Our case began as a simple adoption case and both parties initially agreed. During the course it became complicated as a family member unfortunately did not want to accept that this was only for the well-being of the child. This led to the addition of attorney Damariz Chavez who was the attorney who represented the child and was only seeking his well-being. The role she played in the case was excellent, since at no time did we feel that she was supporting something outside of the childs well-being. She listened to the child at all times and supported his well-being. This review is to thank lawyer Chavez for her performance, her work and her interest in the child. Thank God first and also you and your team. In the midst of everything that happened and more than 3 years later in this case, we thank you for how you improved the case and your excellent wisdom in finishing it. Never Again! It shows who actually just does it for the money. I appointed Damariz as my attorney and she helped out on my first case. When she saw I had another thing in my record she immediately asked me for money to take care of it. I paid her and I still had to pay the court a big amount. She didn t check the paperwork since there was mistakes on due dates and my information. I had to go finish the job by going and talking to the judge myself because she didn t want to. She lied to me saying she tried calling but that the court wouldn t talk to her cause she wasn t my lawyer no more but the court told me otherwise. I Asked for a refund and she denied me. Saying she didn t do nothing wrong, but paperwork goes with her job or secretary s. It was passed on from the court by them so... where s my refund?

Called Atty office to ask about ticket removal. The person who answered the phone clearly did not want to be there. Didnt even state their name and was bothered about the questions I had. This has been a review coming. I met Damaris through my tax person and was so grateful for her to take my husbands immigration case when no one else wanted too. I submitted the I130 application with a notary and we had received an interview on a color paper and she (notary) told us I needed to see a lawyer. Well the 2 lawyers (well known) I went to previous told me he would be deported that he must have lied about something and to not waste our money or time. She (Damaris) did some digging and told us as long as we were honest with all our history she would take our case. We walked into that immigration office together with God and did the interview and came out together. The notary failed to submit certain documents so they wanted to obtain an interview to validate the marriage to proceed. Since she took our case God was on our side. It was a longer process then normal and I believe because of my prior marriage that caused them to look more into this one. She was there through it all... even through my health issues she was so reassuring for me to focus on getting better and that they would take care of our case. My husband became a Permanent Resident last May and when I called her from Cuidad Juarez to give her the news she was so happy. It happen to be her birthday and she told us best birthday gift ever. I have recommended her to many and always will. You want a lawyer that cares, is affordable and wiling to go the extra mile for you then you want Attorney Damaris Chavez.
