I am very disappointed with this la Quinta trip normally I have a very good experience with them but this time they gave us 2 rooms at a different hotel that we didnt even order for very sad about that and the food Is very overpriced and the service people were no help at all we payed for the double queen 2 of them and instead got put in a cheaper hotel with 2 one queen rooms and no reimbursement very disappointed 1 star EDIT :the room stank when we enter and there were atleast 3 roaches.

Our house almost flooding and we evacuated. We have 6 pets (2 cats, 3 dogs) so we needed to find a pet friendly hotel for a reasonable price for a few days. I can t stress how amazing the Laquinta was. They by far have the lowest costing pet policy. We called around to several places. They were very understanding and so kind. The staff (especially the night staff) Mrs. Diane and there was a black man and a black woman (so sorry I didn t get their names because they deserve recognition:/ ) who were extremely sweet and helpful as well. The hotel was clean, spacious (I got the executive suite) and the breakfast was hot and fresh and plenty of it despite them being very booked and busy. Plenty of space to walk the dogs around outside as well. I highly recommend them.

A well-maintained property that had friendly service and good appearances. I think its a well-run hotel. However, I woke up in the morning after check-in and turned on the faucet: yellow water! Insane. The toilet water was also yellow (yes, I flushed several times) and so was the showers. I immediately called the front desk, who then sent a maintenance man. The maintenance man said this was normal... interesting. I dont like washing my hands in yellow water; I made sure to call the front desk once again. The front desk staffer came up herself and said that this is a bit of a commonly occurring issue, especially in some of the other rooms, and that the immediate fix is to let the water run for 30 minutes or so until it clears up. Well, I did just that, which cleared the water flow and I had no other similar run-ins for the rest of my stay. But that posed a lot more concerns internally. What causes this yellow water to appear? Something in the hotels tanks? Are the pipes clean? Anyway, service was great and cleanliness was par with hotel standards. Just a weird observation with the water that I dont think should be left unattended.

We stayed here for three nights to visit family for Christmas. The prices were higher due to the holiday, which is understandable, but the experience was not worth the cost. Check in was fine, but upon entering the room we noticed a moldy smell on the entire floor of the hotel. There were holes in the wall of our room where a picture frame used to be, our fridge was broken and we had to be brought a new one. However, when the new fridge was brought to us, it did not fit in the designated space and had to be plugged in and left against the wall. Our shower also had no hot water. Later that evening we then found roaches in the bathroom and requested to move rooms. The remaining two nights were just okay at best but still not worth the price. The woman who checked us out of the hotel informed me her manager/owner was on vacation out of the country but would be told of our experience and refund us the cost for our first night. It was been almost 4 weeks now and I have yet to see any refund or call from a manager. Hopefully, this review will reach the right people who can rectify this situation. 0 stars - pick a different hotel. Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews.

The room smelled so bad of musty mildew. There are roaches. Mildew in shower. I think the other main source of mildew was in the ac unit. At one point I had it off with an air purifying candle lit and it helped a lot. But I got hot and had to turn the unit back on and I did not enjoy my stay in this hotel AT ALL. Oh and Keurig and refrigerator in room did not work. And yes like the other comments mention - headboards look disgusting. Don t stay here without a n95 mask, a pest swatter and some Lysol and Clorox wipes

Highly Disappointed, Hotel staff was very rude and we believe they further profiled me and my hispanic boyfriend. Upon arrival cleaning staff refused to give us any extra committees because we were only 2 people which we were fine with. 15 minutes prior to checkout staff falsely accused me and my husband of smoking in a non smoking room. The attendant named Rochelle said the fire department was on there way and we had to evacuate. when we demanded for our questions to be answered all she can say is that we were lying and their system alerts them. Mind you we gave a 100$ Deposit and Cleaned up the room before departure. We believe this was some sort of trick to profit off our security deposit since we paid in cash. We requested for staff to show evidence of smoking or co2 emission alert and they refused.

I stood here for 3 days. As soon as we arrived we were taken care of by receptionist Sallie. She was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. I left some clothes behind by accident in my hotel room, and she walked us through the process of getting it back. We were definitely happy with her service. Absolutely disgusting! We had to book this for a last minute trip with kids for a wedding at a Atascocita venue. The ONLY saving grace was the woman at the front desk. I m not sure of her name but she was the kindest, most accommodating individual ever. We walked into a stained DISGUSTING couch, bugs on the floor, grime on the bathroom drain floor, hairs in our sheets, grease on the headboards, poop in the toilet. I have stayed in MANY hotels and this was the grossest!!!!! We got moved to a different suite that was slightly better however I still lined every single item in (hopefully) clean sheets juat so that my kids could walk around. We had limited time to move due to a wedding: otherwise we would of been gone! The worst part was the sweet lady at the front tried to get us a discount and management denied it. Absolutely positively disgusting! I will never stay at this hotel again!

I m really shocked that this hotel s reviews are as high as they are. I recently was displaced from my house as we had some water damage to my home. So it definitely wasn t a vacation. Although the staff is friendly & the breakfast was really tasty, the hotel itself is run-down. I do understand that it s pet friendly so maybe that s why everything is beat up? I also had pets & toddlers with me during my 2 night stay so I didn t get to take photos to show a good description. Rooms are very dim, all the furniture is chipped/scuffed & I mean pretty badly. My curtains were stuck shut. I noticed in one of the rooms (I had 2 separate rooms) the trim around the door to the bathroom and closet were a metal of some sort and were rusty and off-putting. Paint chips on the walls, doors, everything. The pool water itself was clean but the edge around the pool was grimey and looked like it hadn t had maintenance done in a long time. The beds were comfortable. I give it that. I was on the 2nd floor and immediately after exiting the elevator you can smell old water damage. It s very obvious especially since the hallways are hot, it made the smell worse. I ve been at other La Quintas and none were like this. Also, it s worth mentioning that there are signs posted saying that this location isn t equipped with generators, and that if power should go out, it s just out. Nothing would work. Elevators included. It probably was the least nice hotel I ve ever stayed in & I m not really high-maintenance. It wasn t what I hoped for, but it just did the job.

My 3rd stay with 4 kids, they had a blast. The employees are so very sweet. Really go above and beyond with kindness. Room was clean, had extra towels for the pool, great location! Good price for what you get! This stay pool wasnt clean, no toilet paper in the bathroom where pool was. Otherwise it was a good stay! We will be back. Food and drinks: Great breakfast! Something for everyone. The lady doing breakfast is so sweet and helpful. She really tries to cover all the basics.

We arrived Saturday afternoon for a 2 night stay. Sunday when I got in shower there was no hot water and had to shower with super cold water. Monday we checked again and water still cold. I gave them a 4 star for a couple reasons. There was no bacon for breakfast, no good seasoning in the kitchen and the toilet paper was not good. Other than that it was a delightful stay. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. The pool was closed but the staff had no problem opening it up for us and allowing us to swim even though it was cold. The ice machine was broken on floor 1 and 3 but 2 & 4 worked great.

I booked a weekend in this hotel because it was pet friendly on the policy it clearly states no extra charges and I have pictures and screenshots to prove and when I was charged it included a $25 per day fee for pets the front lobby lady said they always do this I am sorry please try to contact our manager Nicole I waited for her on Monday check out 3 hrs in the lobby because she was on a business call then they told me she could not assist me they gathered all my info and I have been calling morning afternoon and evening ever since Monday and Nicole the manager in charge has not been able to assist me with this charges when it clearly stated on my reservation that no extra charges were going to apply Very disappointed that La Quinta has this kind of management that does not return customers calls to give information about applied fees to the charge

Rodney was the most unprofessional and not so willing to honor the online prices because of an app issue but so much as raised the price by almost $20 higher and then proceeded to explain that the military rate wouldn t be much to even consider. Very nice hotel, quiet, clean and accommodating. Difficult to find as the sign for the hotel is overwhelmed by the sign for the auto parts store, it s very easy to miss. Only issue of concern was when I got up to take the dog outside someone had propped the back door open with a rock and the staff was not aware of it despite numerous cameras. My suggestion would be to put sensors with alarms on all exterior doors in case they are left open or hire security to walk the property at night. Safety is a number one concern for me and the reason we switched from the Best Western up the road. It seems that the hotels in Texas need to realize Texas isn t what it used to be. Safety: Felt safer than the Best Western down the road. We moved hotels after one night at the BW and although more comfortable and felt safer, the incident with the propped open exterior door is of concern

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at LA Quinta-Atascocita. We stayed in a king-sized one bed room that was clean & spacious, with a roomy sitting area next to the bed that had an extra chair & desk. It was also furnished with a large screen TV & mini fridge. We were able to make use of the laundry room as well. It was $1.50 a load & although the room smelled of mildew, our clothes came out smelling clean. They are pet-friendly & breakfast was included. Breakfast (7-10 am) was eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, cereal, pastries, waffles & juice. There was also a 24 hour coffee & hot chocolate bar. A small store with snacks & drinks can be found by the check in area. This hotel is conveniently located a walking distance from Walmart & several restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Problem 1: The room my sister in 1 checked into was not clean. Someone had vomited and the smell was still lingering. Problem 2: We switched rooms. As we are entering our new room, the room is already filled with people in it. We needed up having to switch rooms again. Problem3: The key would not work for the next room that we were put it. There were a lot of back and foward trying to resolve the issue. Our shower had lots of mildew. Overall, the stay was not enjoyable and we ended up checking out the next morning.

Stayed in suite 420 and the smell of wet dirty carpet filled the room. Lightning is poor. The couch was nasty. We placed sheets on it as well as part of the floor to walk on it. Breakfast was subpar. Checked out after 3 nights into our 8 day stay. Would not recommend this hotel until a major renovation is completed. Only positive is the staff. They were all very friendly and we could see that we were not the first to ever complain about the smell of our room. The lady at the front desk described the smell to us once we complained about the smell.

This hotel is horrible. They engage in illegal activities with dirty cops. I am taking legal action against them and will be contacting other local authorities. I ve tried to reach out to the General Manager but the general manager doesn t care. I will reaching out to corporate, my attorneys, and probably internal affairs. Place needs many improvements, rooms need repairs and we had to move rooms DURING the middle of our stay because of some repair issues, we then went to another room and had several other issues including: cracked window looking outside, lighting issues in bathroom and tv also not working. Breakfast in the morning was also not good quality. The pool also was very green, very unusual and no one was seen cleaning it. Rooms are also very loud, so sometimes it can be hard to sleep. One good thing is that the beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Overall the money was not worth our stay.

It smells like a dog all in my room. The lady that works at the front with the tattoos and long eyes lashes are taking smoke break and never at the front. They dont answer the phone. They have dogs all over. The air in my room was not cold at all. My room was not very clean at all !!!!! The beds are VERY VERY HARD!!!! The comforter is cheat and very thin! Unless its $30 cheap its not worth it! The pool was dirty too. Internet doesnt work all the time goes off and on and the door keys dont work all the time!!!!!

Beware of theft, more than once catalytic converters have been cut off vehicles at this location. I happened to be the lucky one at my stay at this location. I found out of another incident a few weeks prior by someone who was currently staying here. They were parked in the same area as my vehicle, closest to the highway. The hotel and staff were okay as far as the stay is concerned, but lied about this not happening at their location before. We shall see if they provide the security footage that was ask for.

I really want to give this beautiful little hotel a 4 star rating. THE GOOD First off special shout out to Denise who checked us in. She was simply amazing and we had to stop at the desk and tell her just that. She knew I was driving 4 hours to see my wife whos in houston taking care of her mother for a couple weeks. Denise made sure my wife had no issues getting checked in and was very informative of the amenities. Denise also forewarned us there was a wedding party going at the pool with music. Not sure how long it went on but they were not a bother to us. They werent too noisy and there wasnt kids running the halls even though there were plenty there. From the outside the grounds looks well kept and the parking and walkways were clean and inviting. Once you walk in the same theme continues. The decor is modern, clean and smells fresh. Walking through the lobby you can tell the hallway is clean all the lights were working. Our room smelled fresh and clean and the linen smelled fresh and looked clean. I checked both beds for any critter activity and mattresses showed no signs. We slept very comfortably as well. The next day breakfast was presented very well also. THE BAD Once you looked around you can see some details have been missed due to all the usual suspects. Staffing, budget, and training has fallen a little short here Im sure just like all the rest of the country which is why Im not freaking out. There were what looked to be cigarette holes in the linen but I believe it was regular breakdown since this is a non smoking facility. There is what we call DISCOLORATION in the hospitality industry along the base of the tub. Also discoloration along the tub and tile area as well. Looks like humidity has gotten inside the artwork and is starting to build discoloration as well. Although its minor the lamp harp was broken causing the shade to lean and the bas is starting to rust. When I looked out the window to the pool the usage was pretty high so the turbidity was extreme. both days even after sitting unused for several hours I still couldnt see the drain covers. The hot tub was literally green and should have been drained. Since I have a background managing hotels for 20 years I know this is just slippage because this place does everything else right. The not so good things can easily be fixed in a day so no worries there. I will definitely be back when visiting family and Im sure things will be improved here. If so Ill be updating my review to reflect just such.

Staff was great & very helpful. They stop cleaning rooms at a certain time so if you leave your room after housekeepings schedule your room will not be cleaned. Our room was cleaned, but then did not change the sheets. Provided new towels every night! I didn t give 5 stars bc our air conditioner was out all day, and up and started working at 6Am the next morning. And the beds were extra firm. They did offer a new room but it was an inconvenience packing ourselves and children up going to a new room. Overall the stay was okay.

It is not fancy, and there seems to be some repair issues, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It is relatively easy to access. Continental breakfast was offered and it was ok. The price was good. We were not there much and it met all our needs.

Very clean wouldnt have had any issues until needed help with the remote . Minal, the Director was very helpful first night. she came right up to our room and set up remote with our TV. The next day it happened again and unfortunately this time we were waiting for I think the maintenance guy, Darrin? He seemed agitated to have to deal with the issue , slung the remote on the stand, and said, Here you go.We are a bi-racial family, and he gave a vibe like he didnt want to help us. We told front desk of issue as he stood there and shook his head and argued with my spouse and told my spouse what did you expect me to do bow down as he put his hands together bowing.He denied everything. He was so rude and even smirked as he said sorry. It just was very awkward. We understand everyone has bad days but just felt he had real issues and was not kind or professional. My spouse has left his contact information for Director twice and hasnt heard back as of yet. The hotel was great except for him. We stayed in 406 on 12/30/ 21-01 /01/22.

Concusmer be advised : This location needs an upgrade. I rated it a 2 for the following in 12/2020 - 01/2021 during my stay. 1. Walls paper thin 2. Doors super heavy- can hear them all during the day and night. 3. Broken bottles I the parking lot 4. Workers drinking in the parking lot 5.The occasional homeless man sleeping by the trash can adjacent from the hotel. Ive never had an issue up until now. This is only a reflection on this location. No worries I wont be back.

It was a good stay , until the host of the breakfast hour was rude and uninviting to paying customers who stay at the facility. To ask a question and be ignored and side looks. Me and my mother stayed for 5 days. She was rude every time. The las day looking at the time, and speaking to another worker in Spanish, before we entered the breakfast room. She s not an inviting person to work at any facility. If this is the representative LaQuinta by Wyndham has you need to adjust your personal.. Change Personel/ Whole. Not professional

Overall, its an excellent hotel with clean, modern rooms. The rooms are spacious and well designed overall, although Id have liked a plug near the bed to charge my cell phone. (Fortunately, I had a USB-A cable in my travel bag to plug my phone into the alarm clock to use as a charger.) Two minor gripes held them back from a five star rating. First, the check in process was far from easy. I did online check-in using their phone app, fully expecting to walk right in and pick up my key as the app promised. The front desk had no record of an online check-in. No big deal. Then to add to it, there was an awkward period where the front desk staff tried to figure out if they even had a room. After another member of the team got involved and the first person switching between two different computers, they found a room. Second, the thermostat on their air conditioning units have no connection to reality. While my room was more than cool and comfortable, the temperature I chose was clearly not the same as the temperature in the room. As it was late and I was already unpacked, I just went with it.

Clean, quiet, courteous staff. But best of all, such honest employees dedicated to helping guests! I stayed 2 nights in April 2021, and had a bad migraine when I left. I packed up my belongings, but when I got home I realized I had left my hanging bag & a few clothes in the closet at the hotel. I have left other items in hotels before, but have never had any luck getting them back when I called those other hotels. I didnt even bother to call this one. But....a week or so later, I was astonished to receive a call from Isabel at this LaQuinta. She explained that they were holding my bag & clothing, and would I like them sent to me? She said i could purchase a prepaid shipping label, email her that label, and they would send them on along. So thats what I did-- and less than 48 hours later, my items were delivered. Yay! I appreciate housekeeping, Isabel, management and LaQuinta for their consideration and kindness. I would recommend your Inn to anyone! Thank you!

A comfortable stay overall, the complimentary breakfast was good, had yogurt, MYO waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, pigs in a blanket, juice, coffee, only one kind of milk that I could find, probably 2%, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, and hardboiled eggs. I might bee missing something. Room amenities were nice; the hand soap left a film but the shampoo and shower soap was great, the shampoo being Pantene Pro-v instead of just a generic hotel brand and the body soap was really smooth and didnt leave a film. The reason Im taking off a star is because they had recently shampooed the carpet in the room and it hadnt had time to dry so the room smelled like a wet dog the entire stay. Most guests likely wont experience that, but it was a bit off-putting.

This has been a hard trip, settling a property for a deceased family member. We are here for only 2 days, 8 hours away from home. The rooms are great, the entire staff accommodating and very helpful, especially Diane at the desk. Diane went above and beyond to help take care of my needs, exhausted as I am, was upbeat, cheerful and laughed with me when i needed it most. Going through my relatives worldly goods and helping my family find closure has been emotionally, mentally and physically draining. We thank the management and staff at La Quinta for their kindness and support. In fact, several local businesses in Humble have been a Godsend helping us get things done. The hotel industry has struggled and there are signs they are still in recovery mode here. LaQuinta s people are their best asset, their people will get them through. I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable, hospitable and a very customer oriented staff. From a grieving and grateful family from Broken Arrow and Yukon, Oklahoma thank you all.

This hotel seemed very new and I chose it because I was told it was only a couple of years old. However when I checked in there was a funny smell in my room that I couldnt put a finger on. Woke up the next morning to find mold on the back side of one of the pillows! Wish I had time to report it but was on the way out the door to work very early. For all I know I could have mold poisoning as I suddenly have a chest cold out of nowhere! So disappointed!

No breakfast and No pool (they still advertise both available) well I understand that part due COVID-19, but besides that the AC on my room didnt work so I got moved to a different room but just to sleep there I had to leave all my belongings in my original room, so I spent all night back and forward from.one room to the other one (isnt easy when you travel with a kid) next morning I had to ask again to get someone come and fix it, by noon no-one showed up. The front desk lady didnt care about clients staying there.. She just turn her face to the other way.. Worst customer service ever!.. Stay away from this property.
