What an awesome little park! Turns out every Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm they have food trucks open to the public. It was a beautiful day out and the food was amazing! I got an awesome burger from TINY HOUSE BURGER it was so good I forgot to take a picture, sorry. The fresh squeezed lemonade from DonutNV was perfect!! Check it out if youre ever around. Plus its free parking.

A beautiful plaza to walk around on a sunny day! I wish the water was a bit cleaner though, as there was visible trash in it, but there s trash in the ocean too so I can t complain .

Its an Event plaza in Irving near the lakeshore. Unmarked parking space available next to the event plaza. Its good for the evening walk and lot of sea gulls fly around the space. One of the awesome photo spots around Dallas/Irving area and a hidden gem. You can also reserve for private events as well. Have a nice visit.

2023 post: We came to support our friend again. The were way more stalls giving all sorts of swag. My kiddos had a blast checking out the food and watching the dragon boat festival. There are people flying kites. There is a stage with singing and dancing. I wish the event was just a few weeks later so the weather would be cooler but all in all, another great event at Levy event Plaza! 2022 post: We came to support a friend participating in the Dragon boat festival. We have never been to the Levy event Plaza but it was well organized. Parking was easy to find and there was security all around. Over all I almost forgot we still had Covid going around because it felt like such a normal event. While the Dragon boat festival is held at different venues, we will definitely come back to check out the Levy Event Plaza in the future.

I walk this park every Monday, spend about 2 hours in here enjoying the view. There s never parking since the construction workers take every spot there is. I see TLCA is trying to get the park greener but this heat isn t helping at all.

From what I can tell its a large open field surrounded by bissness. I was there for the Irving Sparks and Stripes event. To my surprise, there was at least 70 thousand people there. The event was great but the place itself I dont know. What goes on otherwise is it worth the trip there I can not say.

The Event Ground provided an unforgettable 4th of July celebration, boasting an impressive fireworks display and a standout drone lighting show. The latter was a delightful surprise - modern technology blended with traditional celebration, a treat to watch! The event ground was spacious, maintaining comfort despite the heavy turnout. But, do be prepared for crowds. The ground buzzed with people, and while the sense of community was heartening, a bit more organization could have helped manage the throngs better. One downside was the distant parking - it was quite a trek from the event site, making it slightly inconvenient for attendees. There was a shuttle service available but it wasnt able to handle the surge of people leaving the event ground at once after the show. Overall, the Event Ground delivered a memorable night of celebration, albeit with room for improvement in crowd management and parking. Recommended for the spectacular fireworks and drone show, but come prepared for a bit of a walk.

Great place to walk/run, chill, and or watch the sunset. The wide open space is perfect for social distancing. There s usually a few people out enjoying the view or even walking their dogs, so it always seems pretty safe.
