Great little hangout! Really enjoyed ourselves. DO NOT BUY THE TAMALES from the guy that comes in near closing. We actually threw ours away. Definitely recommend the bar though. Music and staff were great. Restrooms were clean too.

What a wonderful experience! Located just a little bit more away from central area of events with great and cheap service. It is an amazing spot for small bends and country music events. Nice patio as well!

Decreasing to 4 stars: the beer selection hasnt been great recently, and it seems like theres a cover every time we try to pop by for a drink (maybe bad luck?). They did a nice job with renovations! Its definitely still Dan Electros, but they revamped part of the inside and redid the patio. Only thing weird is that the benches for the patio tables are SUPER high. Like adult mens feet arent touching the ground high.

I love this music venue so much. They host a variety of different events in multiple different genres and they treat their vendors very well. Dropped in to see Hamilton Loomis. This is a cool venue. Its a small roadhouse type of feel with a large stage, good sound, and plenty of space out back to move around. Drink prices are good, and its just a comfortable spot to enjoy live music.

Really awesome local spot with live music pretty much every night. They have a pool table, rooftop balcony, fire pit when it s cold. The people who frequent this place are all really down-to-earth and ready to make friends. I ve added this to my list of places to frequent because of the welcoming nature of the venue and it s clientele!

The resurrected Dan Electro s is booking a great variety of acts, the place is super clean, the patio is nice and the ability to bring in food trucks (and they bring in good ones!) makes up for their lack of any food offerings. They also do not typically (or ever, I m not 100% sure) have a cover charge, which makes it painless to take a chance on going to hear bands with which you may be somewhat or completely unfamiliar. Part of me longs for the historical Dan s, with the corridor to the restrooms plastered floor to ceiling with posters of previous shows, the natural ground aka dirt of the outdoor area, and the general funk of a well-lived-in dive bar. But alas, progress is unavoidable at some point - and I think Dan s has done an admirable job of infusing the history (all Beans Barton artwork or photos including the neon fish logo) with the inevitable trendiness of an increasingly gentrified neighborhood. The live music is pretty well-mixed (this varies everywhere depending upon the Audio Engineer s familiarity with the material) and not blisteringly loud, which these nearly 60-yr-old ears appreciate (I m plugs in all the time anyway).

I was in town visiting my family and we went there because the music was recommended. The band was amazing, with a host of Grammy nominated, Grammy winning and American idol singing madmen and guests. Im not sure if this is their usual fare, but this night, they were stellar!

Horrible soundman. Mics feeding back, way over loud for the small room. Jukebox music overwhelming, 15 min to sound check a snare drum?!? My earplugs were barely adequate. Love the old and current venue, loved playing here in the past, but tonights soundman for free county music with WillowsBBQ steak night ruined it, for everyone. Hoping the soundman (in photo) will get a clue, but not holding breath.

Guitar bar! I saw live local music here with no cover on a Thursday night. Reasonably priced cocktails, cool decor, and friendly bartenders. Not too big, the vibe is intimate. Large outdoor area with lovely foliage - you can tell someone enjoys caring for the plants. Theres cornhole, small upper balcony, a Cajun food truck, and a big box of chalk if youre feeling artistic.
