Went back after the youngster at the drive thu mest up our order just for them to mess it up again . The manger lady there seems very nice but her crew is a joke, the shift leader was on her phone the whole time. 0/10 on the service I hope the manager lady finds a better crew because I really feel bad for her.

Hello my name is Cassie, why don t you review that menu and I ll be back with you in a moment .5 minutes later, hello my name is Cassie, how can I help you. She kept asking questions as we were ordering, the car in front of us was a big order and instead of telling them to park off to the side Cassie continues to correct the order with them at the window. When we finally pull up to the window we can hear Cassie laughing and joking with the other staff before us. When she finally takes our card she says, I got another one, to which her co-worker says, they like you to night! Cassie responds Hell no, I m ready to just go home. She is then asked how much longer and she says 17 Minutes. I said that was rude, because if you think that of the customer behind us, you obviously thought that of us as a customer before the last car. Cassie pretends not to hear us. Point is bad customer service. Two cars ahead of us, same introduction and left them waiting to order. Long wait, and unprofessional behavior in front of a customer. Someone please give Cassie some customer service training!!

Placed my order online at this location while in the parking lot. Gave them 10 minutes before I got in the drive thru line. Proceeded to wait at the speaker behind someone for another five minutes. Decided to drive around that person to the window. These people didn t even acknowledge me at the window until 1:20 pm. The man just stared at me like I was supposed to ask him for his order. Then had the audacity to have the wrong sandwich in my bag. Raggedy attitudes and customer service. I will stay on post next time.

This is got to be one of the slowest restaurants I ve ever been to. It definitely doesn t count as fast food. The staff is slow to respond and unconcerned about leaving you waiting 10+ minutes at the speakerbox to even place an order. From there its at least another 10-15 minutes to receive your food. Staff doesnt seem to care that they are making you wait excessively. Store is frequently unable to complete orders because they re out of some product. Store does not cook enough food to have product available in the hour before they close. I would recommend going anywhere else the customer service here is not worth wasting your time with. Terrible experiences every time I ve had to come pick up Uber orders here. Store needs to be completely restaffed and put under new management because its very very poorly run.

Drove through the drive through and it is a sign on the ordering screen that says the mic doesnt work so move foward when ready to order, after gather my order I preceeded to the window to order were the cashier asked was I picking up a door dash I told her no she then told me they were closed. The time was 1050. I asked what time they closed and she said 10. The website says the restaurant is open untill 11. This is very poor business. Have people working that actually wants to work.

This location has some of the rudest employees I have ever seen at any chain restaurant. They are so unbelievably rude an inappropriate they curse and talk and on top of that the wait time is so long to get one little thing. When they have you waiting for 30+ minutes and you can hear them laughing and cursing in the back it really just makes you angry. On top of that they are rude when they actually do talk to you .

Absolutely terrible service and work ethic. Wife went to pickup food, went through the drive thru, waited 25+ minutes for it, for them to only give us HALF of what we ordered. She went in to get the rest, and there was about 10 people in line, nobody taking orders, no food coming out of the kitchen. Ended up refunding what we didn t get on the app. This is not the first issue we ve had at this location. The Popeyes in South Korea was 100000x better in every single way, and more than half of the employees barely spoke English. Unreal.

I only went here because the one in Harker Heights closed. I really don t like coming to this location because of customer service. I was in the drive thru a few cars head and it was close to 11. I get the loudspeaker and the guy tells me to hold on.. at one minute till he answers and then I tell him what I want. He responds with all we have is bread I m like what? You could have told me that before you had me wait. It made no sense. Horrible experience.

This is the second time I ve been to this location and both times at least 5 people were standing around waiting for a cashier to help someone. There were several employees around tending to drive through so this time (after waiting with the rest for a cashier more than 15mins) - I got in my car and went through the drive through just to park and bring it back into the dining room to eat. lol. I m glad I did - because they forgot to give me any honey for my biscuits. They literally snicker with one another while people are forced to stare hungrily at their backs, powerless against all of the cashier-less registers. The food was fine, the lobby was clean but These people suck.

This Popeyes is one of the slowest places with the least motivated staff you will ever experience. I got here, there were 2 people in line already. For 10 minutes they didnt even take any orders. When I finally placed my order I was told itd take 13 to 15 minutes until I receive my order. After 17 minutes I inquired about the status of my order and was told itd be another 5 minutes. I didnt order a big order or any extra variations, a simple 3 piece chicken with leg thigh wing. This is beyond ridiculous. They have one more min before Ill be asking for my refund. Edit: As I was going to ask for the refund the chicken was finally ready. This was also not a one off experience, this location has been steadily getting worse and worse.

The location is 1001 W Central Texas Killeen and the time I went into the restaurant is after 3: 30. The receipt is so faded you can barely read it of course . Never have I felt so invisible or disrespected. Upon coming into this franchise my gut said leave now. Once I got into the establishment I saw no one at the front counter, that was a red flag. However this location is normally my favorite so I just I can wait. There was a customer at the front counter, and I was behind her and two people were behind me. The manager Had already taken later in front of me order, and I guess he was preparing it. As she walked by preparing her order, she said honey I ll be right with you. I thought the word honey was unprofessional, but I said OK. Finally, she came and took my order, but instead of preparing my order after I paid her, she prepared people that were behind me. I guess cause they have an online order, I don t know. I only ordered a two piece with red beans and rice medium drink. I was trying to figure out why it was such a small order takes so long. So if she fix the peoples food behind me, she went outside told another clerk to come in and take orders. She failed to do tell her that I already paid and fix my order. I m still waiting, while I m waiting a guy comes in we hold conversation. The employee who came from outside, took his order and started fixing his food. I m still standing here wondering where is my food. The manager who took my order along time ago came up and said oh I m gonna fix it now. How is it that somebody who just came in can get their order and the people who were behind me can get their order I mean, I get mine. That shows lack of m Management skills in order. I told the manager you have no order at this location. Again I want to say normally this is my favorite location. However, today it was the worst experience I ever had since I ve been here which was 2012. You know it s a bad day when the people who got their food before yours, is apologizing to you and not the manager.

No stars to give. Very bad customer service. Employees were cursing & very rude. It s one with pink hair, she has a very foul mouth and bad attitude. The whole front staff should be fired. I waited 25-30 minutes for my food while they stood around and gossiped. OMG little poor girl was trying to take and bag all the orders, she stated she was fairly new. After the long wait and the line to the door my food wasn t fresh. Me and my husband used to enjoy our lunch dates at Popeyes but it has just gone downhill. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION IF YOURE HAVING A GOOD DAY. There are 3 Big women at this location, with colorful wigs, who are just hideous and have no tact when it comes to customer service. Numerous times I have gone to this particular location (its closer) and every time my experience is horrible. I , on several occasions have witnessed abuse from management; or whoever they are, talking down to their young employees. The food is good but I wont go back. On multiple (4) occasions, I received the worst service possible. Drive through has very long wait times. My orders were mixed up. Examples...ordered un sweetened ice tea....received sweetened (Im diabetic).....ordered mashed potato sides....received rice/bean dish. Staff appears to not give a damn. This is literally the worst fast food place to go in all of Killeen, probably all Bell county. Because of the TERRIBLE service. I stopped going there last year because of it. Now Im doing Uber eats and I have to go there occasionally for that. I go also to the harker heights Popeyes and on the post and those ones are fine. I was at the Popeyes on the post a few weeks ago and mentioned the one on central highway and how their service is much worse, this was to someone working at the one on the post because her service was much better and friendlier. She told me never go to the other one because theyre terrible and theyre supposed to be closing in a few months due to reports of rats that keep going in there due to nearby construction plus they dont keep their kitchen clean enough. Wow! Anyway I was unfortunately back there again tonight for a Uber eats order. And once again couldnt get any help for 12 minutes even though there was only one other customer. Finally I was asked who I was picking up for and when I told them they said oh were out of chicken sandwiches, I already told the other guy. If she just would have asked me when I came in then I wouldnt have had to wait all that time for nothing. And theyre always running out items too. Anyway when I said this to her she just got mad and went on. Another coworker was there and had to unlock the door for me because it was lobby closing time. She went out to the parking lot as well and told some people in a car about this who then started yelling at me in a threatening way do you have a problem with her huh, huh? I just left because I had another delivery to pick up but if I didnt then I probably would have stayed and talked to the manager and probably called the police. Ok, this post is ONLY for the Popeyes location in Killeen Texas on the corner of Ft. Hood Road & Central Texas Expressway. Their food SUCKS, the service is horrible, & the restaurant feels like a SAUNA. I went in there to order, & they fry up all this chicken (it gets dry just sitting) because they are too LAZY to care about customer experience. (ALL the workers act like they are TOO tired & are just there). The chi chicken because it sits is CONSISTANTLY DRY. And the Restaurant is Hot As Hell. So, not only do you get dry chicken, but you get a less than friendly atmosphere. In a hot ( non air conditioned) restaurant. I would suggest that if you love that chicken from Popeyes....Drive to HH or Cove. Youll DEFINITELY get your moneys worth.

I visited Popeyes on Fort Hood Road and spent a significant amount on a 16-piece family meal, but the chicken was mostly overcooked and hard as a brick. The restaurant needs new cutters, cooks, and management to improve the quality of their food. Unfortunately, only a few pieces of chicken were fresh, and it seems that the store is getting worse. It seems no matter where you go, the Popeyes experience never changes. The wait is crazy long. It really is mind blowing how long you wait. It is unfortunate when the staff of such a famous establishment hires some people. I was shopping there today and the woman who served me did not pay attention to what I asked, she was more in conversation with the rest of the staff every time I spoke to her. I ignored I came to buy not to ask them I think this is also because managers have to be more aware of their staff more than those at the cashier because a lot depends on whether customers want to return. If I could give this cashier a zero star I would give it to her but the application It wont let me, so please, the person in charge of this branch should pay more attention to his staff, especially those who are at the cash desk because there are people who are working in some jobs because they have no other choice. Go anywhere else, do yourself the favor. Even the other locations, but this one is trash. 20 minute wait in the drive through, half after they had me money. Wrong drink, barely any fries, and the sandwich was so cold the cheese was still fully refrigerated. The bottom bun was wet and the chicken was cold, but through the cracked, old breading you could see how overcooked it had been. It looked gross. I drove 5 minutes back, went inside to get a refund having eaten none of it. Inside, one customer was finishing ordering and the lady taking his order saw the food I had and ignored me. Two other ladies rushed around filling orders for the drive through and doordash. I waited to be addressed for 15 minutes. A couple waited behind me for about half the time and 2 delivery people were quickly addressed but told to wait for the one chef to get to their orders. Something like 5 minutes after they were handled and I still wasnt, I put the bag of food on the counter with the cup and receipt, told everyone behind me it was free, untouched garbage-food and advised if they wanted Popeyes, to go to any other location. The guy behind me left. If anyone cared to look, the receipt time was 6:07 and I stormed out at 6:50. I respect myself too much to ever put myself through that again. Enjoy the $12.44, Popeyes. If I could 0 stars I would. Pulled in the drive thru at 9:57pm to pick up a grubhub order. Waited over an hour and once I got to the window it was 11:01 and they told me they were closed and couldn t give me the order for my delivery. This is the worst location ever. The manager was very rude. They must be desperate for mangers to make this lady a manager. The workers that were there incompetent and horrible customer service. Stay away from here if possible. The one in harker heights is better but not by much.

This is the worst location in Killeen. They ll take your order at the drive thru, wait forever to get to the window and then tell you they don t have your order in the system as if you didn t place the order. You ask for spicy tenders and they tell you a 20 minute wait at the window so you settle for what you didn t want. This will be my last time at this location. DO BETTER!

Had 2 uber orders, the lady that was serving bagged my first order and then continued to ignore me while serving another 6 customers making me wait 40 mins(keep in mind that the driveway was still being served as well). Got her attention between orders to remind her about my 2nd order only to be ignored every single time. Then i got a hold of the manager only to be told that they ran out of half the order and the server also started having an attitude. Told the manager how long I waited and she couldnt even care less. Horrible service over here.

Very racially profiled here. Went to pick up two orders and was skipped numerous times. Then when I did get mine, I got half of it and was told they lost the other one. Then told they had to cook it. Customer service stunk! Was traveling through and stopped there to eat. As the only customer in the resaturant I still had to wait at least 5 minutes before I was acknowledge at the counter. Then the greeting was what can I get you... no informatilities of a hello or welcome go Popeye. The tables were dirty, and I had to wipe our table down before we sat down. The place was so bad that when I accidentally spilled my drink onto the floor it blended with the rest of the mess as normal. I left very dissatisfied. I would never have given a review unless Google reminded me to give it months later and forced me to relive that horrible experience.

Pick a different location! The staff is rude & SLOOOW!!!!! I waited 17 minutes to get to order. Was told to hold & left there for an additional 8 minutes to be told they didn t have classic chicken legs. So I d have to wait an additional 20 min. I don t know who is running this Popeyes but it needs to be CLOSED. The food quality is trash and never receive the correct food ordered through delivery. It s almost as if they intentionally mess up your order to deter you from wanting to place online orders. The food is never fresh either. Why are you giving out old food and closing the kitchen at 10pm if you close at 11pm? TRASH TRASH TRASH all the way around. So I went through the drive thru and ordered a surf and turf they literally gave me tenders that s been sitting all day and so dry and smaller than my pinkey I can t make this up I came back through.. and they told me the kitchen is closed and they can t make any more fresh ones they close at 11.. Ordered food through Uber eats. Popeyes gives my food to a random person. My Uber eats driver shows up to get the food and its not there and somehow Popeyes makes it my responsibility for them giving my food to the wrong person. Talk to the manager. She said there was nothing they can do other than issue a refund. Recreating the order was never an option. Love Popeyes will never order from this store again.

I went through the drive through here a few days ago. No one was in the drive through and no one was inside. I waited at the drive through for 10 minutes and no one said anything to me at all. I didn t want to get out because I had my baby with me. We went inside anyways thinking maybe they are busy or short staffed. No. There were 7 people behind the counter. That is so lazy. Do better. Picking up Uber eats orders or getting food for myself here has been an unpleasant experience. Disorganized. Unprofessional staff. Unusually long waits when there are no other customers in line. My experience was horrible, so much so that within an hour of having finished eating I ended up at the hospital with severe stomach pain, nausea and diarrhea and after a while my sister also got the same thing and we had eaten the same thing. They didnt give me what I asked for in my order and I realized when we got home. I will never go back to Popeyes Louisiana horrible and I have talked to several people about it and they have had the same bad experience.

Walked in with my family since my daughter been craving popeyes and as i walked to the counter i notice the one worker was sweeping and looks at me and sayswhen did yall get here? Like we bothered her with a whole attitude intead of welcoming the customers...i ordered a 3 pc with a breast and i even came up to the counter and asked for the breast again since i saw her grab only dark meat...she shows me the thigh thinking it was a breast...thankfully a nice worker took my order back and gave me the chx breast. Just work on service ppl its just chicken...update 12-23-24 went drive thru this time nice lady takes my order. She tells me that they were waiting on tenders and asked me to park so they can bring the order outside(no biggie). I decided to go inside since it was raining so the workers would have to get wet nor stop what they were doing....i walked in and the same lady with the long colored braids was there. First thing out here mouth was WHATS WRONG with a whole attitude not knowing if i was the drive thru person or just another walk in. As she was being nice to other people, it was not the same experience for me. This lady needs a training on customer service or quit the food industry all together...i will not be back anytime soon.

I attempted to use the drive through and found a sign that said the speaker was Out Of Order to then roll up to the window and find the entire staff inside goofing about and no matter that I honked my horn or knocked on the window did anyone so much as speak to me. It would be one thing to be closed but waiting 15-20min at the window with no service what s so ever is unbelievable and unacceptable. I ordered a spicy crispy sandwich, Cajun fries and biscuit. I paid for all combo with the biscuit as an add on, I received a sandwich, drink and fries. This location needs attention by the ownership. This is no joke, this is the worst fast food location I have ever spent my hard earned money at. Either you are given an attitude at the drive through intercom or you are waiting in silence for a very long time. The staff DOES NOT wear gloves when handling your food. They DO NOT wear proper safety and hygienic protection. I ve seen with my own eyes through the drive the window the staff touch food barehanded that is FOUL! I ve had several instances where my very simple order has been messed up by incorrect, or missing items also very often the quality of food is horrid. I m not one to normally complain about food and or service but tonight was just not great. We got there and sat at the intercom for almost 5 minutes before someone finally started talking. It took me making a joke saying mom are you home . Then once we got to the window the workers were more busy talking then getting my money. Which by no means am I complaining but still shouldn t take that long with multiple people just standing around. I asked for sauce with my nuggets and didn t receive them and I had to ask multiple times for straws. Then to get home and eat my chicken and it s mostly all breading. I got what I thought was huge chunks and it was all breading. I could poke my finger and the whole piece would just crumble. It was so bad I had to throw my food away and not eat. Note to self go someone else or just cook at home. Definitely don t understand how workers can be rewarded with minimum wage + jobs when they can t even do simple tasks.

Ordered a 16-piece family meal via drive-thru. Got to the window, and the older gentleman with long black hair must have been in a not so good mood. I wanted him to repeat the order to make sure it was right, and I guess thats something they arent accustomed to or are not required. I checked the meal at the window. Everything was there with the exception of napkins and utensils for the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Other than that, everything ran smoothly.
