They scratched my large maternity photo in multiple places. After I complained, they offered a discount and replaced the glass to make the many scratches/nicks less noticeable. Someone just picked the reframed photo up for me and it was noticeably forced into the frame so it is wrinkled down the sides. There is absolutely no way the framer did not notice this. I am a one and done older parent so now I have to find someone to repair it so its not like this forever...not really what I want to spend my time doing when I should be focusing on my newborn. If you have precious photos to be framed do not take them here. The quality of work is absolutely awful! If I could give no stars I would.

Had the worst experience here. Non existent customer service. Went to get a custom frame. The rude lady at the counter Michelle was assisting some customer. Waited for about 30 mins. She saw us, yet she spoke to the person behind us who came much later than us saying she ll see him next. Like we are invisible. Later, she calls the person behind us. When he mentioned we were in the line first, she attends to us with an annoyed look. Didn t give any information whatsoever. Racist behavior by Michelle. Hope the management addresses this. Left the place because we don t want a person like her touching the photo of someone dear to us.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my husband and I received at Michael s, specifically from an employee named Michelle. We went in to get a picture framed that was very dear to us, but our experience was marred by Michelles shockingly rude and racist behavior. We waited for nearly 30 minutes in front of the framing counter, and Michelle never acknowledged us. Even after a man who arrived after us came to the counter, she attended to him immediately and spoke to him with kindness, which made her behavior toward us even more glaring. When the other customer pointed out that we had been there first, she finally decided to help us, but with no sense of urgency or respect. Throughout the entire interaction, she offered no assistance or guidance while we struggled to find a frame for our picture. Her indifference, lack of professionalism, and discriminatory behavior were incredibly upsetting. The situation was so distressing that we ultimately decided to leave without framing our picture because we couldn t trust someone so terrible to handle something so precious to us. This experience left a very negative impression on us, and we were deeply hurt by the way we were treated. I hope this issue is addressed, so no one else has to go through what we did.

Came into Michaels today around 11ish and the gentleman working in the back near the picture frames, does not need a customer service job. He seemed annoyed when I asked for assistance measuring a certificate for a frame and when I came back later to ask the pricing on an item he told me he was busy blowing up balloons and to scan it myself on aisle 3, he was only inches away from the register.

This store has been my home store for all to do with paintings for several years . But this time ,I had purchased additional canvas for a charity event to help the homeless . Unfortunately few of the canvas was not used and I had to return . This store charged me for my return for not having a receipt . The store keeper failed to pull my receipt from my rewards membership and processed my return with a 5$ charge . It is not about the 5$ but it simply shows poor customer service and lack of understanding even when I am trying to explain their mistake of failing to communicate on the charges involved. It is a surprise that the store is charging a penalty for no receipt return for reward members too

My parents ordered a lovely custom frame from this location. However, the customer service was beyond terrible after purchasing it. The original invoice stated that the order would be ready around March 10th. Since today is March 9th, my parents attempted to call the store to follow up. Oddly, someone answered then hung up on them without saying Hello or Please excuse us . This happened 3 times! On the fourth try, the employee on the other line just yelled at my dad! The voice was female, and they were literally yelling loud enough for all of us to hear that our order is not ready. My dad took a deep breath and calmly asked, Excuse me, but we haven t given you our names or the order number yet. They responded, Oh, I know. You re calling for [random person s name]. Then we asked, How would you be able to know? We still haven t given our name or order, plus we never used this phone number to call the store or have it on the invoice. They then snapped, It doesn t matter. Your order is not ready to pick up. We then requested to cancel our order, and she went ballistic! This employee continued to yell while we remained quiet and calm. Luckily for us, we confirmed that this rude employee was Michelle. We then called our credit card company and explained our situation. They were able to give us a credit equal to the refund, and they let us know that this store is legally obligated to give us a full refund. They also let us know that it is our right to pick up the item anyway since we paid in full. Since we were in the area, we decided to pay a visit. When the employees in the front had a minute, we explained our situation. They immediately called the management, and the store manager sympathized with us. They got with the department manager, and this person was visibly irritated with us. Luckily, the store manager was still with us, so they begrudgingly gave us a full refund. Although we were able to nick this issue in the bud, we do not recommend purchasing from the frame section of this store or at the very least when Michelle is working. It is sad to state the obvious dont take your stress out on other people!

My rating has everything to do with the staff and manager of this location that keeps it organized. I didnt want to give it a lesser rating for my hoping to find everything I needed. It is what it is! This is a big kudos for the store being neat and clean and has a knowledgeable crew who is present and informed and cares about stuff being where it belongs and meets your eye and that is a rarity these days. Do not recommend BOPIS at this store. Ive had issues with my last 2 orders which is surprising as this is the closest store to the company HQ. One order was picked up while I was at work no where near the store, and when I went to inquire about it that evening they had put it behind a register for no apparent reason. Another time I was charged for an item that was missing from my order but I decided it wasnt worth my time or effort to go back for refund. Will go to the Southlake store from now on.

The customer service at this store is dismal. I placed an online order for pickup. Upon arrival at the store, they couldn t locate my order, which was not concerning. However, after dealing with FOUR associates, including the manager, my order could not be located. I found the item in the store and took it to the manager. I expressed concern about needing a receipt. After another long while and the involvement of two additional associates, I was given a dummy receipt. Later, I see that I was charged THREE times for my purchase. I called the store and was told to come back into the store and they would try to figure it out. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable. I plan to dispute the charges with my credit card company and take my business elsewhere in the future.I should have looked at the reviews because this is clearly a problem store now. I have frequented this location since it opened with no issues. There are now apparent leadership and training issues that are having an impact on business.

They must be hiring whatever they can get in there because they are the most unhappy, looking employees I have ever seen at a craft store. Everytime I go in I try to get them to smile and show me where things are and they just point with no words. Some young girl, black mask, black bagging jeans, black hair looked like I just bothered her day when I asked her where candles are. Please train your employees to at least smile and say hello. Your revenue is decreasing for your store as the reputation keeps on growing in the area about your employees. McDonalds, Walmart, Jack In The Box have nicer employees than you do. Train, retrain and evaluate each of them like leaders do.

Staff are rude! Went to get a couple of shirts and when it was time to check out the guys at the register didn t even looked up to see if there was customers waiting or nothing he was on his phone the whole time. Went to self checkout after the other customer was done. Had to come back for ONE shirt and was in at 8:59 the doors were still open and they kicked me out saying the store was closed. I told them I just needed one shirt and I knew where it was and everything still kicked me out. It close to my house but I rather drive far to a place that actually cares for the customers. If I had the option to give zero stars for this location, I would. VERY RUDE STAFF. No customer service whatsoever. I had to wait over 15 minutes for a cashier to show up to help me with a return. When I finally found a staff member and asked for help with a return, I was told to wait up front until someone showed up. The staff here act like they are doing customers a favor by assisting them. Customers should not have to feel that type of pressure from a cashier . Training needs to be implemented or a complete re-hiring needs to open. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION.

Just felt that I was forced to use the self check-out by the cashier. I told her that I would prefer to go to a cashier) I had over 20 bunches of flowers) and she responded with a disgruntled scoff sound. Another customer noticed too.. and I decided to go ahead and use the self/ checkout although it took me way longer to use. I felt like the cashier really was not in the mood to check anyone out today. Customers should not have to feel that type of pressure from a cashier . Fair prices, good layout, but often low stock on items. For example, only 3 or 4 sewing machine models available at any given point in time, and no size 6 brown yarn. Sometimes the stock shortages make sense to me (sewing machines), but others seem more like an oversight than a supply issue (brown yarn). Come here! Lots of coupons on receipts too.

Michaels has been open for approx 9mons. I have been numerous times. There are many reasons why I continue to visit. The Food, The Music, The Ambiance, Compliance with Capacity limits, The Staff and last but not least, THE OWNER. Hes there, hes approachable, friendly and always greets his guest with a smile. The Mgr PHEE, is a sweetheart. Rarely do you receive an email response from other establishments when you have a question. BUT PHEE...EVERY TIME Ive asked about something or needed clarification I recd a response within 24hrs. THIS IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...More than I can say about some of the Addison Venues. Anyway, Michaels is my GoTo spot and I hate to even do this review because Im selfish and dont want all yall coming...BUT, I have to give credit where credit is due....Michael Caldwell & Ms Phee are the DYNAMIC DUO OF EVENT VENUES.

The reservation process is a complete JOKE!! I made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 4 people. My friend was in town and wanted to see a live band and I thought this place would be great. I received a text the Tuesday before my reservation to confirm which I did. I even received a response. When we arrived I was told by the hostess that they were overbooked and did not have a table for me but we could sit at the bar. I asked why would my reservation not be honored and the hostess said they book 1 1/2 months out and as cancellations (if any) come in they will fill the slot with the next reservation. This was dumbest process I ve ever heard. I checked reviews on open table she I see this is a common thing here so I won t waste my time trying to come back here.
