Wanted to try out this restaurant since we haven t been to it yet and off the bat the service when you walk in isn t very welcoming at all. The older lady that was in front didn t give eye contact and had a snarky like attitude like she didn t want to be there. We got told to pick where we wanted to sit so we sat in a booth. From there she took our drink orders and messed them up, how? I don t know. After that, we had another waitress and she was super nice. The food on the other hand wasn t good at all. Except for the loaded fries they had but that was an appetizer. Won t be eating here again, but hope anyone else has a better experience than we did.

Food was mediocre but have had much worse. Service was slow but not enough to be an issue. I would suggest providing more salsa upon arrival. Seems petty but it was served in 2 two ounce ramekins which is pretty small for a table for four. I will definitely go back so I can try other dishes. Overall, not bad but not spectacular. Its definitely worth noting that the breakfast tacos are amazing!! Highly recommend.

Wed love to love this place but weve stopped here 3 times and ordered drinks but they dont have a bartender so we have not been impressed. The food was fine, cool atmosphere but when I want Mexican food I want a good margarita too. I asked the staff when theyll have a bartender so we could plan to come back when they actually have a professional making the drinks and the staff said the owner hasnt hired a bartender. Seems poor sighted to me since it could be a fun place to stop for a drink but Ill probably just go somewhere with a bartender.

Updated Review I stopped in for breakfast one morning to give it a try, and I wasnt that impressed with the breakfast plate. The breakfast tacos I had were great, though! Zero compliants on that end. My service was ok, I did have to find my waitress for utensils. I saw some wall murals that I had not seen when I first visited that were really nice. I initially went through the drive-thru but decided to go inside instead. The menu is massive!I walked in, and I was greeted immediately by the staff and directed to the to go area so I could order. After looking through the menu, I decided to go with a taco plate with beef, beans, and rice. I ordered the birria tacos for my girlfriend and the cheese quesadilla for my son. My plate was on point! I wish wed dined in because my tacos were hard shells, and the ride home made the shells soft. They were crunchy at the top, though. The beans and rice had amazing flavors. They were probably the best Ive had in the Killeen area. My son ate all of his cheese quesadilla, so it was obviously good to him. The birria tacos, however, were pretty sad. The meat was flavorless, and the tacos themselves just didnt taste like any birria tacos wed had before. The consomé was basically a cup of oil and grease. They didnt even get finished. Id dine in next time if I were to go back. I wouldnt mind trying a burrito or the tacos again. The decor is like nothing Ive seen before. I love the added detail, especially the chairs.

This is actually my second visit, the first time I dont remember what I order but it qas so good I even ate the rice which I normally never touch, this time I got a #19 and it was so good I need to come by more often to try more items, it took us about 15 mins to order and get our food altogether thru drive thru yet the food was nice and hot so well worth the wait

It s absolutely gorgeous inside, they have live mariachi bands, and feels like a good authentic Mexican restaurant .however the service and the food sucked. Growing up in a heavily populated Hispanic town & often visiting Mexico I didn t understand how the Queso flameado was a hot plate of chorizo with Queso lightly drizzled on top where is the QUESO in the Queso dish?! I also ordered green chicken enchiladas and the dish was super dry. I asked for more verde sauce to which they brought me a spicy light green hot sauce. After pushing my plate aside and about 3 waitresses passing by without asking how the meal was (about a 10-15 min time period) we asked for the check. They didn t even bat an eye that I didn t eat my meal, maybe this happens a lot. Idk how this place has outstanding reviews or maybe I ordered the two things on the menu that lack sauce or in their words gravy & queso.

The food was fabulous but the service made this place absolutely amazing! My family and I were there to commiserate after a funeral, so the conversation was loud and quite emotional, but the staff was amazing at giving us space but also making sure we had what we needed! Have gone twice now, once with my daughter and both our meals were great. Invited another couple since I was impressed with my first visit and again the food was great. The refried beans have a very good flavor and the rice is good, I always put salsa on my rice & beans which their salsa is pretty darn good.

This place is way bigger on the inside than I expected driving by. I have picked up food from there via the drive through window but never sat down for a meal until this week. They have a fully stocked bar but haven t added a printed drink menu yet. But our server did let us know about the existence of margaritas etc. had a great meal and reasonable prices also.

My husband liked the stew. My mother in law liked her enchildas... But if you are a vegetarian...there really is the nothing for you. The mushroom enchiladas taste like they were made on the same grill soaked in beef juice. Beans tasted porkey. The only edible thing was the side sliced tomatos. Left sad and hungry. Food

If you go there, take your check with you. My husband and I went last night for dinner and our bill was $50. I handed the waitress a $20 bill for her tip later. My card was charged $70 as she added the $20 tip to my card as well. Im sure it was an honest mistake so I called the restaurant, The man I spoke to was extremely rude and asked me what do you expectme to do? I am not going to refund you the $20

Honestly this place was so good! I read reviews before I went and someone left a review about the ground beef being red but that s just the sauce that they use. It was cooked all the way. I got the 25 and added ground beef. And I m not sure if it was the ground beef that was spicy or the enchilada itself. So be Aware, if you don t like spicy. The menudo was also really good!!!! 10/10 definitely recommend

Normally I don t even leave reviews. I just read them before I order from places. We ordered thru Uber Eats and it was our first time trying this restaurant. Everything we ate had an amazing flavor. We ordered a little of everything because we were unsure what to try and portions size. Food came early which was great. The regular salsa is not spicy but taste just perfect. They do have spicy if you want it. The Queso is even better. Loved the tortilla soup. Now let me tell you if you are unsure about ordering order anything with chicken fajita because I think they have the best chicken fajita chicken I have tasted in this area. That was in the soup, chimichanga, and chili releno. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The food was good, the charro beans need more flavor; salsa and chips are good. Service started out ok, then after placing our order and getting out queso; the waitress had a group of people she knew from another restaurant that she worked at and they got serviced and we got forgotten. The bus boy came to see if we were done and I said yes because I wasn t getting a refill on my tea, I asked for our check! No liquor license yet, no music playing in the dinning area, but had it in the restrooms. Nice decor and welcoming but a Mexican restaurant needs music, beer, and service! Ate here twice. First time I ordered there for pick up. Food was made fast as it was a pretty big order for the family. I came here again the next day with the family.
