Crazy packed on a Saturday evening. Couldnt play any of the games I really wanted to play. Kids were running around unsupervised knocking into me while I carried drinks back. If you decide to go, come at non-peak hours or else prepare to wait to play the popular games. Dont even think about trying to get a chance at the Mario kart game: not empty once in 3+ hours.

Decided to visit cidercade and was FUN! Old and not so old arcades so there is something for everyone. Old arcades for me, pinball (I am terrible) and shooters which I love. And all are included in the 12 usd admission. Ciders are good. Pizza is ok. I will totally return. The only problem for me is that is quite far. Other than that I highly recommend it.

This place was honestly great for adults before everyone started bringing all their children. Before it was a great place for a date and to just chill have a drink and play some games and now it s close to a glorified Chuck E. Cheese day care with screaming kids everywhere and line for games. They should have days where it s adults only during the day time

Eh its ok. Nothing grand about it. I think for the table tennis area, there needs to be some sort of time limit because I ended up waiting 25 mins for a couple to finish playing and then when I got in there with my girlfriend, you get stares because some people thing youre over playing past an arbitrary time limit. Heck some girls came into our play area to intentionally make us feel uncomfortable and thus shoo us out but definitely didnt leave especially since we waited 25 mins and me seeing other people play way past that time.

I recently visited this establishment with my son, who is a high-functioning autistic teenager. He is a sweet, well-behaved young man who expresses his excitement by hopping and flapping his hands behaviors that are completely natural for him. While I was nearby attempting to work, the general manager approached me and insisted that I needed to maintain a distance of six feet from my son at all times. She expressed concerns about my sons movements, implying that they could potentially lead to accidents, despite my assurances that he has never displayed any aggressive behavior. I was taken aback by her lack of understanding and empathy. My son has never hurt anyone, and it was disheartening to feel that his joyful expression was being treated as a problem. The manager s response felt dismissive, and there was no acknowledgment of the challenges faced by families with special needs. Unfortunately, this experience led us to leave prematurely, and I felt compelled to share my concerns. It s crucial for establishments to foster an inclusive environment for all children, regardless of their needs. I plan to reach out to corporate about this experience, as I believe it s vital for them to be aware of how their staff engages with families. I hope the management can reflect on this situation and consider how to better support and understand neurodiverse children in the future.

Ive been here several times, and I love it. There are plenty of arcade cabinets for old-school gamers like myself (Pacman, Play Choice 10, Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr, etc). There are also a plethora of new arcade games for the younger generations to enjoy. There are Ping Pong, Foosball, and air hockey tables, and also arcade-style basketball games. Basically, everything you loved as a kid, mixed with some newer-style gaming. After 9pm, its strictly 18 years of age and up, which makes for a good date night or adult-group outing. And at $12 each for unlimited game play, its really hard match that kind of price point. Its an awesome place and I highly recommend it.

**YOU WILL BE TOWED** Guys, Cidercade is a GREAT experience and we always have a blast. However. Parking is an issue. If the Cidercade parking is full, be patient and wait til something opens up there!! The strip center next door will tow your vehicle if you park and walk over to Cidercade. We watched SEVERAL vehicles all get towed just within a matter of a few minutes! Be careful and do not underestimate the tow companies, it happens so, so quickly and its a hefty fee to get the vehicles out of the lot once towed.

I will never recommend this establishment to any one. Their business practices are unethical. My account has been debited since Feb of 2021. I have cancelled my membership multiple times over the last 3 years, still getting charged. Up until them changing POS Systems back in June, if that didnt happen I would still be getting charged. Cancelled in person multiple times and was assured my membership was no longer active. I have called, emailed and cancelled in person with no resolve. Since April of this year I was in contact with Lindsey because the GM brushes off inquiries of this issue. I have called multiple times and asked to speak to a GM or someone that can handle this situation. Repeatedly told to contact Lindsey. I will spare your last name. Back and forth emails with this individual, I have been patient and complied with all information that was needed. But the best offering to me is a gift card to Cidercade Houston- to use is comical. I will never step foot in this place let alone spend another dime. Do the right thing and someone contact me, as I sent an email almost a month ago with no response.

The fact that you can not bring water in even if it is in an open container is wild, and now youre not allowed to bring food in (only deserts) because they have their own pizza. While the price is considerably cheap, I would be more likely to go to Game Preserve because it seems they at least take care of their games. If you want unlimited games and take a snack in, go to Game Preserve. It may be a little more expensive but at least youll know that almost all the games are running properly.

I visited on a Saturday night and it was great! Its definitely a popular place so you may have to wait your turn on some games, but everyone was mindful that theyre not the only ones who want to play some of the classics. There is a wide variety of games there from all decades, with more skewing towards the previous millenia which isnt a bad thing at all. Theres a good mix of arcade shooters, sports skill based games, fighting games, pinball machines, and older cabinets from the 80s that make a really lively floor for people to explore. The restrooms were easily accessible and there are many stands to hold your drinks throughout the arcade so the machines dont get damaged. The only recommendation I would give if you plan to visit is to arrive earlier in the evening if you can to get a parking space on the property, because otherwise youll be circling around hoping to catch an open space or parking out on the street somewhere. Not an issue, but definitely something to be aware of. Overall, I had an awesome time there and felt like I could have been there longer even after a couple hours. Also, youve got a nice look at the downtown skyline from the entrance as well where you can see lots of people taking photos (including myself as you can see)

First time just to check it out, so fun! The ciders they offer are mostly delicious, I don t recommend the Peeps, but the Crackberry is just that, CRACK. We love this place so much, we decided to throw my boyfriend s birthday party here and it was such a good time. Everyone had a blast and enjoyed the ciders as well as their NEW brick-oven pizzas! They offer fountain sodas and water for the kiddos(of which there are many) and non-drinkers. The variety of soda they offer is one of my favorites and makes me love this place more. Cidercade Houston is an absolute gem that I discovered while looking for arcades around our last appointment in the Heights. The massive parking lot was packed, but we eventually found a spot and made our way inside, where we were greeted by hundreds of arcade games. They have everything from retro classics to racing games, motorcycle simulators, pinball machines, and even ping-pong. For just $12, you get unlimited gameplay on every activity, which is a fantastic deal. The atmosphere was incredible, with people of all ages from little kids to adults to grandparents playing video games and having a great time. It was so cool to see everyone enjoying themselves. The bar in the middle offers a wide variety of drink options, and the service was super fast. You order what you want, and they text you when your food is ready. We had the pizza rolls, which were really good, but they also have other food options. Despite how busy it was, we never had to wait long to jump on a game, which was a definite plus. I also noticed some birthday parties going on, so if you re looking for a venue for your next get-together, this would be a great option. Cidercade is a fantastic concept, and I hope they open more locations around the Houston area. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We paid, played and just kind of hung out, never received a wrist band you apparently need to be there. She shows up and asked where our wrist band is. We look at each other like what wrist band? So she asks if we paid to be there then immediately was like come to the front with me and asks if we paid cash or card (it s a cashless facility how the heck would we pay cash?) so at that point my boyfriend gave her the card he paid with so she could look it up to make sure we paid. She realized we did pay and hands us 2 wrist bands. After basically being accused of walking in there for free we left I was uncomfortable. Definitely won t be returning. It s not my fault your employees didn t do what they were supposed to do when we came in.

Wow do I feel bad for the surrounding arcades that are struggling during these times and this might be the nail in the coffin before long. This pretty much is a home run all around as far as price, selection of games and pinball machines and other venues inside. Welcome to what I believe is the third installment of cidercade of Trees. Ive been to the first one which is in Dallas, the second one I heard popped up is in Austin which I have not gone yet but talk about being tickled to the fancy with their third one being in Houston! Shut up and take my quarters, no wait a minute these days everything takes dollars, no wait a minute its $10 all you can play! Dave & Busters, eat your heart out it takes 10 minutes to lose $10 in those places. Something else also worth mentioning is you can get a reoccurring monthly pass for only $15, that is $15 and a certain other places is a daily all you can play but here its $5 cheaper. I must first mention to you, and I hope you heed this warning but about a week ago from this review, two vehicles were broken into in broad daylight from 2 to 4 pm. Yes this kind of crime can happen anywhere but this happens to have been right in front of the door! The other one was further left of the building as you are facing it by the food truck. Do not expect management to do much about it as they do not man their cameras, they are remotely operates by an outside source and do not even have any type of speaker system to page an announcement that a vehicle has been broken into. Not even a easy to announce what event is about to happen here as in closing time or last call for alcohol. Thats only the worst of this, it gets better. There are food venues within very short walking distance across the parking lot as far as a pizza parlor (5 star!) and a liquor store.. The three times I have been here, there has been a food truck but I did not try anything in it yet. They do not sell food inside so you are allowed to bring your own food. Games Galore! There is literally everything for everybody I mean everything from ping pong, air hockey, foosball, mini basketball or whatever that puck is that rolls down the miniature pins on an open table, lots of four player games, nostalgic and classic video games and my best why I come here is the updated pinball machines! These types of machines can range from $5, 000 to $10,000 each but for $10, its all you can play, how dare you even think about wasting your money on something that would only take up room in your house? Oh, the adult draw in this place, cider! There must be a minimum of 20 assorted flavors of Cider and Seltzer and they range in the $6 average I believe. Are you not a drinker? For $4 you can purchase a cup with as many refills as you would like in the fountain machine which has off brand but flavorful soda drinks and I believe they are with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. Are your fingers tired and need a little rest or I would like to conversate with your date or friends? To one side of this building there are some really comfortable looking couches with large TVs on the screen for your sports or whatever is playing viewing pleasure. Do you want to hold a party for your friends or your kids birthdays? Yes they have that here, Ive seen one but do not know if you have to rent the spot or if you need to request for it and if they let you do that, call them for these details. Restrooms. This is a very high traffic and I mean really high frequency area. Do not expect a very clean facility. Mix alcohol with a high volume of people and you can pretty much have in your mind how it will look. Most of the staff here are somewhat friendly, some you will notice that some of the staff do not have the adult professional attitude but this is an easy distractible place where something like that will not have you thinking another moment if you were to have an uncomfortable encounter. Ill keep that one to myself. To me this is kind of a four-star review but one cannot really fault them because of what is happening in the p

Tons of great games, lots of pinball machines, delicious artisan pizza, dessert pizza, and pizza rolls cooked in a cool revolving Italian oven. Vegan and gluten free options available, so many different ciders, theres something for everyone. A great date destination, or for family friendly fun. Definitely check it out if you like Dave and busters, Chuck e cheese, or Main event.

I took my daughter here for her 16th birthday. We heard if you want to have a good amount of play on every game come right when they open. So we did! We played for two hours before two school busses arrived with screaming kids running around chasing each other! Some games you couldnt play cause they were out of order, I get it. But I was a bit disappointed. We had fun though! I may come back after 9 pm when its o ly adults!

They also just recently added a new little room with ping pong tables, air hockey, and foozeball! There are so many games I lose track of time! Its honestly just a fun way to relax and have a drink. Its a great date night! Its one of my favorite places to relax in Houston!

BRING A JACKET! It is kept VERY cold inside even if it s burning hot out, you ll be cold in here. This place is great! $12 per person for a day of play is a steal! Sodas were $4 unlimited refills, and it s good soda too! The rootbeer was so good! At 9:00 they kick out anyone under 18, and weekends get real rowdy. But the selection of games was GREAT!

Whoever had this idea is a genius simply. First time here on a playdate. It was heaven for two little 8-year-old boys. The concept of paying an entry fee and play all you want is fantastic. Theres no food inside but there is a food truck on site which is great but in this visit we did learn that hopefully there will soon be a restaurant at it as well. So thats a plus. Well definitely be coming here as a regular. Also Im not sure if its all days of the week but on the day we went the kids have to exit at 9:00 so that its adult time only after 9:00 p.m.. super awesome so grownups can be kids as well too sometimes.

I dont know what happened to this place. They reduced the number of available arcade games and most of the shooter games have guns that arent calibrated. That means games like Time Crisis are unplayable. Sure they extended the space to accommodate a separate table tennis room, which is cool, but that doesnt make up for the lack of upkeep with the rest of the arcades.

We knew we were going to be passing through Houston from a little vacation. After a quick internet search for arcade and we set out for Cidercade! Wow! They had a ton of vintage and classic arcade games! Driving games, shooting games, pinball, air hockey, ping pong, skee-ball, pop-a-shot, football throw, and some newer carnival-type games from Ice. There are newer games as well. During the day and up until 9pm, it s family-friendly with all you can play. You get a wrist band and can leave and come back. They have craft sodas (all you can drink) and even food options. We were there for two hours and it felt like 30 minutes. It was wonderful. They had many of my favorites: PacMan, Galaga, Ms PacMan, Road Blasters, Pole Position II, Track and Field, Joust, and many more. You ll have a blast there.

I told the only officer that works for the company, and I called the police. The report was made, and that was it. Nothing else was done unfortunately. Can you please up the security knowing your parking lot is rather large and unsafe from the crime activity in the area. I will not be going back for that reason.

This place was amazing! The whole family had so much fun! $12 to play. We loved the ciders too! Me and the hubby wanted to try the ciders (they do give samples, if youre looking to just pick 1) so we got the flight it ended being the perfect amount of alcohol consumption for both of us. Was worth the $18. Our favorite were the bomb pop and tropical paradise. Free and good amount of parking. We went early on a Friday as it got later and more busy it was hard to get on the popular games like guitar hero and Mario cart. Id say we went at a good time and the is what my review is based on

Really liked it here! The staff were very helpful, the games were great and affordable, and the cider was ok (I had the peeps one, thats probably why it wasnt that good). I really got hooked with Metal Slug, Sound Voltex, and the Monster Mash Pintball machine. Got a little buzzed with the cider, so it was quite silly playing the games here, especially the ones with either guns or joysticks. However, as I learned, I will say this: For the love of whatever you believe in: DO NOT bring your luggage here, leave it in your car or your hotel room, this is not a good final destination. However, it is a great before final destination, and I recommend it to all adults who visit Houston.
