Don t explain your story during the free evaluation case because afterwards she ll just ask for $5000-$8000. There is no contingency. Think y all should know this is if you get fired from a job and it s employment law. How to afford something like that if you have just been fired . 0 stars if I could .

If I could give MORE than 5 stars I would. Ms Murphy is the BEST. Shes SO knowledgeable and passionate about keeping a safe and fair work environment. She is very patient and so nice. We met with Marjorie to discuss the merits of a potential wrongful termination lawsuit. Marjorie was very knowledgeable and walked us through various avenues, risks, costs, potential awards/case outcomes, etc. Thanks to her help, unfortunately we decided to not proceed with a lawsuit based on the risk vs reward analysis. I m glad that Majorie Murphy was able to provide great service to all of you. I wish I could say the same. Unfortunately she gave up on me so easily before I got the chance to move forward with my case. I scheduled an appointment to meet with her but by the date of my appointment I had been going through domestic violence so my mind had been every where I could not remember that I had an appointment. When my reminder went off I contacted her to reschedule. She did not let me reschedule, she told me to seek other counsel because she was too busy. She was not understanding at all even though I was willing to wait for her as long as she wanted me to wait because I believed she was a great lawyer. I made one mistake of not making my appointment and she just let me go so easily so basically it was like my rights did not matter to her at all.

Attorney Murphy and her staff is amazing!! I was given a short period of time to respond and did not think I would be able to find anyone, in swoops Attorney Murphy. Attorney Murphy set up the consultation, within hours. She did not rush (it was on the weekend), made sure that she understood the situation, and gave me an honest response on what she felt we could accomplish. The 15 minute consultation was rushed and I wasn t able to get across any of my points or any information that might help. If you don t have time for an appointment, even a 15 minute consultation, then why schedule it? I kept getting cut off and essentially talked down to, and it really discouraged me from pursuing a lawsuit. I was told to send a list of reasons why my termination was related to the discrimination complaint that I made, and she didn t even bother responding to my email. Luckily, I found another lawyer who, in 15 minutes, actually listened to me to get an idea of what the issue was.

The thing that set Marjorie apart from other attorneys was her immediate belief in my case. I d spoken to over 20 different lawyers offices, explaining my case over and over, just for them to refer me to another lawyer, who referred me to another lawyer, and so on. It was very discouraging and frustrating. Perhaps my issue was too small fry for them or they just didn t believe in it. However, after meeting Marjorie for my initial consultation she agreed to assist. I instantly had hope to finally achieve a resolution because not only did I believe in me, but someone else did as well. The other thing that stood out, was the reasonable charge for the service. Most lawyers are known to price gauge and try to take as much money as possible. I found her to be flexible and fair in this regard. (Even from the beginning I appreciated being able to speak to Marjorie directly. I didn t go through an intermediary person, I didn t have to pay hundreds or thousands for an initial consultation just to speak with her a few minutes, and she was able to literally squeeze me in within a couple days). She s a VERY busy person but somehow she still manages to make time to respond very quickly to emails, make you feel a priority, and make time to talk between depositions and court if needed. She has some amazing organizational skills! In the end, I believe if you re walking down the path you re ordered to go down, things will fall into place.. the right people to do the job, and the right outcome. Marjorie was definitely that person and I m extremely grateful to have found her and worked with her. I highly recommend!
