What a horrible experience. Joyce the manager yelled at me about my service animals barking. Called me a liar saying service animals dont bark. Worst experience I have had. Paid $100 a night and it was not worth it. You had tweakers running around waiving guns and nothing was done about that. People yelling and screaming in the parking lot. Definitely not a kid friendly site. With all the druggies and then to top it all off, there was even a drug overdose on the premises and Joyce still didnt remove the drug addicts to keep it safe for families and children. How sad. If I could give it zero stars I would!!! Safety: Must take precautions when renting here. There is no safe space unless youre creating your own.

They had cockroaches really bad in the room. They were even crawling on the walls on the outside of the room literally outside, I was standing outside smoking a cigarette and went to go back in the room and several roaches were crawling literally up the wall OUTSIDE Rooms: Roaches infestation Nearby activities: Nothing Safety: There are a lot of undesirables that hang out there and around there. Walkability: Dont know didnt walk around Noteworthy details: Again infestation of roaches inside the room and literally outside crawling up the walls.

OMG I have pictures of this room that I was supposed to stay in it had bugs ALL over the bedding had stains all over it. The chair was filthy and disgusting. And the handicap shower chair was all busted up and dirty and when I asked for a refund, I got laughed.And corporate didn t help one damn bit if only the pictures look like it actually is. I wouldn t put street dogs in it. Didn t feel safe at all it more for them homeless

When the EF2 tornado hit Temple,Tx. They were able to accommodate my family. We booked for 7 days only need 2. The staff were very caring and supportive. The non smoking room was very comfy and pleasant for my infant grandson.

If I could give 0 stars that is what I would do. I was extremely uncomfortable in this hotel. I received a phone call at 10:30 asking me to go down and sign a paper. It was night time, my son was asleep and I requested it be done in the morning and the front desk person said he was going to come to my room. Extremely uncomfortable experience. The bathroom was not clean; the sheets had stains and burn holes in them. I booked a king bed and got 2 doubles. There was someone slumped over outside on the second floor in a chair. I had an issue with the key card, check out - there was nobody for me to speak with. Not at all a good experience. Rooms: Not clean at all. Safety: Random guy slumped over outside.

Came to town for an event around 4p. So I checked in then went to my event. When I arrived back to the room. First thing I noticed was the no smoking sign on the door (reserved a smoking room) get into the room. Its smells horrible, the sheets and blankets were nasty and had stains, there was mold in the bathroom. So we left. Checked out and was told that we had to speak with mgmt for a refund and she would call us in the am. Which she didnt do.. so we called her. when speaking to Joyce there was no resolve to our issues only excuses. Very rude very unprofessional. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! Save your time and money Rooms: This room was nasty. And the staff does not care that its nasty

Hopefully I can post pictures but the pro, the room was nice and cold. Other than that, probably should look for something else. Someone s nose ring was left on the counter top so that tells me it wasn t cleaned well at all. The bedspread had a 8 oval stain and a cigarette burn. Writing on the bathroom door, and on the peep hole of the door. The blow dryer looks as if it exploded and was left there to die. Room had an odor that made it hard to sleep. The edge of the tub has some kind of stains, the tissue holder was covered in rust. The microwave is an antique. The chain lock was barely attached and looked awful. Oh and it appears they needed a second bed in a one bed room and just moved a full size bed in where the table used to be (no headboard, just mattress/frame). Going to try and post pics now. Save your money and possibly health.

At first I was not very pleased with the fact the room I booked was not available when I checked in, however, the attendant at the front was extremely nice and got me moved into the room I requested the next day. This hotel gives very good service and is very conveniently located along the E Central Expressway. This was my second time staying there and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Needs some updating or deep cleaning. The carpet either has to go or professionally cleaned. You can just feel the grime, which brings me to the chair. I only booked a room here just for the chair evaluation. Already looking at it you can feel the dirt, far worse than the floor. Which is something I guess. So u did a spot of light Cleaning. A good shampoo or steam clean would bring it back to life. Or If lazy just toss them. I sure didnt want to sit in it so others probably arent either and its a waste of space. The sanitized tape on the toilet was a plus. Give the rest of the place Im not sure its completely honest. I would also recommend changing the outdoor lights as they attract thousands of bugs which had no problem finding their way down my shirt.

The stagf Kevin and Joyce were absolutely fantastic. The pool was sparkling clean. On the other hand , the room was not supplied and the floors were so dirty our feet were black from walking on them. Linen was dirty the bathroom was dirty. Either train the housekeeper or get a new one.

Check in was thru a night service window even though it was only 5 oclock and the sun was still out. ( this should have been my first sign to turn back and spend a little more money) The lady at the front was nice. The parking lot seemed a little full to me for the time of day. People were standing around outside. The room was out of date but did not smell bad and everything in it worked. I noticed 2 dead bugs nats flying around and a lot of mildew. I kept checking on my vehicle as there were a few people sitting around outside drinking from about 6-8pm, after 8 others came out and were running up and down the steps yelling, singing, dancing, jumping, etc. At some point after 11pm the cops were called and they had a loud exchange with the people for about an hour then took them off to jail. The next morning the parking lot was full of trash, trash cans over flowing with stuff that smelled like death. Once we returned to the room our bed was made and towels refreshed. That night once again people were running, singing, and talking very loud outside. One positive the refrigerator was extremely cold. Needless to say this hotel will be on my do not visit again list.

We had booked and paid for our stay in advance. Our arrival was late due to multiple airline issues out of our control. Upon arriving we were told there was no reservation period even after insisting they double check. The staff instructed us to try to book it again, which considering we had already paid $420 that was not considered. The travel agency we booked through called the Travelodge and were told we were a no show however upon our arrival we were nowhere in the system according to Kevin who was working the desk. They refuse to provide any refund period. The customer service is severely lacking as they straight took our full pre-payment for our entire selected stay yet lied about there every being a reservation to us however told our travel booking agency otherwise. Either way we had to find and pay for different lodging with no type of refund, apology, or attempt to rectify this matter. No offer for a voucher or discounted stay for another date in the future was even offered due to this situation.

I checked in for a 2 nite stay as a contractor working on the Military base. The job was canceled after my first nite stay. I wwnt to the front desk before check out time and them know i wouldnt be staying the 2nd nite due to the base closing. I asked them to refund me for the 2nd nite and they informed me there was a $15 dollar charge to refund me. Traveling for 25 years and staying in hotels 300 days a year not to mention being a Dimond Member with Wyndham this was a total shock to me because Ive never had this done to me in 25 years of traveling. Im going to contact Wyndham and file a complaint. The toung lady at the front desk was very nice, I let her know if they are going to scam me out of money maybe they can use it to have someone come in and spray for the roaches that were in my room. She explained they have a company come in once a month to spray I told her they need to fire that company cause it dont seem like its helping. If you decide to stay here I would suggest you pay for 1 nite at a time so you dont get ripped off like I got. Guest BEWARE

Ok, so knowing this place was in Killeen, I had my worries. Room was cute, fairly clean (couple large bugs), small bathroom and a shower i could barely get working. Friendly staff. Aweful. Building is run down. Towels were cheap and stained. Strong smell of the type of cleaner used to mask odors. Free breakfast is fake news (they were like, oh we are not open for breakfast.) We got 4rooms for me and my party. Unfortunately I got one of the worst Roma I have stayed in. The bed wasn t comfortable at any location (king) the shower wasn t good either and there was a lot or noise out. I have asked them twice to change rooms and twice they told me no, so I had to call the credit card company. I can understand not so good service at this type of place, but if I m going to you twice at least be decent enough to get me another room or get me my money back and let me get another place.

I did not stay. The desk clerk and the owner were very rude. Did not want to refund my money on a room I never got, but they collected the funds from my card. The owner called and texted my personal number telling me the money was nonrefundable and told me to find somewhere else to stay, which I definitely did. I will never reserve a room here again and Im grateful that booking.com refunded my money that was taken from my account for a room I never stayed in. Be careful with this company.

Our reservation was made Via phone for the wrong night but we showed up at 2AM and the manager, Kevin, was nice and kind and greeted us like family. Refreshing since we had been traveling all day. He fixed our reservation ASAP.. no questions asked. We were only supposed to be here one day, but work required to stay another night and Kevin remembered who we were and welcomed us, reserved a new room with the same rate even though it was so last min! Room was clean. Good for the rate. Fast WiFi! Thank you Kevin!

I lost my husband bacjk in August. I couldnt bring myself to stay at home by myself. So I went on a cruise didnt enjoy. Upon my return I found myself taking long rides I ended up staying one night at the Travelodge which in turn lead to be my safe haven. The staff is very polite and caring. Jouce the housekeeper is very friendly I found myself talking to her about my situation. The manager he was very polite always ask me how i was doing and if I needed anything.

My stay at the hotel was awesome the staff were very friendly and professional. The only problem was that my catalytic converter was stolen during the night. This left a sour taste in my mouth.

I quite enjoy my stay here. Large room. King sized bed. Good sized shower and tub in case I want to take a bath. Has a microwave and mini fridge to store my food. Large sink and sink top area for my bathing amenities. Has a table with lamp and an office chair in case I need to use it. Mostly use it to eat my meals on. Has a lounge chair and ottoman that is very own side table. Two night stands and of course air conditioning. Also a free breakfast every morning. And a pool. So ya. I like it.

Dont go to this hotel. Its less than a one star. The room was nasty, there were spiderwebs on the walls, the bed linnen and towels dirty and dingy. The female clerk at the desk was rude. We stayed there for about an hour waiting on the general manager to get a refund on my credit card and they still charged me for the night. But I paid it not to put my family through this horrible experience on vacation!

It has recently changed hands, was concerned briefly in the beginning. Absolutely no need... Kevin is just as reasonable as Dave was, Has also steadily made a marked improvrnent every week..Started with cleaning the carpets in the entire place! Nothing must have been moveing when he looked because there is not a spot that has not been painted! Reasonably priced and the have added scrambled eggs and biskits and sasage gravy. Thanks Dave! Love the staff, friendly owners and good location! I stay here often and the rooms are clean, rates are reasonable. I would recommend this place as one of the better options of the area in this price range
