Rosewater used to be a good place to get a good drink with friends. We went on a Friday night excited to come back. We sat outside and waited for 15 minutes for a waitress to come over. Nobody came. They were walking around though and serving everyone else. I even noticed they looked at us but never came over. I went to the bathroom expecting us to be served while I was gone so I told my friends my drink order. Come back, and we still havent been served. We decided this is ridiculous to wait 20 minutes to be served while 3 waitresses served one table and started walking out. My friend said right when we got up a waitress picked up the menus we left. We were flat out ignored. All we wanted was a drink. I normally love coming to Rosewater, but the service we had will make us question coming back.

Rosewater is absolutely incredible. Food is amazing, drinks are well balanced, delicious and unique. First time dining and drinking there tonight and am already craving going back! Please stop in here and try a creative cocktail and delicious sandwich. The sauces are PERFECTION. Get the Zhug sauce for literally any dish and a French Lemonade. You won t be disappointed! Service was also on point- really friendly staff and atmosphere is very relaxed and cool.

Update 4/26/24: Rosewater is a great place but not as great as it used to be. I have just two issues. 1) The place has become busy, which is good, but they need more staff. The 2-3 girls working were running around as best as they could. 2) The quality of the drinks has gone down. Theres more ice than liquid, and the amount of alcohol is almost negligent. Until a year ago, I could have 2 drinks and be happy. Today, I had 4, nothing, nada...I had more drinks at a higher cost but got less for my money. I will go for the atmosphere and the nice waitstaff but will stick to wine. Its great to hang out with friends. Nice drinks but limited food.

Service and atmosphere are great. Drinks are worth what you pay. It was my first time ordering food and let me tell you the burgers are really good. I always order the charcuterie board and I was a little bummed that now you can t pick your meat and cheese but after trying it I was back to being a happy camper. We ordered drinks and an app which were good but then towards the middle of our visit it seemed like our server ignored us. We wanted to order more food and drinks but they never came back, and I politely made eye contact a few times. Excellent cocktail spot with rotating menu (and some solid, standard full-time options). The menu is helpful is describing unfamiliar drinks as well. ***Update*** Much better experience yesterday! Pasha was kind enough to make a reservation for us and a couple of friends to encourage us to return. Things were much better this time around. Up until yesterday evening, we have always had great interaction with staff as well. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was awful and has us searching for a new spot for drinks with friends. We arrived during happy hour on Friday. Rosewater is a popular spot, so we anticipated a wait. We were excited about the new, expanded space. When we arrived we were offered the only available seats indoors which were at a counter in the corner facing the wall. We accepted, grateful to be seated right away. Again, with it being a Friday, we anticipated that the staff might be busy and we would wait a little longer for our libations. I can t tell you how the drinks were that evening as we never had the chance to order. My husband and I waited for nearly twenty minutes. The spots next to us were wiped down by several different staff members while we waited-not a single person acknowledged us. When we decided to depart, I went to hand the hostess our menus. She simply took them without a word. We were so very disappointed and would be wary of returning.

Had a pretty disappointing experience Saturday night at Rosewater. Husband and I had a rare date night and stopped by to have a cocktail before heading home. We got there about 11:35-11:40. I walked up to the bar and ordered a couple drinks. The bartender told us ok go ahead and have a seat and someone will bring them to you. Husband used the restroom and then joined me at the table. (I know how long we had been waiting because I called him from the table while he was in the restroom to let him know I had gone to the other side to sit, so I have the timestamp) We were sitting there for at least ten minutes before someone came up to us and said the bartender said it s too late to make your drinks so she won t be making them I said oh. ok well we have been sitting here for a while and this lady super rudely snapped it s been 10 minutes then walked off. What the? Ok I mean it s not a huge deal if we got there too late but why did they take our order then and have us waiting for 20+ minutes? The place was still full, but regardless.. I wasn t trying to be a Karen or make it into a big deal so I talked to the manager, I asked for the ladies name that snapped at us and she said she wouldn t give it, not a problem I just wanted it so I could let the owner or whoever know and I m pretty sure they normally tell you their names when they wait on you. But anyway not a huge deal, I understand there are crazy people out there, the manager gave me a card so I could reach out to the owner or whoever is in charge. Again, why take our order and have us waiting just to tell us too bad you won t be getting the drinks you ordered? And why be so hostile? I certainly wasn t making a stink about it at all I just stated we had already been sitting and waiting for a while, I wasn t angry or rude at all. Anyway so that was disappointing and we won t be back. It would be one thing if the lady approached us and was just like hey sorry about that it s just too late I guess then fine, not her fault, but to snap at us and walk off when I was mid-sentence was super unprofessional and definitely not necessary. The bartender that took the order wasn t very pleasant either, again, if it was too late to come in then just say so, it s not a problem, I don t need the passive aggressive attitude, I m super friendly and understanding so that whole experience was pretty shitty.

We found our favorite craft bartender again!!! Miriam is the best, we lost her for a bit! The blackberry bourbon sour is refreshing and delicious! The juicy goth is soo good with its shishito undertones! Then there is the hellflower, we had it with the shishito gin and jalapeño, omg the spice up front and a medley of amazing flavors on the long finish! If you re a craft bar snob,like me, know that most of them suck at food. Not Rosewater! The food is as eclectic and interestingly delicious as the drink menu! Unusual and creative cocktails and snacks in a strip mall oasis. Vegetarian options: You can find multiple vegetarian options. The new falafel is amazing! Recently received excellent service from Bre & all the staff. Recent visit 6/18 a friend and I visited and she has a cast on her leg. The staff greeted us at the door and held the door for us to come in, which we kindly appreciated. Bre was so friendly and personable. If I had to pick one bar to go to for the rest of my life, I d pick Rosewater for sure. To start - the patio is so pretty. It s covered so heat during the summer isn t a problem and there are heat lamps so the chill during the winter isn t a problem either. The staff are all so friendly and seem to know a lot about the menu. Plus, I feel very safe here bringing my queer friends to have a nice, relaxing hang.

Very nice boutique bar with a great drink menu and snack items. Great outside seating area. Our first waitress was very attentive, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. (Very pretty red haired girl) She left, and the 2nd one came outside 5 different times and didnt look our way. Finally, i sent my husband in to get our check. As soon as she left us, she went straight back in, and the table beside us started chasing her. We will definitely go back, and I hope this post just brings awareness to be more aware of all the tables.

Great neighborhood spot to grab a drink. The patio was awesome with the fire pits and heaters. Drinks were inventive, unique and delicious. The espresso martini was miles above those that Ive tried elsewhere. That alone has inspired me to return. But the service was friendly and fast and the vibes were just right. The music was great but not so loud that you couldnt keep a conversation. The drink menu is extensive and I like that it shows what type of glass the drinks are served in. It was a little busy on a Saturday night but the service is on point that as soon as a table is freed up, its turned over and made available for the next guests. We cant wait to come back for another espresso martini!

There s not many places (near) Houston that are able to balance a great atmosphere with great drinks - but Rosewater nails it! (also their Serrano-infused tequila is TO DIE FOR!)

This place is a very cool little craft cocktail bar. They had a substantial menu of interesting and innovative drinks, and the ones we ordered were exceptionally delicious and well-executed by the bar staff. We also ordered a meat and cheese board, but we found that to be fairly mediocre and not worth the price. We did think the drink prices were quite good for the quality and execution, however. The overall ambiance of the venue is also quite pleasant, with a diverse clientele, neat decorations, and just a really chill vibe. The staff also seem warm, friendly, and totally unpretentious, which we really appreciated. We will be back very soon!

Outstanding bar and very quickly became one of our favorites over the years. Very glad to hear they are expanding their space. Update: went on St. Patricks Day because they had lots of green drinks and I was blown away again! I ordered two orders of hummus with extra Zhug (which makes it spicy) this time and too many drinks This place is amazing for drinks you cant get anywhere else! Rosewater sour is the best! The Gouda on the charcuterie board is to die for although it was all delicious! It had little salt crystals in it and has such a rich flavor so the winner on the board for sure! My favorite hummus Ive ever had is the spicy one here. It is freshly made in house and packed with flavor! Id eat it every day if I could!
