In 66 years I had never been in trouble with the law. January, 2023, I was arrested and should not have been. I was handcuffed in my front yard, taken away in a police car (while at least 7 of my neighbors watched), put in jail, and treated like a criminal. This whole experience lasted 14 hours, but, it left me traumatized. From that day till mid March I was a nervous wreck. My life and family were put on hold. I spent every waking hour researching lawyers, consumed with finding an attorney who could convince the judge I shouldn t have been arrested and the charge should be dismissed. I was also nervous about how I could afford an attorney with only a SS income. In March, Scott A. Bernstein became my court appointed attorney. He was phenomenal! He always took my calls or called back. I was a nervous wreck, scared to death at the possibility of jail time and a fine. He told me not to worry, he felt I shouldn t have been arrested and he believed he would get the charge dismissed. We must have spoken 3 or 4 times. Each time I hung up the phone relieved because he had again assured me I shouldn t worry and that he believed he could get the charge dismissed. I never had to go back to court, Scott called me and told me the case had been dismissed. So, if you or someone you know needs an attorney, HIRE SCOTT AARON BERNSTEIN!!! Thank you Scott!
