I asked one of the associates for help. He told me the item I was looking for was most likely in the back of the store. I asked him if he could show me, he said he did not want to go all the way there. After 10 minutes, I somehow found where the item was only to discover that the item is not kept on the shelf and only kept in the back. I had to look for another person to get them to get the item out.

It was my first time in this store. I was returning items that I didn t use. As I m waiting in line an employee brings a family of 6 over to get in line in front of me. Didn t say anything to me, no excuse me ma am or explanation of what was going on. After I finally get to the register, the cashier rudely tells me if I need to make a return I have to go to the other line. So I had to get out of line and go wait in another line to make the return. I don t live in this area so I thought I would be able to just go in and make a simple return but these employees were very rude and unprofessional. I frequent hobby lobby a lot, never had a bad experience until today. Will definitely not return to this location.

I was so happy when I learned they were opening a Hobby Lobby less than a mile from me. Hobby Lobby is one of those places where I go to pick up a particular item and walk about with about 5 other items, too. The staff are helpful and there are almost enough of them. My only complaint (the missing star) is that the store is huge and a store map would be so convenient. Even having items in the app show which aisle theyre in would be great. Lowes app is so useful that way. I suspect they dont want to do that so that people like me who dont practically live there will have to roam through the store to find a certain thing when there isnt an associate handy to help. Otherwise, Im very happy with the cleanliness of the store, the variety of products, the quality of most of them and the prices.

I love the one star review someone left about constantly being late for work because theyre using too much time arguing about whats on sale.. 1. Ive never in my 25 years of shopping with Hobby Lobby experienced this issue to this degree. 2. Not everything is included in sale, such as yellow sticker items - they are marked lowest price to begin with and are excluded from promotion. 3. It is your responsibility to return to work on time. I cant even believe that youve returned late to work, on multiple occasions, because youre busy arguing at a craft store. Also, if you show up anywhere <5 minutes before closing, expect employees to be annoyed. I will run to Hobby Lobby right quick and be there for hours. You are not entitled to browse the aisles after closing because you werent aware of their hours prior to arrival. No, not everyone that works there is a hardcore crafter like me. Most of them are kids and they have absolutely no idea what Im talking about half the time. This is ok. I use Google for this reason. If you are a craft beginner, take a class online or with someone local, join a crafting facebook group, watch youtube, whatever. It isnt fair to badmouth these kids because they cant give you all the answers. Keep in mind, its a chain store. Its a newly opened location. Show them grace as they weed out poor employees and iron out kinks. Or yeah, go to Joannes and pay twice as much for someone to cut your fabric. Who cares. I love Hobby Lobby and Im so happy that I dont have to drive to San Marcos or Austin to get my craft on.

I was able to fit a USA Navy anchor. It was what I was looking for. In this store you can find many things at a good price I REPEAT at a good price to decorate your home, it has very beautiful and curious things. I recommend them

Nice, clean, and new store. I just dont get their website. I was looking for something, the website indicated it was in stock. I drove over and it was not in stock. Thay gave me a raincheck for the item so Ill get a call from them when it comes in. That works and I appreciate the effort of the manager taking the time to help me find that out.

Not a nice experience, the employees dont greet you or offer if you need help. And when putting merchandise away they just push past you. As nice as it is to have a hobby shop open and in kyle I would rather drive 15 to 20 mins to austin or san marcos and go to michaels.

Im sick and tired of having to constantly argue with employees about what is and isnt on sale! This issue has persisted since this store opened. Someone needs to teach employees how to read and decipher the weekly add or you need to dumb it down. One example, ALL items labeled paper studio seems to confuse them when right after you list examples of such items. Cashier argued that it was only PAPER things that were on sale when I had an embellishment. Or maybe they dont know what an embellishment is! I had to pull up the website just to show them and with spotty service, not always easy. I go during my lunch break to avoid after work traffic but its becoming an issue to clock in late from work because of the extra wasted time then what I saved. I never had these issues when going to SM 12 miles away! Worst HL so far. Im going to switch to Amazon. At least theyll bring my craft items to me.

The store was pretty clean. Although, I didnt see many employees. It was busy to check out but it wasnt a long wait. This location is brand new and is already very busy. Im sad about Hobby Lobby not having their coupons anymore. Sales are still decent.

I needed a skinny Christmas tree for my stairwell, and everything Id seen online I didnt like. I asked the lady if the one displayed was in stock, she wasnt sure but instead of disappearing like some places do, she found help from her manager and gave me a clear answer of how to get it at the register because it was in stock. So I left happy with my tree.

Cool stuff, some Texas items that I havent seen in other stores. Employees were polite. But for the life of me I cant understand the idea to block off every Christmas aisle, on a Saturday just a week or so prior to Christmas... employees with carts full of product rearranging the aisles. Rather silly.

Where do I start? The store manager is completely incapable of running that store and has no clue what she is doing. She kept blaming others for her mistakes, not calling me back, she lied about what the corporate office had told her, etc. I had dropped off a piece of art to be put on a frame, I was told this would take two weeks. After 2 weeks, i went to pick up my art. They told me the tool had not shown up yet, and they forgot to call me. They said they wanted two more weeks again. When i got there, they told me the tool just got in that morning, and it would be two weeks to one month longer to finish the painting.. When I asked for the manager, they told me they would get it done today. I told them not to rush, and if they needed a couple more days, it would be okay. They called me two hours later, saying it was ready - When I picked the painting up, it was crooked on the frame - I said something to them about it, they told me it was the art. I came home after, and tried to call the manager wouldnt call me. I then talked to corporate over the phone. Corporate told me it was her decision to an additional refund due to the time wasted and HAD to fix it, and it was not their decision but the manages - but regardless they had to fix tbe painting. When I asked the manager what she would do, she said it was a corporate decision. After all of this, she decided she wasnt gonna fix it. Thank God corporate customer service is amazing( Dana). They got a different store (San Marco) that was ran by a capable manager with capable staff that takes pride in the work they do for Hobbie Lobby to fix what she would not do or could not do right in the first place..

Its 8:04pm as Im writing this review. I walked in around 7:55 not knowing that were closing at 8pm. I walked up to an older gentleman who was working there and before I could even finish my Excuse me he said Nope! Were closed. and did the shoving motion with his hands as hes forcing me down the aisle. Needless to say Im in awe!! I literally only went there for one thing, tinsel. I understand you close at a certain time, but this guy didnt even give me a chance to finish 1 word before pushing me out the door. As I walked into the place I saw a lot of cute things for Christmas that I would love to come back for when I had more time, but this older guy with white/grey hair made me decide I will never come back to this place and spend my money. Its a shame since this place just opened. And as Im writing this review in the parking lot since Im so upset there have been quite a few people trying to come into the building so maybe it should be taken into consideration to change the store hours, especially around the holidays. Not that anything that comes out of your customers mouths matter.

Then moved people from 1 line to another, not to help us, because I ended up waiting longer. I spent 15 minutes following some kid around looking for something asking 3 other different employees. Who doesnt love a good craft store. They rotate their sale items giving you an extra 40%off so if what you want isnt on sale come back next week. The store is always well organized stocked.

Kinda negative first time experience to be honest. I went in knowing very little and only had a goal in mind. The staff were not helpful and acted like my questions and requests were an imposition on them. I had to ask three different associates for help and getting them to answer questions was like pulling teeth. They acted like I should already know the answers. The store was beautiful, but its probably best if you already know what you want when walk in the door.

Brandy new store! Tons of employees all over the place. Glad to have one in Kyle so we can do more right in town. Located next to a new Academy Sports, a Lowes Home Improvement store, near Walgreens, across the street from Walmart, and supported by lots of fast food joints.
