That made me reach out and leave a voicemail because it was Memorial Day weekend. 30 minutes later I received a call from Joseph, I was blown away to receive a call back on a holiday. I had never been in trouble with the law until I got arrested for a DWI misdemeanor. I was extremely terrified of how that would turn out & had no idea on what to do next when I got released on a PR bond. I was told it s best to get an Attorney so I did a ton of research UNTIL I came across Mr. Ruiz. It only took 5 minutes of our phone call when I immediately knew Mr. Ruiz was who I certainly wanted to handle my case. He did an outstanding job & was very reassuring during the entire process. He was so knowledgeable & very respectful to the point where nothing he seen or heard allowed him to judge my character because he knew mistakes happen & it doesn t mean we re bad people, just a bad decision. Super thankful for Mr. Ruiz and for his dedication to his work and all his help! He helped me get a lesser charge from DWI 2nd to DWI 1st (meaning lesser punishment & avoiding mandatory jail time). After being arrested for a DWI, I was scared & knew that I needed a lawyer. After speaking with 5 or 6 lawyers, a friend recommended Joseph Ruiz. After speaking with him (and checking his credentials), I decided to go with his law firm. He knows the system. He explained everything to me (step by step) in terms that anyone wouldve understood. I dont know how big his law firm is, but whenever I called (or emailed), I got a prompt response to my questions. I had to go through the process, but the result was a dismissal of all charges. If you need a lawyer for a DWI charge, Joseph Ruiz is the man for you. I will definitely keep his number saved & recommend him to any of my family or friends that need a lawyer. (DWI or Criminal). Unfortunately, a family member was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and we hired Joseph Ruiz, PLLC, as his defense attorney. This was not a first or second time offense. It was a third offense, I stressed that out to prove that the defense that our family member received was absolutely the best! We never imagined the outcome that Joseph, with all due respect, was going to exceed our expectations! He got two cases dismissed, which was a total miracle. Not only is our family member not having to step foot in jail, but he has legal immigration problems that did not affect his outcome (being deported). This was definitely an overwhelming situation, our family member was scared and feeling ashamed of his irresponsible and poor decisions but Joseph was never judgemental, he was truthful, honest, respectful and encouraging, his communication skills make it so much easier to be on the same page making it a smoother process since you are always in the loop. A big plus was that Joseph speaks excellent Spanish and was able to translate and explain the whole process to our family member. Let me first say I am THANKFUL to have of found the right attorney to help me with my situation. There are so many attorneys out here that will give you the run around on how much they can help you and or will do so much for you, yet they dont actually fight for you. A very compassionate and detail oriented lawyer. Mr. Ruiz was able to fight and beat my case in a timely manner.
