I had the pleasure of having Lauren Heyde represent me during my divorce. Lauren exceeded my expectations on navigating me through this difficult time as she was knowledgeable, a great communicator, well responsive and patient when dealing with the opposition during difficult times during the process. I felt that she had not only my best interest but also my family s best interest when negotiating my divorce. I highly recommend Jenkins and Kamin Law firm. Attorney Michael del Rio and his team, Christine Cook and Julie Oinonen, are total professionals. I was stuck in divorce proceedings for 8 years until I met Michael. I had lost confidence in the justice system as I had worked with over three other attorneys. Michael conducted his magic in a couple of months with complete and precision while being totally proactive and responsive. I am very fortunate to have discovered Jenkins and Kamin Law firm. I am finally free.

I recently worked with Michel del Rio to draw up an amicable Prenuptial agreement. We found the name of this firm on the internet. Despite this being done during the COVID outbreak, Michael the the paralegals in the Bay Area Blvd. office were always very friendly and responsive. They were easy to work with. Because of their work, we are now happily married and secure in what we have gotten ourselves into. It is true what is said about using a lawyer. What we could summarize in two sentences turned into 30 pages with 5 addendums. I think every conceivable problem was covered. The process took four months and cost thousands more than we had imagined, but in the end it will have been worth it. If I need the services of a family lawyer again, Ill call Michael.

Jenkins & Kamin came highly recommended when I was in search of a good divorce attorney. I met with Susan Oehl from the firm and she immediately put my stress and anxiety at ease. Divorce is never easy and I truly did not want a battle with my ex. But I also set very high standards for the attorney I would be working with. She was firm and direct, but also understood my need for peace throughout the whole process. She and the firm were always organized and 5 steps ahead of the process. They were always there to answer any questions I had or ease any fears along the way. Post-divorce, I have already recommended Susan (and the firm) to numerous friends and acquaintances and they have been equally as pleased to work with her. We still stay in touch, and Im truly grateful for her hard work and friendship throughout such a difficult process.

AVOID JO JENKINS AT ALL COSTS ... I would not hire Jo Jenkins to walk my dog. I unfortunately used her for 9 months during my divorce. Jo has the worst bedside manner of any lawyer Ive worked with (and corporately Ive worked with many). But that is not my gripe. I dont trust Jo, I dont like Jo and I dont think she is competent. She made mistakes, she was repetitively forgetful and she sent confidential information to the counter-party which caused unnecessary conflict. In my opinion she used this unfortunate divorce for her own ends. For Jo it was all about money. To do this she made the simple complicated, found problems instead of solutions and avoided forward progress. If she were honest, this would have concluded within weeks for a modest fee. However Jo took tens of $000 from me. Her incompetence was so extreme that I finally switched lawyer (not normally advisable) to Enrique Torres. Enrique was everything Jo was not. Enrique was supportive, honest, efficient and pleasant to deal with. With Enrique I was able to easily make progress and reach a settlement at modest cost. I have subsequently spoken to other former clients of Jo Jenkins and to a person they have had an awful experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS ..

I very much appreciate Jenkins & Kamin taking my mothers case when she desperately needed to replace her original counsel. Susan Oehl did a wonderful job fighting for her needs, being compassionate towards her terminal illness, and most of all truly listening. Thanks to her and this firm my mother was able to live out the remainder of her life with some dignity. I would absolutely recommend Susan Oehl and Joan Jenkins at this firm.
