Took my daughter here for her birthday. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The food was great, especially dessert, the Pecan Bread Pudding. The drinks and steaks were great as well. We will go back.

Used to be the go to for a steak you could cut with a fork. Guess things change. Update decided to give it one more shot I can say its the last. By far the worst Tbone for the money. I assume they are cutting corners where they purchase the meat. My steak has so much gristle that it seemed half of it could not be eaten. The service was to notch and our waitress did a wonderful job so her tip was based off of that she had nothing to do with the food

HORRIBLE!!!!!! Called to report my service and the manager was very very rude and disrespectful Spoke to the assistant GM, and he tried to down play my complaint. Its a Landry property so the service is very hospitable. The food is typically pretty good, comparable to a place like Outback or Longhorn. The atmosphere is not at all intimate but instead family friendly and lively, so if you are hoping to have a serious conversation this is probably not the place, but laughs and friendly chatter are the norm.

My 1st time in Houston and it didnt disappoint. Drinks at the bar were good, they had the Olympics and preseason football on which was perfect. Wait was about 30 mins but food was excellent. Waygu strip steak was the most perfect steak Ive ever eaten. Would definitely go back on my next visit.

The three locations we visited, Beaumont, Humble and New Caney were so noisy that eating was not an enjoyable experience. All the customers were having to shout over the music as it was extremely loud to the point that we could not understand our wait person nor could they understand us. The staff spent more time playing with their cell phones than checking on their customers. My steak was cold and baked potato hard as a rock. I can no longer recommend this chain of restaurants because they give me a headache waiting for our food.

Humble Saltgrass is amazing. Our server was attentive and friendly. I had a few drinks so for the life of me I can t remember her name. But she was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, I wanted to go back the next day. The crab cake was a little soggy for my taste, but the flavor was bursting. The filet was perfectly cooked. The carrot cake was amazing, but my favorite is the wedge salad and brussel sprouts. -1 star cause it is freezing in there. But nothing a jacket can t fix. Bring a sweater or jacket and enjoy great food with good people at Saltgrass.

Was brought here for my birthday. I havent been to many saltgrass locations before. This is probably the second Ive ever been. The atmosphere is uncanny, the service was great. This is the day after hurricane Beryl it in saltgrass was open, we are grateful that Aaron came from another store that was closed to help with the flow of hungry people looking for a comfortable place to have an amazing meal. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious We had chicken fried steak sweet potato fries a hats ribeye and great garden salad. The ranch dressing is delicious and its well worth the stop. Im only sorry to say that Aaron may not be your server because he was just filling in from another store but the rest of the staff Im sure is great as well.

Went to celebrate our Anniversary. My husbands food was good. My food was dry and cold. I had ordered the brisket tacos. Each taco had 2 corn tortillas glued together with cold cheese. The pickled cabbage was just raw cabbage. Chipotle sauce was sparse. Waited 5 or so minutes to ask for more sauce and maybe some jalepenos to add flavor and moisture. Took taco apart and reconstructed it so it was edible. The manager came over to see if we needed anything else. After I told her the food was really dry and now cold, she looked at me as if I were a whiner. Seemed very unconcerned. She asked if I wanted my dry taco reheated...really? We wont be back. $60 later for a meal that was unappealing and dry as dust.

My experience at Salt Grass for my birthday, May 22nd, was delightful. All of my 22 guests arrived and were seated on time. The atmosphere was positive throughout the restaurant and amongst the employees. Our waiters and waitress were SUPERB. The food was so good I came back the next day, took an Uber, and sat at the bar for happy hour 4-7pm. Salt Grass doesnt owe me anything. Great service all around.

I cant say how the food was because I was NEVER acknowledged to order! We sat there for 20 minutes waiting to be addressed by any member of the bar staff! When seated the lady gave us our menu and even water but she was leaving and told us another member would help us! The blonde haired bartender addressed EVERY person around the bar EXCEPT us! I spoke to the manager and made him aware of the situation prior to leaving! And to think that I made a big deal to eat dinner here to be treated as such! I will not visit this location again! My fiance took me here for Mothers day and we dined at the bar. The food was great as always, but our waitress Kamryn, must have been having a bad day. Today, our service was provided by James. He was excellent. However, the food wasnt. My T-bone was loaded with gristle and fat and not flavorful at all. After watching this female staff member spill the food, she took it back to the kitchen, repositioning on a clean plate, and she brought the same food back less than 2 minutes later. One of my table mate complained through his entire meal how tasteless his meal was. The other table mate showed her displeasure by eating less than half of her meal. The room was drafty. So drafty, it littery blew my napkins. I thought I was sitting under a fan. I really wanted a decent steak. The one I had at a Mexican restaurant across the freeway a week ago was much better tasting with higher quality of meat for almost half the price.

We arrived on Sunday night with a table for 7 at around 6:30 pm. They were busy, and it took an hour to be seated. We got bread & drinks and took a minute to review the menu, then placed our order on 3 separate group tickets. Due to how busy they were, we did have to wait a bit for our food - ranging from steak, double porkchop, country fried steak, salads & range rattlers. Once it arrived, we enjoyed our meals and the staff was attentive. Could have been a bit better on confirming our complete order was received- but they did make it right. So overall, great food, just be patient.

I wanted to publicly recognize our waiter Armando last night who made for a very enjoyable dining experience at this location. Not only was he attentive, and funny, but he truly seemed to care that we enjoyed our dinner. Armando went above and beyond to provide us with great service and a friendly attitude. It was his vibrant and spirited personality who made our day end on such a positive note. People like him should be praised and recognized for the light they carry. Though my kids are too young to understand the importance of great customer service they made it a point to let us know that their dinner was fun. On the way home my youngest confessed to have written thank you on his menu that he left behind. Oh yeah by the way the food was delicious!

Havent been here in any years..decided to try something different besides the salmon. Was craving a fatty steak..tried Pats Ribye and it was great. Added the crayfish shrimp topping and was pretty good..cheesy texture but stillgood. Bread was good as always. I rarely eat steak but this was Great. To go service. Order came out pretty fast and the lady taking to go orders answered my questions which is rare these day. I appreciated that and tipped her just because of that.

Amazing staff, great atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food. If you go here, try the fried mushrooms. I tried almost all of the steak and the chicken and I have never had a bad meal!
