Man assuming the owner was so rude to me as a woman when I was just picking up an order under a mans name he ignored me and addressed my little brother who seems older as if he knew what was going on Im standing there repeating the order name and hes still ignoring me talking to my kid brother! So RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IF I SAY ITS MY ORDER 10 TIMES AND SHOW YOU GIVE ME THE DAMN FOOD INSTEAD OF ARGUING WITH ME ASSUMING ITS MY BROTHERS FOOD BECAUSE ITS UNDER A MANS NAME! DO BETTER HOW YOU ADDRESS WOMEN DONT IGNORE WHEN IM TRYING TO MAKE YOUR JOB EASIER! NEVER GOING BACK! Look how you lied in your response my brother is my witness and said you were rude by just addressing him shame you lie and laugh never had this experience ever in Killeen! Do better we have no reason to lie on 1 random food place we just found so pick another lie to come up with! Only you were rude not the other staff so take accountability!

I tried fried red snapper it was very flavorful and delicious! Definitely going back. My husband got fried chicken he doesn t really eat fried foods but he loved the chicken! I tried it too and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, golden brown, and crispy. My husband also loved the cabbage. I think it was kimchi cabbage. He ate his and mine lol Parking: Nice size parking lot. Plenty of parking space Wheelchair accessibility: The handicap stalls are a bit tight.

I was visiting my home town Killeen, looking for local Dominican food, when I ended up discovering Sabor de Haiti instead. Let s just say I m very pleased I found this place. The owner/chef was very genuine and the food was great. I had great conversations with the other customers and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was a 10/10. It s small businesses like this that should be recognized for the quality that goes into the whole experience of dining there. I know where I will visit anytime I find my way back to Killeen. I couldn t recommend enough.

Me Hubby popped in here for a lunch date. We had a taste for some good Haitian food decided to give this place a try. It s a very laid back atmosphere. Our server was nice and had good customer service. I had the snapper stew and Hubby had the fried snapper. The texture of the rice was really good however not the flavor we were looking forward to. But the SNAPPER!! Was soooooo good! The fried Okra was really good too! Overall good place to try! If you pop in GET THE SNAPPER!! lol Parking: Great Parking Options Kid-friendliness: Kid Friendly relaxing environment

I drove up from Austin to Killeen to get some Haitian food. The food was well worth the drive and the owner/chef was very welcoming! The tasso cabrit was cooked to perfection and I look forward to trying all their plates.

Swung by Sabor De Haiti in Killeen for a bite and man, was I impressed. The second I walked in, the smell of sizzling griot hit me like a ton of bricks - my mouth was watering before I even sat down! The food definitely didnt disappoint. Their griot (fried pork) is crazy good, especially paired with the tangy pikliz slaw. The legume stew packed a ton of flavor too. But it wasnt just the grub that made this place awesome. The staff was so friendly and passionate about Haitian culture. They made me feel right at home. By the time I left, my belly was full and my heart was happy. Sabor De Haiti is an awesome hidden gem. Whether youre craving delicious Haitian fare or just want to be immersed in the island vibes, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend checking it out next time your in Killeen!

I luv this restaurant!!! My friend brought our friend group to its food truck nearby MonAmies Caribbean Flava Ice for her birthday party which was the best idea because we got ice cream after ordering our foods. I got the goat entree and my two friends got the chicken entree that included macaroni, a dipping sauce, a spicy vegetable side, and a choice of rice with fried fritters (everything was delicious!). The lady was very nice, I have no complaints about anything. If you have an interest for Caribbean food, I suggest you to check them out!!

As their website says, theyd dont just service food, they provide an experience. Firstly, the music was amazing. Really set the tone for a friendly atmosphere and delicious meal prepared by a chef with love and soul. Highly recommend the chicken akra and the empanadas. I dont think you could pick a dish that wasnt amazing off this meal. Try it out! Great lunch time meal

They were out of a few things when we went so I d call before going, just to make sure if it s something that you REALLY want to have to eat or the reason you re going. The flavor was great the portion of the dish I ordered was good enough for me, red snapper fish fried $20. The fish was fried really nice and the flavor was alllll there. The chicken dish (two bone in full pieces) was a good portion and the flavors again was allll there $16. The oxtails dish was amazing too, the only thing was the sizes of the oxtails were really tiny with hardly any meat on them, the bowl of oxtails came with potatoes and carrots cooked to perfection, the texture of both was soooo good and the flavors were allll there. All of the dishes came with rice and fried plantains. They had this delicious cabbage, onion, and sliced carrots pickled side (this was my favorite thing on my plate). It came with the empanadas (haitis style) $6.50, for two. The empanadas were soooo good I loved them. The service was amazing the man was so very kind and genuine. The music was just like it is when you re walking into a club and it was 4pm lol. Definitely give this place a try!!!!

I went a few weeks ago, and actually found the restaurant by complete accident. I was NOT looking for a Haitian restaurant. In Killeen at that. Listen I m in Houston right now craving the food! I want to road trip back JUST to get the food. Even the customer service was superb. The moment my friend and I walked in I was greeted in creole by Mario. All of what I had made me cry. I did not even order out I dined in I couldn t wait. The food was SO good. I 100% recommend coming here. Mario gave me a gift card and told me it s usually popping on Fridays and I honestly will be coming back to check it out. SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!
