Grand Garden is one of our go-tos for when i bring my wife lunch at work. I see a lot of negative reviews and i honestly dont agree with them. The menu is typical chinese restaurant fare but its always fresh, hot and delicious (best Kung Pao ive ever had). The staff is kind, friendly, and always on top of everything. The restaurant is clean and inviting (the music is a bit boring though). Theyre prettt empty most of the time but if you dine in youll notice they have a lot of order pickups and deliveries. Im making my way through their menu slowly, and im always on the lookout for a better chinese restaurant but GG is the best ive found so far and im always happy to come back. Edit: Im divorced now, and my ex has the kids out of state, but when shes in town we still make time to stop in.

This place has the worst customer service EVER I ordered a sweet and sour chicken with chicken fried rice but instead when I got home I opened the container and noticed that I only had regular fried rice. I immediately called them to explain that my order was incorrect. I was told that the person that took the order made a mistake and only charged for regular rice there is a 2 dollar difference. I said no problem but I wouldn t be able to come back for another 30 min. When I arrived with the order that was incorrect and the 2 dollar difference. I was told that I would have to pay another 10 because they remade the chicken and the rice. DUH I returned the wrong one in its entirety. They refused the difference in exchange and refused to give me a refund. They take your money and refuse to do rite. Don t spend money with these people. They took the second order that I opened to view and sold it to another customer.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The taste of the food was appalling, as if it had been cooked in old, reused oil that had gone rancid. Every bite left a greasy aftertaste that lingered unpleasantly. Its unacceptable for a restaurant to serve food cooked in such poor-quality oil. I couldnt even finish my meal, and I left feeling nauseated. I advise against dining here until they address this serious issue.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I expected way better. I thought the food looked really good. But something about The orange chicken and the hot and sour soup just didn t taste right the fried rice was ok however, the orange chicken tasted funky in my opinion I think it kind of tasted musky. I also thought the prices were way overpriced. I don t think I ll be eating at this place again. We re having anything ordered again.

Ordered takeout online. Service was good, food: less so. The pork egg rolls were delicious, the Singapore rice noodles were good, but the sesame chicken was tasteless. It had zero flavor of sesame, and while the chicken itself was properly cooked throughout, the batter or dough in which each piece was encased was gummy and flavorless. This, and the szechuan wontons were a huge disappointment.

Called to check on an order the lady/girl on the phone said Yes when she answered. She literally picked up the phone and said Yes. I was a bit appalled by the lack of customer service in that part. Wouldn t have known if I called a resturant or somebody s personal phone by her answer. Now to the food. Shrimp fried Rice was soft and seemed over cooked and the sweet and sour chicken seems to be not cooked fully. Probably the worst Chinese food I ever ate. I never write reviews but this food was so bad I had to find my google password to leave a review. Hopefully they can get better because seems they are the only option for this area.

We had Grand Garden today for the first time and loved it! Ive had trouble finding good Chinese food since Ive moved to Houston so I was so happy once I got home and tried my meal. I got the combination fried rice and pork fried rice for my husband. The servings were large, we could only get through half of our meal. Perfectly flavored and moist. We have found our new place for takeout!

I normally love Grand Garden. Let s just be honest it s cheap Chinese food but so yummy. Tonight I was craving Chinese food so I got what I usually get wonton soup, combo lo mein, and egg rolls. The order was delivered on time. The wonton soup was very hot but they didn t put the crunchy strips that usually come with it. In my opinion it s just not the same without them even though the soup was good. The lo mein was probably the worst I ever had. It was not very hot and the noodles were way over cooked very mushy. The lo mein also had a very strange taste. It s almost tasted like old fry oil, very off putting! The quality of the meat was also not great and there was only 2 pieces of chicken, 5 pieces of beef, and 3 very small shrimp that were fishy. There were hardly any vegetables as well 2 pieces of cabbage and 1 piece of green onion. The egg rolls also tasted of old fry oil but cooked well. I know that the cost of everything has gone up but raise your menu prices and still serve the same quality. After this experience I will not be going back to Grand Garden. It was a complete waste of $24 dollars. It makes me sad to write this review but no one should have to pay that price for food that wouldn t even be served at Panda Express.

Best Chinese cuisine in the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area. Their lunch and dinner portions are always consistently generous and the vegetables they cook with always maintain a slight crispness to them, as opposed to vegetables that have been sitting in a sauce being reheated over and over. Their food is fresh and the cuts of meat are recognizable and not the odd shaped chicken you find elsewhere. Their Spring rolls have great flavor and are always hot and crispy. The food is amazing! The crab puffs are probably the best thing ever! The lady looked like she wanted to be nice. Like she gave us a smile, but you can clearly tell it was forced. I understand that some people can be rude, but you know... You work in food service... So give a genuine smile. (She smiled and laughed with her co-workers)

They laughed at me for clogging their toilet! I have a medical condition and even after I told them to please stop laughing because of my condition they ignored me and kept on laughing they pointed and whispered in Chinese and after all that they decide to kick me out and told me never to come back!

So my family and i decided to go try this place expecting delicious and fresh food. I usually love shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce and Chinese fried rice. So the first thing I ordered was spring rolls and the waiter asked me if I knew how the spring look I was like YES that made me so mad. Then food wasnt good at all believe it or not, not even the water tasted good. So disappointed with this place...I dont recommend this restaurant at all.

Delicious food! The drivers are so quick and polite too. I highly recommend this restaurant if youre hungry. Its the best Chinese food you can get in Atascocita. If I were to recommend a dish, I d go with the General Tso Chicken, Kung Pao Beef, or combo fried rice. Also, the crab puffs are ridiculously good. 5 stars!

The food here has always been great. Today to celebrate summer (kids out of school) I ordered delivery. It took over an hour to get here and when we opened it up the order was wrong. I called to inform the lady over the phone we needed what we ordered and very rudely and insistently she claimed that s. It what I ordered. I don t see how I d order something no one in my family likes, but ok. Needless to say, I returned the food and will no longer do business with this restaurant as their staff of extremely rude.

This is currently my favorite spot for Chinese food in the Kingwood, Atascocita, Porter, Humble Area. My go-to is the General Tsos. The chicken here is thicker than most restaurants and doesnt have the fat and chewy ligaments you find elsewhere. The vegetables in the sauce are also fresh; you can tell by how firm they still are when they hit your plate. The wonton soup and chicken wings are also family favorites.The service is always fantastic and they have excellent lunch menu prices.

The atmosphere was intimate and the staff was quick to respond but the food was very middle of the road. No varying degrees of spice or flavor and the soda machine was bland as well.
