Website says they close at 9pm on Sunday evenings. Drove all the way there to be turned away at 830 and told we close early on Sundays . Very disappointing and a lack of respect shown by the bartender when I mentioned the website.

How Dare You, This Manager owner tried to embarrass me, but he did not. After sending it back, he came out and told me that he stuck his finger in my crabcake and then when the second crabcake came out, he stuck a thermometer in it and said it was hot 70°. The owner, Craig said he stuck his finger in my Crab Cake!!!!!! I can t even explain what I experienced tonight just a cup of French onion soup, and a crabcake became the worst nightmare and the most uncomfortable experience of a woman of color in Texas ever in the 12 years that I ve lived here. Disrespectful! I will never return to this restaurant I was made to feel or they tried to make me feel like I was dumb. I also was almost embarrassed when the owner or manager came out and shunned me for reporting that my crab-cake was cool to the touch! !I always felt welcomed and enjoyed my experience at this restaurant run by Craig Vaught. I ordered my usual French onion soup and then I decided to have an appetizer of crab cake! I sent it back because it was warm lukewarm. I was embarrassed when the owner came out and told me he stuck his finger in my crabcake and told me it was warm. They gave me another side of crab cake and it was actually cool to the touch and he came out and put a thermometer inside of my crabcake, he did not embarrass me. He embarrassed all of Irving/Las Colinas costumers. Don t be fooled, he treated me with the most disrespectful table side manner!! Shame on you for not allowing people to dine within your establishment in peace.

Overall a mediocre experience. Im also confused by the concept. Isnt this a wine bar? The waiter could provide no information about their limited selection. We got a charcuterie and cheese board, which was fine, nothing special. We also ordered a chicken sandwich and veggie panini. Wed rate both as mid.

1st - I ordered a onion soup and arrived with 2 pieces of onion skin (outer layer). Not very pleasant to chew a texture that felt like plastic. 2nd- the cookers were not wearing hair nets or securing their hairs for a possible contamination. The owner and staff were great. They stated that the kitchen crew are new and learning

I could not wait to get home from Dallas to write a review of this wonderful restaurant. HUGE KUDOS to the owner Craig Vaught! His personall attention to our evening made us feel like a king and queen. He chose 3 wines to pair with 3 of his appetizers. We can recomment all 3: The Bruschetta, the Humus, and the Calamari was our favorite! We had 3 tastes of different wines: a white, a rose and a Bold Red. We especially enjoyed the light Chemin de Provance Rose and we got an extra glass of his Olema Cabernet Sauvignon to have with our scrumptious Filet Mignon! What a night! We will be back and hope to bring our Wine Club from our Winery in East Texas, Moody Family Wines. Thanks again Craig for a memorable evening. And our sweet attentive waitress Eridania Filpo was just GREAT!

They charged $6 for adding broccolini, another $6 for side veggies in my pesto pasta. Atleast mention they you are going charge this ridiculous amount to the dish price. When dish was served, it was practically swimming in olive oil! I had to dig pasta from oil. Disappointed!!! Paid so much got nothing.

Copper & Vine is a really nice restaurant that mixes fine dining with a casual experience in the Las Colinas neighborhood. The owner of the restaurant took our order and offered good suggestions. He raved about their Tiramisu and we wanted to try if for dessert. The starters we tried were well seasoned and flavorful. The pasta bowls come with breadsticks and is perfect for one. The bowls are not shareable but the flavors were excellent. Do try the tiramisu for dessert. It is highly recommended. Plenty of parking available in the strip mall. The restaurant offers beer, wines and cocktails with a full bar service. Pricing: Not an inexpensive restaurant but it s worth the money you pay. Will I return? : For sure!

Tonight I went with my fiancé to celebrate his birthday and our server was incredible - kind, accommodating, and funny - I wish I remembered to get his name. We had Grilled Shrimp Skewers on polenta cake (ate before I took a picture), KBC Spinach Salad with tuna, Alfredo Angel Hair pasta with chicken, and the Grilled Salmon. It was all delicious! We also had Creme Brulee, which I enjoyed (my Dad thought it was too sweet for him). Will definitely come back and recommend! Here s a quick (and mercifully toned down) overview: -steak was overcooked and had zero flavor. Do the beef some justice and add some salt and pepper at least. -broccolini was undercooked. It was a jaw workout to chew it. -fries were cold, soggy, and flavorless. They at least looked nice with some cheese and greens on top. -calamari was too salty but decent. Looks better plated than other places who make calamari. -crab cakes were well cooked and evenly spiced, as was the spinach. -bread was substandard. I d be willing to go here for the main draw of the place as a wine bar but if I want to spend on food what Pappadeauxs costs, it should be equally delicious. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen, which I understand happens at times; but please, do some quality checking prior to sending food out (to those dining in or door dashing). Again, I d be willing to go here for charcuterie and wine, but nothing more. I d be willing to bet they are excellent in that which they specialize. Hopefully the feedback is helpful.

We made a reservation for Valentines Day and glad we did! The dining room was absolutely full - not packed or overcrowded, mind you. Weve only been once before for my birthday and ended up being the only ones there. The quality of everything was just the same on Valentines Day as our first visit on an August weekday. The food was delicious! We split the Shrimp Skewers and a Kale salad (yum goat cheese!), then I ordered Angel Hair Primavera with Shrimp and my wife ordered the Tagliatelle Creamy Pesto with Salmon (which was AMAZING). For dessert we ordered the Fresh Poached Pear which was just as fun to eat as it was beautiful. Definitely a great lighter faire option. This is a win for date night or any special occasion. Don t even get me started with the desserts because they are all mouth watering delicacies! The service is beyond incredible! We will definitely be coming back regularly!

What a fantastic place! We randomly chose this place based on reviews and dropped in for our 36th wedding anniversary! Im so glad that we did! We were greeted by Craig with a warm and friendly reception and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there! The salmon plate was amazing, and Brody our waiter was so kind and friendly! We feel lucky to have found this amazing place even if by accident. Thanks to all of the staff for making our anniversary dinner one to remember!

From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. They made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the meal. The owner, Craig is absolutely amazing and brings great energy to the restaurant. Hayden, the bartender definitely makes great drinks!! This will definitely be a place I visit often!

They try very hard but both food and service fall short. The Caesar salad could have come out of a bag at Krogers and the bolognese was tasteless. I wish what appears as a mom and pop enterprise well and hope - should we ever go back - they figure it out and succeed

Cooper and Vine is the most delicious, home made Italian food ever!! Me, my Fiance, and mother in law crave it at least once a week. The owner greets us right at the door and always takes care of us. I love that the menu is smaller and has only the essentials. The breadsticks that come with the pasta dishes are to die for. Go try it now!

My husband and I were in the market for a great cheeseboard so we Googled an area that was convenient and found this GEM! The manager was so friendly as he welcomed us and even accommodated our wish for a quiet table. Brenda, our server, was very attentive and the cheeseboard was fantastic! Very sizable, with 5 types of cheese, grapes, apples, pita, honey, pickled onions and olives. I had the onion soup and we finished with the moist citrus olive oil cake. Definitely worth a visit or if you live nearby, become a regular! The cheeseboard and offerings may change, but the warm familial service will be the constant that keeps you coming back. Thx!

The owner greeted us at the door with a warm smile and the food is the best youll find anywhere. I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and Ill order it again and again. Bruschetta appetizer was full of flavor. Ambiance is quaint and cozy, service is attentive, personal. Love having an outstanding independently owned restaurant (not a chain!) right here in our neighborhood. Try it out, you wont be disappointed! P. S. Save room for the Cappuccino Ice Cream Sundae!

Working in the Irving area This new restaurant has become my Go-to several times a week for lunch Such a cool vibe Elegant, yet casual for everyday dining with friends & co-workers, romantic for date night, or a perfect place to treat clients in Irving Hits all the marks! Truly have loved every dish I ve ordered Pesto pasta, garlic hummus platter, greek salad & two of their homemade soups roasted red pepper bisque & the French onion soup - which thus far best in TX! The grilled shrimp skewers & fresh bruschetta - both excellent! These chefs know how to bring out all the flavors & extremely fresh. Wonderful experience from the time you arrive and are greeted by the owner to the attentive staff. The full ambience of this restaurant is on-mark inclusive of the music playlist/tempo. This week I had a great time attending their wine tasting from the patio & beautiful large eat-up bar. As many do I Love great food and atmosphere, so now must share such a refreshing find!

What a nice change from typical music blaring restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed the quieter atmosphere where we could carry on conversation without shouting at each other. Craig, the owner, was very welcoming and pleasantly conversant during the evening as was Hayden, the bartender (great bar). The white table cloth tables give it the impression of a fine dining experience without the price of one. It was perfectly elegant. Our food was delicious and portions were plentiful. When I asked whether or not they had blue cheese olives for my martini, the answer was no, but Craig stepped in and said they would make them because they have gorgonzola. So they did. Great touch!! On Tuesdays they have tastings for a variety of whiskeys (Copper) and wines (& Vine). Looking forward to trying one of those. All-in-all we had a very enjoyable evening. We will be back.

We were introduced to this restaurant by a work colleague. And loved it. The place wasnt so busy that we felt rushed. Loved talking to the owner, had amazing service and delicious food and wine from a small, carefully thought out menu. An incredibly welcoming staff. Our waiter (Brenda) couldnt have been better. To call it a wine bar misses the point. It has an excellent full bar (Whiskey anyone) and a menu that is broader than typical wine bar fare. The prices are very reasonable - especially for the quality. And if you remember Sfuzzi you will recognize some dishes. Bellini, anyone? Grilled shrimp and tagliatelle with gorgonzola cream sauce for me, Greek salad with grilled shrimp for Madame. Cant wait to come back. A really handy Las Colinas, but away from The Music Factory, relaxed/relaxing spot.

This lovely place deserves to be full of guests! The greatest hospitality I ve had in a long time. My mother found this gem as it recently opened near her workplace.. and she s already been there multiple times. I ve been invited for lunch and finally made my way on Monday. From the moment we walked in until leaving.. the service & experience was warm, relaxing, and top quality. The owner greeted us and showed chivalry that was truly lavishing. He was extremely polite and such a gentleman. From small to big details like pulling out my chair when I arrived. We had the pesto pasta and kale salad.. all phenomenal and fresh. The waitress Brenda was attentive and even brought some warm garlic bread for me to bring home. The ambience is very charming.. Old World NY .. the music was all fire.. as if I was playing my own.. from Sade to Alicia Keys.. my heart (and stomach) left full. Thank you Copper & Vine.. hope to see you soon.
