I had the opportunity to work with Mehdi on my ex-husbands immigration case, and I am compelled to share my positive experience. Despite facing significant challenges due to my ex-husbands lack of diligence and incorrigible behavior, Mehdi demonstrated remarkable patience, thoroughness, and competence throughout the process. Mehdis deep understanding of the inner workings of the USCIS and ICE systems was evident from the start. His ability to navigate these layered systems and provide clear guidance was instrumental in moving our case forward, even when setbacks and delays were caused by my ex-husbands irresponsibility. Both my mother-in-law and I tried to support the process as much as possible, and Mehdis professional demeanor and steadfast dedication were greatly appreciated. From beginning to end, Mehdis commitment to our case never wavered. He was always available to answer questions and provide updates, ensuring that we were well-informed at every stage. His thorough approach and strategic thinking gave us confidence that we were in capable hands. Though at times he grew displeased and annoyed with the trajectory of our case, and rightfully so. He was often busy and occasionally out of office for certain stents of time. There were times of delayed emails and phone responses, where his no nonsense approach was evident in addressing the issue, the concern and to end the phone call once addressed quite frankly. If you lack patience and understanding of one s time, especially in pressing matters, you might find these acts upsetting or off putting. For the most part, all things considered, I did not. However, If you seek yes men energy, exaggerated conversations and hand holding, this lawyer is probably not for you. Mehdi is compassionate and patient, yet very direct and blunt about what he needs and expects from you. I must add that I came to understand and appreciate a lawyer of his stature, especially given the intensity of the matter. Although the outcome was impacted by factors beyond Mehdis control, his efforts and representation were nothing short of commendable. I highly recommend Mehdi Cherkaoui to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and diligent immigration lawyer who will go above and beyond to achieve the best possible results. I bought a car that had a 3-day return policy, but the dealership refused to take it back. I then contacted Cherkaoui & Associates to explain the issue I was facing. He took the time to listen to my situation and frustration, and explained to me the steps needed to move forward. You know that moment of absolute terror when youre freaking out and have no idea whats going on with your USCIS case because you decided to file it on your own? Yea I went through that. But I made the right call to Mr. MEHDI who did his best this morning to reassure me that everything was going to be OK. Mind you, Im a Philadelphia resident and his office is all the way in Texas but he was still able to offer me a really relieving consultation on a busy Friday!! It has taken me a very long time to write this review, but honestly Mehdi is the worst and most arrogant lawyer ever! You can see it from the way he talks to you and the way he answers his emails...if he does. His case evaluation is all an act to stuff his pockets. He will settle and take the majority of the settlement. Go find a real law firm with more than one lawyer that has real experience Not recommended at all.. I bet the Good reviews he has here are paid for and not real clients, and of course he will respond that he never had my case. Edit: I was a client of yours, and the way you answered the review shows your arrogance and condescending attitude! I highly suggest that you Google how to respond to bad Google reviews. There are a lot of material thats free online. If I have paid attention when I hired you that you graduated from TSU, I would have never asked you to be my lawyer.

A lot of these so called reviews look fake, especially seeing most are from a year or two years ago. Anyways, I gave Mr. Cherkaoui a call yesterday after checking out his website, and it stated that he gave a free consultation and that an attorney would call you back within an hour. The latter didn t happen, I called his law office again today, and then he returned my phone call about an hour later. I guess since Mr. Cherkaoui has been practicing law for so long, he has forgotten that he is still offering a service that still requires some form of customer service. I find it very rude and a bit disrespectful to ask someone about their situation, only to keep interrupting them. Then turn around, and with an aggressive tone stating, you said this shop or this shop which one is it. If he had t kept interrupting me, and actually took the time to be patience and listen, like a decent lawyer would. He wouldn t have gotten confused on what I was trying to tell him. The case I m dealing with, the Individual has in fact made several DTPA violations and breach of contract. Mr. Cherkaoui got upset and felt that I got an aggressive tone. Nope not at all, I was talking to him in the same manner and tone that he was talking to me, while he kept interrupting. Funny thing is I wouldn t have had a problem pay a retainer fee, but if that how he talks and treats people, that is not someone I would want representing me Mr. Cherkaoui you should probably add to your website, that you don t take cases that you think are worth less than 10 thousand . Even when you don t have all the facts, paperwork and evidence. He also told me he didn t have to give me a free consultation, but yet he still stayed on the phone. Shouldn t have that listed on your website either, if that how you treat and talk to people on a regular. You have been practicing law for so long, but yet you didn t even know that the limit in small claims court is 10k in Texas. The whole experience was very distasteful and negative. I wouldn t recommend. Updated Response: Nice attempt at a counter argument, you were rude and extremely unprofessional over the phone, and try to put all the facts not partial. I ll stick to what I said these reviews you have are FAKE! Nope I didn t lie at all, I simple stated MY PERSONAL experience with you. You want to offer free consultation from your website, but then are rude over the phone.
