After two prior lawyers couldnt get the job done on an 18-wheeler case that side swiped me, I happened to find Pegah Rahgozar when I was working at my security job and she was visiting the restaurant I was working at. This firm is the best thing that happened the me after my car accident. From the get go my lawyer showed concern about me, if I was hurt and if I needed to go the hospital. She made sure from the beginning that I didn t have to pay no medical bills out of my pockets. I found Rahgozar Law Firm while doing an online search for immigration attorneys for purposes of getting started with my wifes green card process just before COVID hit. We were able to schedule an in-person meeting with Pegah, who walked us through the entire process, and gave us an extensive list of documents we would need to provide as support for the case. At the time, we thought the amount of documents provided was a little too much, but it ended up being great for our USCIS interview. The wait for the interview notices was long, but the firm was always available to answer questions regarding the status of our case, and they were always proactive in letting us know when new notices arrived, and explaining what those notices meant, and what actions were required. I contacted attorney rahgozar to assist me with an rfe on an extension of stay and change of status case I filed last year during the coronavirus. I find it hard to believe any other attorney could have been more thorough in her response. She went above and beyond in including relevant information that I did not provide to her in the response to USCIS, making a convincing argument as to why my case should be approved and responded well ahead of the deadline. She would be with you in ten minutes, the secretary told us. We sat and waited patiently. Our meeting was at 11 a.m., and after a long drive, it allowed us to put our paperwork together; however, with the question lingering in our mind, she had never been late. After a couple of minutes, the secretary picked up to answer the ringing phone. From her conversation, I realized that the person on the other end of the line was the attorney asking about us and how we are doing. Then the secretary turned to us and said, the attorney is on her way. A happy, energetic, pompous professional attire and promising face and look were what we were expecting to receive. We did receive the promising, smiley, and happy face but not the usual attorney we used to see for the last five years. She came in with a look obvious to any common mortal sense that she had been through numerous health struggles and physical pain and on the top of them all, with a broken arm, yet dressed to the best of the capacity of a lady with one arm from shoulder to wrist wrapped in plaster hanging around her neck in a sling. She greeted us and apologized for being late. We entered her office expecting that the meeting would be shorter than what we were told, for her condition did not constitute anything else. There were three piles of papers and documents on her desk, demonstrating the length of time of the accident and all the physical struggles. She placed herself on her chair; got into the job. Asked for our documents to be reviewed and made sure everything was in the order of what we have been instructed previously. From time to time, she needed physical assistance to flip through papers or unsheathe some documents which were given by my spouse. We told her we could leave early or come back later when she was more comfortable and less pain. No, No. No, I am fine. We must go through this together today, she said. It seemed she was more determined than us to finish what we went there for to her office. Despite our expectation for a short meeting, our meeting lasted considerably more than what we expected. Not a single page left unmarked. All pages were looked at, checked, confirmed; some were given updated instructions and handed back. Then she said, this is my personal line, which you must call me once you are at the designated office. We were preparing to leave the office, both my spouse and I filled with hope and expressing good wishes for her health and family and still under the impression of her devotion, professional behavior, time expectations and management, accuracy, and on top of all her treatment of our case as her own. It was time to leave the office, for we now were thinking that the meeting was getting too long. She again said, do not forget to call me once you are at the designated office, she continued, make sure you have the right address; of course, I will send it to you again. She then smiled, moved from her desk, and accompanied us to the secretary, and gave the secretary the last instructions and assurance that she would see through them all and check on us accordingly. In the middle of her office, she was standing with an arm in a sling and an overall look of a professional lady who did her best to keep the expression of attire to the maximum ability of an individual with the half potential of physical performance. Yet, with a heartful smile and wish of good luck to us, we departed. When we left the office, all we thought was what she did, and now we realize that all she considered was how we would do and the outcome of the time and devotion which she graciously gave to make our life better and prove that she deserves her name. In my opinion, counsel Rahgozar is the best immigration attorney in the greater Houston area today. With her guidance and services, I got my green card in 6 months (15th Oct 2019 to 29th April 2020). She was so precision-driven and passionate in my case that in the end, I got my green card without even attending any interview. Do not go here!! This is the worst experience I have had with any professional body. Very unprofessional and heartless place. Infact the I left the place crying because I wasn t feeling well and even used my vacation to make this appointment only for me to get there and the receptionist tells me that she go out for another appointment. January of 2015 while on holidays in Houston, my wife and I decided to speak with an immigration lawyer about moving to Houston to live. I am a natural born citizen of the USA but my wife and her two boys are Argentine. Other people we know that have immigrated to the States typically have been sponsored through their work but our situation and paths were different requiring us to find a local lawyer familiar with out type of case. I found several names online and sent out requests for information. Ms. Rahgozar responded within a day and was the only response we received. To our pleasure we found Ms Rahgozar to be personable, professional and knowledgeable, she took the time to explain the whole process, all of the fees, the steps required and the pitfalls we could encounter. Upon return to Buenos Aires we began the process of gathering documents and information for the application. Every document had to be translated and certified, this included but was not limited to birth certificates, school records, marriage certificate, bank statements, character references from friends and business relations, the list goes on. Since we had a comprehensive list provided to us by Ms Rahgozar and her timely responses to our many inquires we had everything required by the time we returned to Houston the next year. Back in Houston everything went smoothly, Ms Rahgozar and her staff prepared our application and guided us through the process. Unfortunately the immigration system was slowing down for a variety of reasons but Ms Rahgozar kept us informed and reassured us that nothing was wrong, it was just the speed of government. On the day of our interview Ms Rahgozar was prompt and had a comfortable working relationship with the Immigrations Agent assigned to our case. The interview itself was a bit anticlimactic, having heard horror stories about the interviews going terribly wrong we expected the worst and were surprised at how easy it was. Since our application was spot on and Ms Rahgozar had done a good job of preparing us, the interview was smooth and effortless. Within two weeks the green cards arrived and we all celebrated. I highly recommend Ms Rahgozar and her firm, they were always professional, kept us abreast, informed and importantly there were no oops moments or hidden fees. Another huge plus to us is the fact that her staff always included someone fluent in Spanish allowing my wife to discuss some of the technical legal issues in her native language and to help us insure the accurate translation and interpretation of documents. A last word; My youngest stepson, Joaquin, just graduated from high school here in Houston. With his Green Card in one hand, Diploma in the other and citizenship on the horizon, he feels the world is his to own as he prepares to navigate the many paths the future has to offer to him.
