Nice place to have a leisurly walk in the evening but a bit dirty sometimes. There is a playground for kids. The lake in the middle is nice with ducks and turtles swimming around.

Its a beautiful park. Great for walking, relaxing and enjoying the scenery.However I couldnt enjoy my walk around the park because I had to constantly keep looking down dodging droppings from wildlife. I see workers around the park keeping the park clean but is there a way someone could keep the walk paths clean?

Nice, clean walk by the water. Mostly flat. Lots of animals! Today I saw lots of ducks, geese, seagulls, nutria, and turtles. Dog-friendliness: You can bring your dog here if you clean after them. It isnt too crowded. Picnic area: There are many benches where you could enjoy a picnic lunch, though few tables.

Playground: There is a play area for kids with few swings and slides. Remains popular and crowded on most days of the week during evenings. Toilets: No restrooms in the area. Dog-friendliness: Its a dog friendly park but leash law applies i.e. your pet needs to be on a leash at all times. Youd find many people bringing their dogs for a walk here. There are also lots of ducks and beavers in the park - so if you have a reactive dog then its best to be a little extra careful. Picnic area: There is a picnic area with a barbecue grill, and plenty of benches

Nice little park to walk, jog around the pond. Theres a monument of Mahatma Gandhi, one playground and plenty of benches, one picnic table, small basketball court. I did not see a public bathroom but I believe there is a porta- potty in the wooden shaded baracade by the playground. The water fountain was not working. Lots of ducks, geese, pigeons and turtles around the pond. No parking lot but you can park on the streets around the park. Just make sure it doesnt say No Parking, No Standing, No Stopping.

Nice park with kids playing during evenings, elders and fitness enthusiasts walking along the path and bird lovers feeding birds with food grains. I felt the park deserves good maintenance. There are enough benches to sit alone or with friends and chitchat.

Its in Irving TX. It has Ghandhi Memorial Plaza inside this park. It has a very big lake full of duck, fishes, turtles etc. Jefferson Park Trail is a 1.2 mile highly trafficked loop trail located near Irving, Texas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and trail running and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Toilets: It has a mobile rest room. Nothing much to mention. Picnic area: It has picnic area for children with swings and slides. There are also benches. It has basketball court.

Original name was thomas jefferson park..but now people identify it as gandhi park ..you can see gandhiji statue ..it was a good place to walk and take your kids for playing and cycling..! You cannot sit on the grass and have a picnic like atmosphere..but there are benches where you can sit and relax..must go in the evenings..gooooooood atmosphere ..you can make many friends..! A very calm and peaceful place for kids to get refreshed with lot of options to play themselves and get to know about new kids as most of the people staying in the surroundings will gather at this place after the noon temperature comes down. You see many turtles and fishes in the lake. The park is very much connected and is in the midst of many communities nearby. Very well maintained park with a lake and a walking track. Good place for walking both in the morning and evening. Number of seating facilities are available for senior citizens to take rest. Well maintained play area and very well used by the kids. Pleasent to watch the ducks, herons, doves, turtles and nutrias/beevers. People use to spendtime and enjoy fishing in the lake. There is a Mahatma Gandhi memorial plaza in this park.

This is a beautiful park. It has a playground for the kids. A great walking path to get some fantastic outdoor exercise or to just take a leisurely stroll. The wildlife is enjoyable too. The turtles & doves love to be fed. There is also a very tasteful Gandhi Memorial that is definitely worth checking out. Even though this place is busy, it doesnt feel crowded & its not loud. Its a very relaxing place. I definitely recommend going. Playground: Great place for kids to safely play. Dog-friendliness: As long as your dog is on a leash they are allowed. Please dont forget to clean up behind your dog.

Great Place with a Lake and Park for children. Huge open place to have picnics. you can see few birds and even spot a turtle or two if you are lucky. Has a Gandhi Statue and hence it is also famous as Gandhi Park. Good walking trail but the road is quite uneven . We had difficulty managing our toddler stroller at numerous places on the trail . Not advisable for walking with Kids Strollers

Always loved this park when I was living in hidden ridge and after I moved out of hidden ridge. Beautiful place and track to have a stroll at any point of time in a day. It is so nice to see ducks, Geese, Nutria, turtles all sharing the same lake Gandhi statue is a great plus to this park
