 after receiving nothing. Filled out the form they attach to all these bad reviews (please do not reply with that. Reply to my already submitted one). When you call the phone number for this location listed on google, the app, and the Uber order text it goes straight to voicemail for Treasure the office administrator she says call an 804 number for customer support. It went straight to holding music. After 8 minutes I hung up. So called back and left a voicemail for Treasure. If I don t get a call back a refund within 24 hours they are never seeing me in any location again. If I do receive the basic low level customer service I am asking for they will just never see me at this location again. Last time pick up order was 20 minutes past due time. Time before that smoothie measurements seemed off and when I went inside a nice girl did remake it for me but her coworker was sitting on the counter. Butts do not belong where food is prepared. Do better smoothie king and give me a refund for the order I never received.

My husband just came from buying a Mango smoothie and a Acai Bowl 10/07/2023 at 5:30pm when he sat down to eat it after a couple of bites a spring came out and injured him by poking him in his mouth. We have been calling and no answer before someone else gets hurts or swallow a piece of metal. Strawberry lemon twist was super watery and only tasted like lemon. And handed to me with a half broken lid. Banana boat + strawberry was originally made with no strawberries, handed to me entered my car, then I asked why there was no strawberries, drink was taken back in and dumped back into the blender with strawberries, I can barely taste any.

I ordered a smoothie today and the lady handed it to me with a hole in the bottom of my cup. The smoothie got all over me and my car interior (which now smells like spoiled milk). To make matters worse, when I went back through the drive thru and explained what happened, rather than apologizing for covering me in a smoothie, they asked how would you like me to fix that? . I honestly wouldn t have been so upset if they d only taken responsibility. I understand she probably didn t intentionally hand me a broken cup, however paying attention to product quality should be a given.

On 2/15: I went through the drive thru in Kyle & ordered 4 smoothies, 2 being the same. Your employee Marissa got 3 out of 4 right. Mind you 2 were the same in which is the ones she was not able to comprehend. Watching her finally make the last one she was talking to a guy working with her shaking her head and throwing the blender lid not once but twice. I specifically asked for an angel food cake smoothie add cocoa and peanut butter with NO banana & this may have gotten her upset but I told her 5 times there are 2 of them the same just like I just ordered. Finally when I tried to pay her for the one of them she handed it to me and closed the window. So. Even though she gave me 4 straws and only charged me for 3 she rudely didn t even want to discuss the additional cost for the 4th one she missed and so I drove away. I know it s been a week or longer since I have gone there but I did want to make a review so you know about Marissa C and her unfriendly self. Whoever is running this location needs to learn how to efficiently train and staff their employees in order to effectively manage a food service business. Ps. The smoothies are ok. The service is awful. It seems like every time we come here there are only two people working and the place is literally EMPTY. Yet for some reason it always takes at least 20 minutes for a smoothie. It s absurd having to wait and watch as one person makes a smoothie one by one. We won t be coming back. Craving something healthy and sweet to snack on. Came inside to order. Ordered a simple bowl (hi five )and kids (lil Angel) smoothie. It was upsetting that I had to ask for toilet paper while using the bathroom. No paper towels to dry hands with. Waited at a table that was wiped down. Can definitely tell they don t clean the towels that they wipe the table with. The table was super sticky, unsanitary. It took 15 minutes just to get my child s smoothie and then I never got my bowl. I had to leave and I had already waited over 20 minutes. Got my refund and left.

I order from Smoothie King about 4 times a week. Usually I have no problems but this location gave me two smoothies that looked alike (they re both pink) and didn t bother to label either of them. Imagine being allergic to bananas and not know banana is in my smoothie bc no one bothered to label which was which. Now I can t drink or taste either. Money and points down the drain.

A lot of people don t understand that a lot of these places have staff comprised of teens and young adult s running the store by themselves. 1st gift cards don t allow you to get your rewards at the same time when using online app. 2nd had to go inside and then order and when I got my order my smoothie was all over the lid she never bothered to clean it nor say thank you have a good day. Then the taste was horrible and left a nasty aftertaste and thus separation was 10 min after just sitting. Today as a member and I order from Kyle all the time was the worst experience ever!

I arrived at the drive thru speaker box around 5:15 to order. There were about 3 cars ahead of me. It took 15 minutes just to get to the window. I figured they were very busy so I didnt mind. I got to the window around 5:30 the girl at the window gave me my total and I paid. A few minutes passed and I see her grab a drink carrier and put drinks and straws in there and walk to the back. I had assumed that it was my order. She never came back to the front. After waiting about 10 minutes another girl came to the window asking if I had paid already. I told her yes. She asked me what my order was I gave her all the info. After a few more minutes I knocked on the window and said Im sorry but I have to go I have a online class starting in 15 minutes, I need to get home. Please refund my card. She said okay one second. She opens the window to tell me she couldnt find my order to refund me.... Is this a joke? Seriously. She stated she just clocked in and the girl who was working the drive thru left, she went to the back to look for her but she was gone. I told her its okay I needed to leave. I left with nothing. I paid $15 which I later find out I paid for someone elses order after reading the receipt the girl had given me!!! I couldnt believe what just happened. I will never visit this location again. I pretty much paid for 45 minutes of my time sitting in their drive thru only to receive nothing. Its not even worth my time to drive back and explain this situation all over again. Stay away spend your money elsewhere. Quick question though. Is there anyone over 18 working at this place? Even a manager.? I was offered nothing the poor girl was overwhelmed and didnt know what to do. Not to mention the full line they had behind me.

We went in yesterday for the first time ever at a Smoothie King. Our smoothies were made good and were correct. It was a nice atmosphere, we had just gotten off of work so we sat as a family and talked a bit. Immediately, they started cleaning up like it was closing time. Now online and outside on the door it says the store closes at 9pm. We got there at 7:30. We got up to leave about 8:05 cause my husband said well I guess they close at 8 not 9 . As we got up to leave, I turned back and one of the young ladies behind the counter celebrated like that was her goal for us to leave. Then she came around behind us, locked the door and gave a dirty look. For our first visit, it was good up until that happened. Unfortunately though, if that s the kind of customer service that is given then it will be our last time.

I stop by this store pretty often on my way back to Austin. I have always had great service and smoothies even if they are super busy. I cant help but notice that some of the customers are extremely rude to the staff. I would like to point out that these kids work very hard. For some of them it is their first job or they are attending school. In my experience they do what they can to accommodate me despite the struggles that Covid has placed on us all.

My son and I were in Kyle and ordered smoothies on the app. We went to pick them up and they werent ready. Tried several times to ask the workers if they had an order, but they never seemed to hear us (had earbuds in, i believe)) and never seemed to notice they had a guest standing there waiting. Finally (10 minutes after the smoothies were supposed to be ready) they started working on them. They didnt blend them well and apparently forgot some of the ingredients. My sons was very watered down and mine (and a carrot kale dream which ive gotten at several locations and love) was nasty! Chunks of kale, not sweet at all and a bad aftertaste. Just tasted like watered down kale, not anything like it normally tastes. We were very disappointed. What a waste of time and money!

Came to this smoothie king, which is not my usual store I go to, but when I went o got my regular that I always get at my other store and when I got it, it was the nastiest thing ever! The employee 1) did not finish blending it right and 2) it was not a natural sweet flavor, I m pretty sure she forgot the banana you re supposed to put it, which now makes sense as to why it was gross and bland. Never coming to this one again. I ve never had a problem with smoothie king before.

Showed up before 9pm today and they were already closed. Can you not advertise that you close at 9pm and to advertise that they close whenever they want to. I drove out of my way to get there before closing time. Very disappointed. Also I went by randomly one day during daytime and they were closed as well. Very inconvenient

We showed up 15 minutes before the store closed on Tuesday June 1, 2021 and the store had already closed up. we waited at the window and called them and watched them run to the phone and hang it up on us. we just wanted a smoothie :(

My favorite place to go in Kyle for a quick meal is Smoothie King. Due to the Pandemic, their drive through seems busier but their smoothies are excellent, service is friendly and they take my safety seriously (masks). My favorite is strawberry/blueberry gladiator but recently I started on their Berry Keto.

PLEASE MAKE EMPLOYEES WEAR A MASK WHEN MAKING SMOOTHIES!! The young man working there wasn t !! I have been coming to this location since it opened and have been more than understanding with the mistakes by just not saying anything about all the mistakes that seem to happen ; Because I love the idea of a smoothie place in Kyle, but when mistakes are happening with every order , enough is enough! The turnover at this place is high . They are always hiring new staff , and from the looks of it not properly trained , but the staff seems nice . Not sure why there is a sign that says customers must wear mask during the drive through yet the young male employee WAS NOT wearing a mask when I drove up and he was making the smoothie. I love smoothies in general but NOT sure if I can stand this location any longer . There s been things from whole chunks of ice in the smoothie , only filling the cup 3/4 of the way with a runny liquid juice , which looked like someone drank out of it and left it out To melt , when that s supposed to be a cold, non runny , smoothie . I am getting really tired of it and feel like I am not getting what I paid for because of how OFTEN it happens . I understand that most staff seems to Be very young, like 16-19 it looks like , but that s no excuse . I blame management . Please train them better. I tried to have them re make my 7$ small smoothie for me because it was almost like room temperature liquid , but they made it wrong again and the manager Justin got super defensive about it . He said it was my fault They made the remake wrong , saying I forgot to mention the additive And was extremely rude over a small 20 oz smoothie , For no reason . Not that big of a deal to get mad at a customer over. It s. It like it was my fault . I was ,being extremely kind then he just gives me so much attitude , To a customer who comes in often Or some weeks daily to spend money . not good professionalism or how a leader should act . . I am not buying dollar menu burgers And shouldn t get something sloppy . Even after that incident I went back there and they still messed up the smoothie half the time ! It s a hit or miss Or there is just discrepancies when you re order the same smoothie , different tastes or consistency . I never had this much issues in south Austin location . Also the line can be ridiculous at times . They should utilize the parking spots, be like other restaurants during this time , and maybe bring out the smoothies to the car In parking spot instead of making cars wait in the Slow line because they will just take off, like they have been doing , And you will lose business . I myself have seen the line long and slow looking and won t even bother . Maybe staff would also feel Less rushed and maybe make proper , unsloppy smoothies if things would flow better and training is better . I do hope this place gets better because it is convenient for me , but I do hate paying 7, 8 or 9 $ for a sloppy , melted liquid smoothie .

Came this morning to get a smoothie at 9am when they posted they open and nobody was there. Went to the website and it says they have been temporarily closed all week, I was just there yesterday. Great smoothies, but they need to get it together and have a plan and hire reliable and responsible adults. It s your reputation on the line.

I have been a smoothie king fan for years. I am becoming less of one as their prices continue to creep up. I mean almost 8 dollars for a large smoothie is a little crazy. I also used to like their green tea smoothies. However in the past year the amount of tea used has been decreased and the flavor has also gone downhill. I will drink some of the other smoothie like the turf and surf ones. I do say give them a try.

This is my go-to place when I want to fuel up with a smoothie! They have a variety of smoothies to choose from and a lot of additional options to give your smoothie an extra boost! They always provide excellent service and make the smoothies FAST! They also have a drive-thru behind the building. I also utilize their app to build up reward points for discounts and you can even setup your credit card to automatically pay when you use the app when you order. The only reason that I didnt get them 5 stars is that I dont think that its appropriate to ask if you want to leave a tip with your order. On some level, I agree with the person who wrote about their tipping experience. Having a tip jar at the window is fine, but Id really not like to be asked if Id like to leave a tip, especially if I dont even know who is making my smoothie. Other than that, Smoothie King is still great in my books!

If I could I would give no star and just a review. There has been several days in the last few weeks that I go in the morning after 8AM and this place is still closed. On another occasion I went at 8:50PM and the drive-thru worker told me I can t take your order because we re closing in two minutes . Last I saw on the website it says it closes at 9PM but I guess they close early to leave right at 9PM. Personally I think they should be taking orders till 9 but they may be more concerned about leaving right at 9. I workout next door at OT so it s convenient to want to get a smoothie after. It just sucks when they open late and close early, sounds like a management problem.

Great selection of smoothies, perfect place to drop by after a workout to get a delicious protein smoothie. My favorite is the strawberry peanut power plus. I didnt think strawberry and peanut went together, Smoothie King does a fantastic job making the flavors come together nicely, and I dont notice the protein blended in.

Im so happy that Smoothie King is in Kyle! Fast, refreshing and so good for you. Seems that the staff is still getting used to equipment and recipes, but I know that is related to recent opening. In an effort to cut calories, I always request that my smoothies be made with water instead of juice, and I appreciate that Smoothie King allows me to do that. Great product and great service, I will continue to keep coming back!

Waited 30 minutes for my drink sitting inside as 4 drive through orders got theirs even though they got there much later. Please train your people to prioritize service and possibly hire older and more mature employees that can work beer stress. These kids in here are bitting more than they can chew. I asked how long it was gonna be (after 30 Minh and just now they are making my order as y type this. Update: they gave me the wrong order!!!!! It s monday 9:06 am and I have been waiting for someone to show up so I can get a smoothie for the last 10 mins. I figured hey it s monday. They are late. The door shows they open at 7am. Two hours late. The store is losing money because you can t open up on time. Update: 02/07/2019. Haven t had issues anymore on the time. Smoothies are great. However, I agree with the other reviewer they ask for tips through the drive through on your credit card. I go about 3-4 times a week and this quickly adds up to my $6 smoothie. My visits are now not as frequent due to the constant requests for a tip.

Never had any issue with the speed of service. The employees are friendly and helpful. Smoothies are always good. However the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the post it notes all over the drive thru begging for tips. Do they not pay the team members? Ive never understood why someone would tip at a drive thru. I am usually a strong tipper in restaurants or delivery situations but I think its a little much to be requesting this from drive thru customers.

I wish I could give a 0 star rating, this is the worst smoothie king I ve ever been too. The drive thru was really slow it took 30 mins for only 2 smoothies. The employees don t wear hairnets, gloves and even wipe their face when making smoothies. I will not return and I don t recommend this place to anyone.
