I am not represented by the Cusic Law Firm but I was interested in a free consultation to compare what I had been told by other law firms. Not only did Desiree call after her normal business hours, same day as my request, she had a fountain of information and guidance. I m a Pro Se filer just looking for a little guidance and she went above and beyond. Her firm is more of an all or nothing firm, and at this time I do not need full representation but I would highly recommend her if you do.

So I was facing a case that lasted over year and half ms Cusic has a distinguished way of defending her clients, and her tactics are barred to none. This is my second lawyer that I went to after my first lawyer got sick. She will make sure to take care of you and your needs. Most lawyers are money hungry she just wants to make sure the community is good if you re reading this review and are thinking about signing with cusic law firm you won t miss. I am a father, and have custody of my daughter. She made everything possible.

The entire staff I ve met was absolutely amazing. From the boss on down 10/10 I highly recommend this firm. Dessiray has been communicative every step of the way! I had a difficult case with the opposition being extremely difficult. She took on my case with full disclosure that it would be costly. She has worked with me and has worked diligently. Her paralegals, Beaula and the team have been exceptional. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs Cusic s firm for any family law case. Probably the worst representation I could ve paid for. Little to no communication regarding my case unless they re requesting the retainer to be replenished. I felt like my attorney was taking orders from opposing counsel instead of siding with me her client. I signed paperwork to close my case last week and once again they have gone silent. If I knew this was going to be the kind of services they offered I would ve kept my $3500 and invested it into a firm who truly cared for their clients. I would recommend staying away from this law firm if you d like your case to be taken seriously with care and effectiveness.

The whole team at the Cusic Law Firm were very patient, polite, and understanding. They were eager to help and were always available in answering the phones and returning my calls in a prompt manner, morning, noon, or evening. Attorney Desiree Cusic even held a lengthy zoom meeting with me while sick. I would use them again if ever needed and would definitely recommend the Cusic Law Firm.

I really appreciate the advice and heartwarming conversation during my free consultation with Ms. Dessiray Cusic. Though my case was outside of her county and court district, Ms. Cusic (in my opinion) went above and beyond as we discussed my case. I was gracefully corrected in several Texas Family Codes, while being enlightened as to their true meanings. Ms. Cusic also provided a few courses of action. I have met very few individuals in my life who would take the time to patiently listen and genuinely help. Ms. Cusic is one of those individuals. I highly recommend her and urge you to, at least, have the conversation.

Very knowledgeable won t down play that. Used as amicus in adoption process was told one price and received and unexpected invoice. My attorney stated that she was also surprised that I had a balance with her being that the amicus fee is usually a set fee. The surprised invoice was a little over 900.00 and I was told that I got a discount so it bought it down to 500.00 after my Attorney paid 1250.00 upfront which was supposed to be a on time fee. I m still unsure of what the 900.00 excuse me 500.00 dollars owed was for. The invoice just said adoption with no explanation. Especially when my attorney stated that she was confused herself as to why I had that balance owed to the Amicus. So yes be aware with any attorney that you choose. Ask questions, get everything in writing, if there will be any on going fees as such. It is very disheartening to feel as someone is price gouging you especially in these times.

Do not use this lady. I hired her twice first case was well over 7k. Then again i hired her and it was during covid-19. Gave her over 5k and we went to mediation and then she sends us a final bill of 1700.00 i told her my wife lost her job and she would have to wait a month to get my income tax return back. Then i get served for small claims court. She will get hers. There is a world wide pandemic going on and this is how she does her clients. I will never use this lady again. And would advise everyone else to spend there money on a better attorney. She is not that good anyways. She just drags things out is all she does.. find a better company.

Dessiray Cusic is an excellent attorney and she fights for her clients. Her strategic thought process sets her above most lawyers. She represented me when my ex-husband left the state without my knowledge or consent. I did not know where my daughter was for 2 years Essentially, I called it kidnapping. Dessiray fought hard for me to get my parental rights back. In 2005, I used her again to get temporary custody. I used her a third time when I was granted custody and my ex-husband received visitation. She is the BEST. I recommend her without reservation.

Worst Attorney I have ever delt with She gave me one price of 3800 then sent a bill for 8k which was before we even went to court. Make sure you look at what you sign with this one. Also during court she complain and rush everything because she needed to go to a birthday party. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMEN
