Mayday Lawfirm settled my case without my consent. They will not and have not responded to my calls or emails. The Lawfirm told me the lawyer that settled my case without my consent no longer works there. This Lawfirm told me that they had the power to handle my case any way they choose without my consent due to me signing a power of attorney. This Lawfirm received a settlement check January 9, 2022 on my case; as of yet I haven t seen a dime and wasn t told my case was settled until mid March. The whole staff is rude and disrespectful. I have kept rude text messages from there staff and all email correspondence. I pray no one else gets dupped by this Lawfirm. *******Update********** Just received a payment 4/14/22 from my settlement. I am beyond disgusted with this Lawfirm. After all medical bills from various doctors they sent me to I get a small amount. I have life long injuries and Mayday will not pay my future medical bills. People do your research on these Law firms and lawyers. Please! 5/14/2022**Update*** I have been served papers. This Lawfirm has the unmerited gaul to sue me because I posted a review. People need to know how crooked they are. People hire Law firms to represent them not to disrespect and mishandle there case. I kept all communication with this Lawfirm as my proof of the unsatisfactory representation they gave.

I needed to write this review because the truth needs to be out there. I hate having to do this but here it goes. I agree with most of the other negative reviews. My case was not handled professionally at all. Staff was rude. They do not give updates. Whenever you call trying to get updates, they literally won t let you get one word in and quickly get you off the phone. I followed all instructions given me. I ended up having to do a lot of the work myself. Following up on things, getting documents, making calls. My case was switched over to 3 or 4 people who all did not seem to know what was going on or even try to get up to date on things.( some of the reasons I was given were this person no longer works here). I was tossed around a lot. They settled for way less than was discussed, didn t not split the payment according to the contract and also tried to cheat me. The numbers on the final document did not even add up( simple calculator work), trying to bill me for things I had already paid for out of my pocket and so on. I emailed the owner to try to resolve this issue since I got his assurance before allowing them to take my case. He did not respond or make himself available. All I will say is, if you want to be treated fairly and professionally, please do your due diligence and find another place to represent you. This is just a summary. I cannot list every negative experience here. But you get the gist

I was referred to this law firm by my daughter and my rating is none other than Excellent, Polite and Professional. The Lawyer and I met for lunch on our initial visit which was a very pleasant experience. She explained the process to me and answered any questions I may have had throughly. I had tried one of the big box lawyers and they did not accept my case, my daughter said, well my friend and line sister does injury cases, call her, and I did. I am extremely satisfied with her services and that of her assistant Kristina. Kristina kept me abreast on things and any time I called, she was pleasant and up front. Always gave me the status of my case. I 100% recommend Mayday Law Firm and Attorney Alomaja as an injury lawyer, she and Kristina did a great job representing me and I appreciate all that they did. I went with them because i knew one of lawyers....staff treated me rough @ times told me I was a bother when over 5 months i only called every other wk. Had wreck in 11/2/19 was closed 6/15/20 didnt start calling till February. I had to inform them of them not disbursing all of funds they still didnt correct right but was just tired of run around so excepted just to be through with process.
