Called to ask about cost for immigration filing. Was told that I would have to pay $150 just to find out the cost. FOLLOW UP: John W. Lawit, LLC replied below saying thats a normal fee. Dont believe it! I called two other places, and neither one wanted to charge money just to talk to them. Called my ex-wife who has gone thru the immigration process with 2 relatives. Neither of their lawyers charged a pay-to-talk-to-us fee. The place we went with spent the 10-minutes it took to discuss our case, what we needed, and the fees. They didnt charge us a dime for the consult!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Lawit in person seven years ago. I was very impressed with his responsiveness and understanding of immigration laws. Mr Lawit and his staff are top notch. I had problems with my employer, for 3 years tried to make the green card happen until I hired Mr Lawit. His persistence and attention to detail made my green card dreams possible. Why settle for others when you can have an awesome lawyer who cares about your case? Mr Lawit and his staff reviewed my case, and developed a plan of action that worked. It was an uphill battle, and my employer was not too cooperative. This is a great team of lawyers office. I got married and filled adjustment status for my spouse in December 2021. The filled has been rejected and denied on January 2023. Very disappointed that this lawyer wouldnt see us without a vaccination and a mask. They violated HIPPA laws by even asking us and not knowing the law. Secondly, we drove 4 hours to see this lawyer and he shut the door in our face. The firm should have notified us of their mask requirements before we drove 4 hours to see them in their email. I wouldnt trust a lawyer who doesnt have confidence in his own mask and vaccination. Very disappointed in his irrational behavior and lack of history and truth regarding the PLANDEMIC.

Hired this Law Firm to file an N600 for US Citizenship and they did a fantastic job tending to my needs. Government is very slow so expect to wait a rather long drawn out process. Please note that this long process is not due to the attorneys office but it s on the USCIS end being that they are so far behind because of the work load they have. Bad vibes in a $100 Zoom call. Intuition is key in this life. No thanks. Response to owner: With all clarity. Having your wife call me back and berate me about a refund after being told I was not getting a refund was not the best way to go about the experience. I said it was ok that I was not getting a refund. Subsequently was called back and then offered a refund. I called and shared my experience with the rep on the phone (Mrs. Lawitt) and was explicitly told no refunds for a 5 min call where the lawyer seemed not have been told why I was in need of support. Initially I let the rep on the phone know what I needed from their office. When Jenny (Mrs. Lawit) called back to take the payment I advised her also of what I needed. At the time of the $100 (up to 30 min - $200 per hour) Zoom call I had to explain everything all over again. Mr. Lawitt introduced himself after being about 5 mins late and asked me what we needed. He proceeded to ask how many people lived in my home (not how many kids to you have), and asked how many people lived in our joint sponsors house. This gave me the impression that he may have been making assumptions... That being said the process of marriage status changes is not fun. I totally understand people do things to get citizenship that is not right. However, for me choosing an advocate that in my gut feels right is the best option for me. The response of the owner stating that I didn t understand his line of question comes across in a way of implied ignorance on my part. If that would have been the case I would have hoped to have been handled with more care and understanding. I sincerely wish all people associated with the organization blessing, grace and peace. All is well, no worries. Best $100 spent in a long time.

The Best Choice I could have made was to call John Lawit. My fiancé at the time was a Mexican citizen but I was unsure off all the paperwork and logistics that was involved so we could get married legally. All it took was that one phone call and they handled the rest! John W Lawit is really helped us in resolving our green card related issue for my newly born child. we are LPR parents and our child is born abroad. when we entered US , we had some issues in applying for permanent green card. Mr. Lawit was my attorney for my green card and my naturalization. My marriage was the basis of my immigration. As a court certified Arabic language interpreter who deals with attorneys all the time, I find Mr. Lawit to be by far the best immigration lawyer I have ever met. In fact most of the other immigration attorneys that I met on the job have been trained by Mr. Lawit.
