The tisdale law firm did not handle my case well. I was forgotten, lied to, gas lighted, and they wouldnt give me my new orders even after months of asking. They kept on charging me for stuff that never got used, or was never needed. Mr tisdale told 4k to get my divorce done. After 15k I fired the tisdale law

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM TO REPRESENT YOU FOR BANKRUPTCY! You will regret it. They literally caused my sister to lose her home! They failed to fight for her in court. They stopped paying for her home in the bankruptcy the main reason she got in the bankruptcy. Then he shows up to court, no paperwork in hand, late, wrinkled, no fight no purpose.RUN!

This law firm will tell you just about anything to get you off the phone. I was told different answers by more than one representative and none of them ended up being correct. After speaking with the owner, my understanding of what had transpired improved but I still was not satisfied with how I was treated. Another point is if you schedule a phone appointment with them, you are required to call in and wait until they are ready. You are paying for the services his staff should call you, since you are the paying client when they are ready to speak. This makes you feel unimportant and like you have nothing else better to do than to wait for them. I wouldnt recommend this firm and I hate writing this but it is important for everyone to get all sides of their performance. Maybe I was not an important enough client but I thought the lawyer should be treating each case with the same effort and energy.

Grossly misrepresented! Tisdale Law Firm and their associates were unprofessional for the amount of money that was spent. Joshua Tisdale was late, had no clue who I was, and most importantly showed up underprepared. When trying to inquire information from the office staff about the remaining funds in the account, after the hearing. I was directed to a voicemail and then shortly thereafter emailed a bill for emails and calls that were unnecessarily charged to the account. Leading to the account being depleted of its funds and then some. If you are interested in hiring the Tisdale Law firm for their services; I would strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere.

My experience with Tisdale Law Firm is that the firm lacked integrity. I was not well represented by Josh and the staff communication was poor. Basically, Josh overpromised and underdelivered. I received poor or no counsel regarding my case and I believe Josh and the opposing council were collaborating for their own benefit and not my needs. Josh was unprepared at the mediation hearing and the case precedence he was using to support my case were old and did not specifically apply to my case. Halfway through the mediation, it was just me and the mediator. Neither Josh nor The Tisdale Law Firm staff would meet me in person. I would have to ask questions about my case via email several times with no responses. When I finally did get a response, I was charged for all the emails. I had to discuss unwarranted charges with the office manager several times. Staff were unable to provide me with any knowledge about process or proceedings saying only that they had to consult Josh. Basically, paralegals functioned as messengers. At the close of my case, Josh had filed incorrectly completed paperwork with the court, which I had to consult a different attorney to file on my own and deal with opposing council on my own to rectify the incorrectly filed paperwork. Bottom line, if Josh will not meet you personally face-to-face at the initial consultation; you should reconsider another counsel for representation. If Josh does meet you face-to-face at initial consultation. Perhaps you have a chance for a different client experience. As for me, seriously considering reporting this law firm to the Texas Bar!!

A complete waste of money! First meeting, they give you the warm and fuzzy telling you what can and will happen. Then they get to court and completely fails to follow through. We did a custody revision case with him, and after $8,000, we got absolutely no change, even though he told us the things we were wanting we could absolutely get. FRAUD!!!

This place will charge you for their mistakes. Specifically asked my attorney to not do something which he then does and it causes conflict with my ex spouse. I call the firm to correct their error and they charge me for it. I then asked to NOT be charged for this event because of their wrong doing. I was still billed. I had to wait over four months for my final decree. After I emailed expressing concern and guess what..charged for them sitting on my decree..I am still waiting on my retainer balance. If I call or email them asking about their delinquencies they will charge me. The firm is unorganized and they all appear to be confused. As a client going through a divorce I expected to feel supported by my appointed law firm. It was just the opposite I was fearful of the process and how the lawfirm supported me. Highly do not recommend. Update 17 July 2023. My case was finalized early December 2022. It has been over 7 months. Still do not have my retainer balance. Have called and emailed numerous times to be given the run around. I contacted the BB to ask for assistance.

First free consultation was good - he instills confidence. After he is hired, its a completely different story. You cannot get him on the phone (you have to schedule a phone appointment). He took days and sometimes weeks to return my emails. He billed me between $800 and $1,600 each month and would not even tell me what that was for as our case was stagnant. In court, he was completely unprepared - he fumbled thru his laptop the entire time trying to question witnesses when opposing counsel had tabbed binders ready and asked very specific and pointed questions. Do NOT hire this law firm unless you want to be very disappointed, over-charged, and left in the dark. I ended up firing him in the middle of my case and finished with another attorney who won my case for me in less than 6 weeks. I highly recommend Brittany Darby if you need an attorney - stay far away from this firm.

Paying this firm is the same (or worse) than throwing your money away, I hired this firm to represent me in my divorce and get the custody of my children, they never called me when they had to do it, in the courts the lawyer did not know what to say because he had NOTHING prepared, I think that an enemy or I alone would have represented me better Please stay away from there.

Called to see if they can help with an eviction that I can do myself. They said they handled evictions however they require I pay $237 to see how much they would charge to handle the eviction. I am reviewing based on my initial contact with this law firm. Their intake procedure requires them to obtain personal information such as social security numbers and drivers license information before you have even retained the lawyer. They do not tell you why they need this information and what they do with this information. If you do not provide the information, the intake form can not be submitted, which means you can not speak to a lawyer. Further, if you decide not to hire the. lawyer, they have this personal information about you at the firm. When asked to speak to a supervisor over the intake process, the person on the phone refused. Absolutely ridiculous.

The Tisdale law firm is an elite group of professionals ! I was in a vindictive custody battle with my ex wife, it was the final hearing and she had a snake of a lawyer! The Tisdale law firm made sure I was heard , and most importantly the truth was heard! Some ppl hire lawyers but here you hire the whole team! I reached out to Tiedale law firm for my simple custody case. My first complaint was I emailed some very important papers for my case and was told my email had went to junk mail. I say simple because both parties were agreeing. I was told one price and 4 weeks later 95% of that pot of money was gone with nothing to show (not even one court hearing) but paperwork that we signed and had notarized ourselves. I was sent an invoice to show where the money had gone. Which was ridiculous (Im willing to share) because I wish I knew then what I know now. After 95% of that money was gone I was asked for more because you have to keep $1,500 in their pot which I had put that plus more. I discontinued the service because what I was told during the first conversation is not the way it had went. So I just called all the money a lost. This law firm wasnt for me.

Having a CDL, driving is my livelihood. After receiving a speeding ticket in my personal vehicle, I contacted lawyers in the area, one told me the only option was a trial ($4000+), others wouldn t represent me. My experience with Thomas Young at Baker & Tisdale helped make one of the worst times in my life to become one of the best. After being wrongly fired from a job in healthcare Id had for 8 years, I felt defeated. Then, I felt hopeful, liquidated my 401k & 403b plans, paid off debts, and started looking for a new job. Since I have two friends who were wrongly fired and received their unemployment benefits, I was confident Id receive mine. I was wrong. I was denied benefits. I filed an appeal and was encouraged by friends & family to seek legal council. After several calls, I was referred to Thomas Young. We spoke on the phone and agreed on a fee. We discussed how there was no guarantee that wed win the appeal, but wed do our best. Although I wanted to win the appeal, I was happy to know that at least Id tried. Almost 3 months after being fired, it was time for my speakerphone appeal hearing. Tom let me know that many of these hearings take 10 - 15 minutes, and often the hearing officer has already made up their mind. The hearing lasted TWO HOURS! Throughout the hearing, Tom helped me remain calm & focused. Not knowing the outcome, we exchanged thanks & Merry Christmas wishes. Approximately 2 weeks later, I received a letter. I knew this was the ruling. We won the appeal! Im confident that I absolutely could not have accomplished this without Toms help.
