We decided to try this delicious restaurant and we were not disappointed. We ordered the crab rangoon which was the best I have had since being in the state of Texas since most places dont even make rangoon anymore. Usually, its puffs. But we then had to try the Ramen and the sushi boat. Definitely a hidden gem, we will be back! FYI: grab that TNT roll...

This was a great little spot. My flight got delayed so I came here to kill some time and eat some good ramen before I left. The food was great and the place a fun atmosphere not to mention anime playing on TV for the kids. The service was a little lacking. They barely checked on me and I had to wait a good while for refills. The food was very good though.

This is a comfortable place to go and be relaxed and be with family. There are 3 70 tvs hung high near the ceiling, with 2 playing what appeared to be Japanese anime and the other something nature like with animals. It was behind me, so I didnt see much. The food is delicious bone soups, sushi, and some excellent sides that compliment and complete your meal. And they also serve filtered water! Hopefully, you can eat with the chopsticks they provide as so to truly feel the authentic flavors coming out of the kitchen of Kami Ramen & Sushi.

I cant say enough about our experience at Kami. We had the spicy creamy ramen, which was outstanding. 1 veggie sushi roll, 1 cucumber roll and spicy garlic edamama which were delicious. And a order of veggie tempura which came with the best tasting sauce. The service and atmosphere made our experience one of the best weve had in a long time. All our food options were vegan. Definitely will eat there again.

I was in town for work for a day and picked this place due to high ratings. Went around 8pm last night, had miso, spicy edamame and 2 rolls of sushi (along with sake). The restaurant was a bit busy but they sat me right next to the screaming baby and with great acoustics of empty walls, I enjoyed my dinner to that but thats no big deal, babies shriek all the time. The problem is by 3am I was on the floor of my hotel bath room contemplating whether I should go to the ER, call them or just give up and die. Im not sure what exactly got me so sick but it was the only thing I ate that day (aside from early breakfast). Please check the quality of your foods, especially the raw ones. I understand the danger of eating sushi but never have I ever experienced food poisoning like that before. My stomach isnt sensitive either but that experience scared me.

Stopped in for dinner and to meet my family and we were not disappointed service was excellent the food was delicious and everything was fresh. We all ordered two different types of rolls the presentation was very nice and they were constantly asking us if we needed anything else, we also ordered two appetizers and both were really good. Its nice to see another Japanese restaurant in humble seeing as there arent very many options. Next time we will try the ramen.

We drive an hour and a half to Kamis when we want ramen. Their broth is rich and delicious...so is everything else they put in the bowl as a matter of fact. The service is always amazing. And on a personal note. My sons wallet fell out of his pocket in our booth and he didnt notice until hours later. Called Kami and a staff member had found it and they were holding it for us. NOTHING WAS MISSING. Good food, good service and integrity. Whats not to like about this place? Oh, the Shaggy Dog roll is on point too. Vegetarian options: The spicy veggie ramen is my wifes go-to dish at Kami.

Nicely decorated ramen/sushi restaurant in the plaza across from Deerbrook mall. We were seated immediately, and the waitress was warm and friendly. We had the ramen combo with pork bun and Thai tea, both of which were good. Ordered the tonkotsu black ramen and spicy chicken ramen which were well flavored and the portions were HUGE. Will definitely be coming back to try the sushi.

Ive been to Kami Ramen a few times now and have enjoyed it every single time! The portions are massive! The food is very fresh and high quality. My favorite ramen is the Kami Goyu. I add extra spicy chili oil to mine. The staff are attentive, and the restaurant is always clean. Highly recommend this place to any ramen lovers.

I wanted to give it 5 stars just from the service, but the food lacked just a bit to go all in on 5. Dont get me wrong, it was good and my daughter loved it(super picky Ramen eater)! I had the slurp up cilantro Ramen and I just felt like it was lacking some more flavor. My daughter commented that the dumplings needed to be more crispy, but she is picky lol. I can only review this spot based off my takeout experience. Yesterday my wife and I had experienced a power outage here in North Houston and decided to treat ourselves to some Ramen and Takoyaki! We each got a ramen bowl, the same one, the Kami Goyu bowl that comes with New York Strip steak, and a single order of Takoyaki (creamy fried, filled octopus balls-don t knock it till you try it!). The Goyu ramen was nice and mildly spicy (for someone who doesn t eat spicy food, it s VERY spicy) and the steak was nice and tender. It also has some seaweed/Nori with it as well and that signature Ramen egg! It did however have a good bit of oil in the creamy broth, which we didn t really like. The Takoyaki was alright, it had very small pieces of octopus in it and each ball was mainly filled with the batter, so not enough meat in my opinion compared to other ramen places we ve had. Although we didn t dine in, the atmosphere seemed very inviting, clean, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the food, although it is pricey. But hey, it s hot Ramen while your power is out at home-I ll take it! 4 stars because of not enough meat in the Takoyaki, a good bit of oil in the ramen and also our lack of dining in. We only had the takeout experience. I would get it again, but I d try something different next time.

I love the ramen here. We lived in Japan and this as close to the authentic Japanese ramen you will try here in the Houston area. Kid-friendliness: My kids love it here. Went to this place yesterday with my friend and her daughter and I must say I wish I could rate this place a negative 100 stars. It was a highly disappointing experience. We entered the restaurant and were greeted by the door chime because no one came to see who had just walked in. We stood there for up to 3 minutes until we started looking around to see if anyone was at work that day. The manager who we didn t know was the manager at the time came to the front but completely ignored everyone and went back to do more to go orders. I feel if they are only concerned with to go orders this place should not be a brick and mortar. The food truck option is more suitable to limit complaints like these because what happens next was utterly ridiculous. We were finally seated and for 20 minutes watched others around us be seated and served. We were not once offered a mere glass of water. The manager notice our growing impatience and motioned the waiter to help us and he did not. He still waited other tables instead. My friend went to see the manager and asked why were we not being seen. The manager then made up an excuse and asked her for our drink order there. She insisted it be taken at our table with our order. The waiter finally came after 5 more minutes with a dry delivery as if he didn t want to serve us so we just politely left. I would most definitely not recommend this place to anyone, especially young black professionals as they do discriminate.

The Kami ramen and the bun, OMFG is sooooooooo delicious. I can helped. It does arrive fast to my door step with dash s and intact. Thank you so much for making the place close by. You have the best Japanese ramen I had ever tried. I m obsessed and I had tried almost all of them and now I am doing it again and extra ingredients to find my favorite but is been hard.

I had the strawberry green tea, avocado roll, and spicy cream vegan ramen. Overall very tasty, fun atmosphere, amazing service! I believe I had Cynthia as my server and she even offered to get me ice when she noticed my ramen was too hot for me. She really paid attention to details. For me, the greens were too long and stringy in the ramen so I had to be careful but all the food was tasty! I m excited to try other dishes here in the future! There was Pokémon and Naruto playing so that was fun for me too! I loved the mt. Fuji artwork, the lanterns, and Asian drinks! Vegetarian options: Avocado roll Spicy creamy vegan ramen They have dishes marked vegan!

Kami started out really solid and its only gotten better. Ive been here multiple times and I think the ramen has actually gotten tastier... Certainly the best ramen North of beltway 8 on the East side. The sushi is solid, too, but sushi up here is a little more competitive and I dont think this would be my go to sushi place. That said, its an excellent ramen accompaniment or if youre with a group that wants different things. Would absolutely recommend.

Sushi rolls are alright, the sweetie roll was the best that we got. The 3 roll special was a better price than individually getting the rolls. The salmon sashimi on the other hand is very good, the nigiri had too much rice that it covered the salmon too much. The spicy miso ramen was good as well, I d get it again. It was extremely humid and uncomfortable when we came in but we asked them to turn on the air and it was way better, so I appreciate that.

A great find nearby IAH! My brother and I had a great dinner here! We got the spicy tonkatsu ramen - soooo spicy but very flavorful! As for sushi, we tried their Akuma, TNT, and Red Dragon rolls. Their rolls were beautifully presented on a wooden boat and each roll was delicious! Service was very attentive, and we were never left with empty glasses of water. Would return to try more items!

The restaurants decoration and design is very stylish and appealing to the eye. Our server was very polite and helpful in ordering our food. The menu has a variety of ramen and sushi to choose from. Some smaller items seemed like they were marked a bit higher for their size. Noticed some typos on the menu. Not unusual. The dishes came out at different times and not at once, they had a lot of staff too so they could help bring dishes but they were standing at the back counter looking at the rest of the restaurant so our server brought them out when they were ready. The booth we sat at was comfortable but wasnt used to them being movable lol I guess thats a nice thing to have if your customers need a bit more space and not feel so cramped next to their table. The kids ramen had a lot of green onions in it and it kind of overpowered the ramen broth that didnt have a lot of flavor. The chicken udon looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a bit, the portions of udon noodle and vegetables were great. The flavoring of the noodles was ok not amazing. The chicken was a let down. Chicken was overcooked, dry, and the cut style was unusually skinny like julienne. Took the leftovers home to make it more appetizing, but to my surprise I had found a skinny bone in one of the toothpick chicken pieces I dont like to see small businesses fall short of being a big success and I want Kami to be a wonderful spot for everyone to enjoy. I can see that they put a lot into it but a restaurant doesnt thrive if their food isnt delicious and their staff needs communication between each other. They could be great. Almost there.

No need to read reviews! Just head over to this place if you re looking for some good sushi, wudon noodles or dumplings! This place literally tops my regular Japanese sushi place. As soon as you walk in, the place is so cute! Very neat and clean! The staff are very attentive and friendly. My family and I will definitely be coming back!

Normally I dont review places, but Kami is to die for. I saw them advertising on Insta before opening and kept tabs on them, it has become my favorite spot for ramen in all of Houston now. There are good food options for anyone on any dietary needs and has the best curry ramen I think I have ever had. Its a little far out from me, but I find myself making trips out there specifically for Kami as much as I can (1-3 times a month!) Cant recommend then more and the service is always quick and attentive as well!

I got the Humble sushi roll and the Kami Gayu Ramen with tofu added in. Hands down one of the best things Ive ever eaten in my life. Definitely will be coming back sooner than later. The inside is very spacious and I love the look it has as well..and they had Pokémon playing on the TV !

Probably the best place to grab either Sushi or Ramen. Located in a nice shopping plaza center in Humble, TX. From the outside it might look deceiving, but once you get inside, it probably one of the nicest looking sushi/ramen places I have been in; just wish Ive taken pictures to show for it. Ramen was my main search, but I also ended up getting some to-go food too for lunch tomorrow (or maybe dinner lol). The ramen was amazing & very delicious. So many options & prepared very well too. Every sip, slurp, or bit was flavorful. Sushi was also on point & the portions are very adequate per price. Sushi select pieces come 2 per single order; which is nice because Ive been to places were you get one piece for the same price. Also enjoyed a large hot Sake as well & it too was very delicious. I did talk myself into also getting a couple of pork buns too, which are delicious & well made. Staff was good, but I sat at bar seating area as it was just myself. Overall, this place is really excellent. Im jealous not to have a place like this in my state & location. Dont hesitate to go or order from here. Would recommend going, but surely wont be disappointed if you call in an order for pickup either. Their food will make you a happy fat panda in the end.... At least thats how I felt after devouring my Spicy shrimp ramen bowl. The wait staff was nice and food was served timely. The aesthetic was fantastic, but the food was awful. The dragon roll had such a small amount of eel stuffed inside of it that we could even tell it was there, it was drenched in sauce, and the rice was warm. Between the rice and the sauce it was completely falling apart and its taste was compeltely overpowered with sauce. The sweet and sour also had a weird flavor. I wouldnt eat here again and recommend sushi lovers who enjoy regular bowel movements to stay away.

This ramen restaurant has a bright happy vibe that attracts fans of Japanese culture. The eggs here tend to be large with jammy and soft yolks. If you like eggs in your ramen, this is the place. No question this places makes good ramen and the staff are awesome!
