Cant stand this home depot. I asked 4 different associates for help regarding cutting lumber, and no one was able to help out or get someone to help me. One associate called the manager to get someone on the floor, but 30 minutes later no one showed. I understand the store might be short-staffed, but if there is no one available to cut lumber, then how about yall close that section and put a sign saying unavailable? Had me waiting there for too long for no one to show up. Unacceptable.

The 2 people at self check out today ran outside and accused me of stealing, simply bc they were chatting between the both of them and not paying attention, they sent me to a card only terminal, requested to void by raising my hand, they ignored me due to them gossiping so I switched registeres paid cash and 2 mins after both of them are running outside after me saying I stole the paper towels as I did not complete the credit card payment. The embarrassment of them running outside like am a thief screaming across the parking lot for me to return and pay for my items when I had already done so.

The store employees i dealt eith were store knowledgeable and courteous. Of the three items i was looking for, i found one. The shelf price of the item i purchased was less than half what the register rang up. I found a second item i was interested in and all they had was a high dollar $15 item in lieu of the cheaper $3.67 item.

This Home Depot closes at 8pm on Sundays. I walk in at 7:56 pm today to grab a box. The lines were extremely long as people were waiting to check out. An elderly Caucasian woman with silver hair completely stopped from assisting a customer to tell me that they were close when they indeed close at 8 PM! I walked by several other employees and no said anything about being closed. She did not say a thing to the person that walked in before me or the other gentleman that was behind me that was coming in. But I guess I stood out for her. Stop telling customers the establishment is closed during business hours when people are still walking around the store actively SHOPPING! Horrible treatment. And it was a real inconvenience for me when it was suppose to be a quick stop.

I used to go to the store and there were migrant men hanging around one part of the parking lot looking for work. Now they have gotten bolder and hang around the front of the store. It makes it uncomfortable and looks bad. Management should do something to where theyre not standing around throughout the parking lot in the front of the store. It makes me uncomfortable coming here

I went there in the morning before heading out to work, looking for some drills, went and get help to get them unlocked and ask Carlos B if he could help me, he did not answer ,so I asked twice and saw no reaction then I simply asked is that a yes or no? Then he replied in a guttural voice yes ,got my drills then another person asked for help and he simply ignored him, I had to complain to the lady at the register I said its too early to get this kind of attitudes.

My son and I are always in Home Depot on almost a daily basis. Me usually on the garden or fencing section and he is always doing things around the house. He said a long time ago its his favorite store They always have everything we need and the employees are so helpful. It amazes me that as large as the store is they are able to tell me exactly where to find what you are looking for. Theyre definitely well trained.

My Home Depot. Its too small and cramped and always packed with people of all kinds. I sometimes go to the North Irving/Valley Ranch store or the Euless store. They are bigger and less crowded, but its not the same feel. Im here at least a couple times a month.

This review is about a particular associate at the location in Irving Tx. I loaded my cart with hardscape material for two tropical aquariums that I am developing and moved on to find some light bulbs. Debra G., an associate who told me she had been shopping at HD for 20 years and working for them for 1, walked by headed toward some task when she stopped and pointed at the sand and lava bags I had on my cart and suggested that I meet her back in the garden center if I was interested in some crazy deals. I bit. She pointed at some glazed terracotta planters and showed me the price they were scanning at the moment. It s kind-of out of season for them but I felt like I just got some inside scoop that I couldn t pass on. I took 4 that would have totaled $300 on a normal day at HD and much more elsewhere. I paid $26 plus tax for the four of them. I Didn t need them and they barely fit in my Mini Cooper, But they matched my new house perfectly, and if I choose not to use them, I can easily resell them for a lot more than what I paid. Thank you Debra. I will gladly do whatever you want done to your hair any day! I wish I could find a car salesperson with her spirit.

I just returned from Lowe s in Euless because I couldn t find a heat lamp bulb at the Irving Blvd location. I have been at this store 3 times this week(M T W) and walked out empty handed for the 2nd time this week. You probably had the bulb in stock and a young man had called for someone to come to aisle 39 ( lighting department) . I waited for about 7 minutes. Apparently Someone was too busy to respond. Yesterday I couldn t get pipe insulation down from your upper racks. Again, I emptied my cart of other items and left the store! I ve been shopping at this location since 1998 and I could have gone to the north Irving location but I didn t want to take a chance on having another bad experience so I just went to Lowes . I parked my car at Lowes, walked to their lighting department, was greeted by an employee who WORKED in the department who asked if I needed help. I told I m what I was looking for and he walked two aisles away and returned with two options. I thanked him, selected my bulb, paid for it and was back in my car in less time than I wasted waiting for that SOMEONE guy who never showed up. I am so DONE with Home Depot. On a positive note I noticed a black woman yesterday helping a customer in the self checkout. She usually works in the garden department and has been there for several years. I urge you to give her a raise. She may be the only competent employee you have. Your management team has serious opportunities for improvement !

Terrible experience ordering online. My order was delivered damaged, then when I tried to return it I was told the system was down. I am currently waiting for a manager... Its 10 minutes later, they never showed up. Now I have to come back to try to return this. Half a day on a job that should have taken two hours, and its not even done! Bonus! They told me I could not leave it there, so I got to load the AC unit back in my car! Fun! Update! I called ahead and was told the system was working. When I arrived and lugged the unit into the store, I was told it was not working, and I would have to come back. I asked for a manager, and she told me she was the manager. Strangely, when I called corporate in front of her, she decided there was something she could do after all. Long story short, if you need help in a Home Depot, threaten to call corporate, otherwise you are SOL.
