It took almost 2 years with one Appeal for my Disability Claim to be approved. Throughout the process, Lisa, and then Anna, made me feel like my case was important and I knew I was being taken care of. When I called to let them know my claim had been denied, I found out they were already working on my appeal - now how cool is that? They were not able to resolve my case and booted me when denied the last time. Don t expect them to fight for you! They will do the bare minimum in fighting for your case and if they can t win will drop you in a heartbeat and only send you a piece of mail or email to tell you! They are not ones to call or follow up with you about anything! You have to contact them not them contact you! I m not saying this in retaliation or cause I m upset with them, but that after 4 years they couldn t get it done and dropped me. Don t read everything that everyone is saying cause it s not true

I had been struggling to get any traction on my prior attempts to get disability. My ex wife recommended Makris and although it took close to 2 years to get my settlement, it was well worth it. Theyre finishing up the details in the next few days. I will say, at times it would get frustrating because of the slow moving government machine. I highly recommend Makris lawfirm. I had and another law firm that was working on my case for 2 years and I discharged them for lack of communication, empathy and concern. I would like to speak on Julie McDaniels behalf. I am her husband. I am your client. I have been working with you since day one almost 2 years one my wife is not a third-party everything that happens to me. Everything that happens to our finances happens to us, which means she is not a third-party, I have called she has called when I got my denial after y all working on my case we almost left y all then and y all basically threatened us and under rest we kept y all also under your promise that you would let us know biweekly or at the most by monthly what was going on that has never happened. We can t most of the time get you to respond via email or via call. I ve been in my appeal process for almost a year, check your files in the appeal process how many times you ve called me we have submitted more paperwork since the appeal. Then you have we sent all the paperwork to them and to you that never even got inputted in into your system. Last time. I actually got a chance to truly speak with somebody for more than a minute at your office after I called they didn t even know I was still in pain management, which I have never left I have been in for the whole time. I have been a client of yours and years before my wife takes care of most of my stuff because I am dyslexic. She is my better half. She is not a third party she sent you a letter when we got married explaining who she was and that she would help handle this. She also got all my old paperwork together from doctors the new paperwork together from doctors and sent all that to you after we started the appeal process which never got input into your system obviously, I have had three or four different people in this two years working on my case and I still have not gotten any results or any updates unless I repeatedly call and send emails you can twist it anyway you want, but this is the Fax I wonder if you even know that I have migraine issues on top of I can t walk properly and my disability aid for my foot is falling apart and I can t afford to fix it or get any help with it. I was told I would get help with it in January, a year ago thanks to as you call it my third-party wife I now have medical insurance, which y all promised to help with one of the people in your office did once I sold my extra vehicle we are starving. We are selling everything to survive the least you could do is keep us updated, and pretend you care about us

I don t know how Markris Law firm has all these glowing wonderful reviews. My husband is going on 2 years waiting for something to happen. They have in the their information folder that the preferred mode of contact is an email. But they don t answer them. Prior to that my husband called 2 or 3 times and left messages. No return call. After a year. We were denied. And then we wanted to leave the company because of no contact and felt like our case wasn t handled in a timely manner. It s supposed to be a faster process with an attorney. We were assured if we stayed with them it would be different. We had a different case worker and could call anytime. . And said we d hear from them in March 2024. Nope. We contacted them Thur email and finally someone called us, a different case worker and told my husband his case had NOT even been assigned to anyone and said they did not know he was seeing a pain management doctor or have any of his current information.( Which had been given to them when we agreed to let THEM appeal.) And then when we got an appt to see the social security Dr he had no information or X-rays on my husbands case. Knew nothing. And now they are billing us for the appt!!! It s almost another YEAR next month . We ve had to get on Food Stamps and sell things to keep our Drs appts and pay bills. This has been very very disheartening. Weve been kept in the dark and we feel like we are on our own.

I retired due to a lot of medical problems. My sister told me to file for Social Security Disability. I went to the Social Security Office and filled out the application. If I could give 0 stars I would. This law firm filed for SSI for my husband and it was denied, which is understandable. Moving forward instead of using this law firm to appeal, I took it upon myself to go throw the motions to file again on my own without a lawyer. Somehow this law firm was still attached to his paperwork even after I had told Social Security that they were not on his case anymore and SSI sent them payment that was deducted out of my husbands back pay. They could have done the right thing and not taken the payment but they did anyway. I wouldnt recommend anyone that would do such a thing.

I was denied my disability three times. I decided I really need some help with getting my disability approved. I heard about Makris Law Firm from a friend whom they helped get his disability. So I called Makris Law Firm and they immediately started the appeal process for my disability. A few months later I was before a disability judge with Makris Law Firm by my side. I was there for only 10 minutes and they was approved for full disability. I didnt have to say one word Makris Law Firm spoke on my behalf and just like that they got my disability approved. This office the attorney, Steve & attorneys assistant were very rude, didnt care about what i was goin thru they didnt pay all my medical bills after a accident. Do not go for a divorce they billed me over $10,000. I have chronic kidney disease and was able to get ssi but soon after it stopped after my divorce in which his office handled. Now the Department of treasury says I owe them due to their office not paying all medical bills. He aslo handled a auto accident. They are very crooked. Do not use them. If I could give them no star I would, they suck at there job!! Belen never answers her phone nor does she know how to return calls they want to get paid for there services but don t do anything at all to help your case!! Like you do the work and they get paid .
