We went there for dinner tonight, ordered appetizer it was so so horrible, so so greasy, sent it back. Took forever to get our food. So disappointed with our food. Even the waiter was not attentive. Probably will not go back. Food

I don t know how to leave this review. I love the place and love the atmosphere but they are not a sports bar. If you want to watch the Astros or Texans play this is not the place to go. Asked to watch the Astros game and was told no because someone was watching the Bengals play football. The bar was empty with a total of 30 people. Maybe this is why it was so dead in a Sunday while both the Texans and the Astros were playing.

I regularly come to play pickleball here between 7-9pm, with friends and family and while I enjoy the facility, they have a great staff with great food and live music on weekend s regular i would recommend this place to anyone, there are a couple of improvements that could make the experience even better. The current lights tend to shine directly into your eyes, which can be distracting during gameplay. Installing taller lights with better angles would help tremendously. Additionally, adding some benches would provide a place to rest between games and attract more players to come out after sundown, especially with the summer heat making daytime play challenging. These small updates would really enhance the overall atmosphere for the community.

A group of us showed up for Steak Night this past Thursday. We had a few drinks and played some pool. The server was very attentive. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare, green beans and a salad. In general the food was good, but the steak looked like it was over cooked in an oven, then slathered with garlic butter. The price was a bit high for what you got. Quantity was ok, but the quality was lacking. Please teach your cook how to grill a steak. Drop the price a few dollars for a promotional Steak Night and make your money on the drink sales.

I went to see the band Nightbird perform with 2 friends. It was a hot evening, so if you sit outside, get under a fan. They had seating inside, but it was very smoky from the kitchen. The concert was in the grove, which was a decent venue. The stage is rustic and cool and the area is pleasant. They kept the tables a bit far back, so those bringing their chairs to sit in the open area were fairly far from the stage. They serve food in the grove, but its a limited menu, different from the main restaurant. We wanted items from the main menu, so ordered our food to go and ate at our table in the grove. The staff were very friendly, and quite busy. It took a few minutes before we could order food. The woman at the bar seemed put out that we went to her to place an order, saying a wait staff would take the order, but she could do it if we needed her to. Seems like most places you order to go at the bar. The wait staff were busy with their tables, so we had to wait a bit to place our order. Then it took nearly half an hour to get our food. The show was going to start in 5 minutes, so I got the attention of the server to inquire on the status of our order. He checked and stated they were getting it ready. They did a great job placing our 3 orders in a nice bag with all the condiments and everything we needed, but only gave us a few serviettes for napkins. We took a few sheets of paper towels from one of the tables. The food was very good. I had sliders with fries. I wanted tots, but they charge a dollar more for tots, and Ive never seen anyone do that, so I went with fries, which were quite good. The buns were amazing and the meat was very good. Sharon enjoyed her sandwich and Meagan loved her salad with chicken added. Somehow, they ran out of ice, so it was the talk of the grove. We did manage to get some ice...I think they felt bad for the long wait to get our food. I assume they were hoarding ice for the bar drinks. The grounds also have a golf driving range with lessons, a sand pit for volleyball, corn hole, and some guys were playing pickleball.

I have loved this place since I first set foot here. This is a place where the whole family can really enjoy themselves from the food and drinks, to the activities and events. Its impossible not to befriend the staff and become a regular here!!! Kid-friendliness: There is a wooden play structure in a sand pit, 2 volleyball courts worth of sand, several corn-hole toss game setups, a huge grass field setup with soccer goal frames and nets, a putting green, and a driving range. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level: table seating, bars, bathroom. All should be easily accessible in a wheelchair. Bathroom is spacious and the hall inside leading to it is as well. Bathroom access through the door on the right side of the bar, walk straight ahead and around the left corner and its on your left.

The sourdough buns are amazing! Huge burgers. Side salad was big and had good variety. Great courteous service. Fun activities/play space for kids. Patio is hot despite fans, live music was good but a bit too loud. Could use captions on if the tvs are going to be on. Would definitely recommend, except the flies are horrible. Ruined what was otherwise an overall great experience. Kid-friendliness: Large play space with slide, sand, soccer field, and volleyball courts. Slide structure is pretty worn and starting to lean.

The food, drinks, and service was awful, the band was Amazing. The staff that was putting the silverware in the napkins were not wearing gloves while touching their face and sweat(it was hot). Our server forgot our drinks 3 times (it took approx 30 minutes) each time he came back to our table. The food seemed liked it was cooked the day before. Awful The draft beer tasted RANK and found out that it hadnt been cleaned for a day. The bottle beer tasted aged as well. Sitting outside in the summer of hard, but when you are serving food with the entrance open, Im sure the large bugs that flew on out table somehow made it inside. I am usually not picky, but this was such an awful experience, I felt the need to share it with the public.

We came here for the first time yesterday. It was sweltering hot and their main indoor area was entirely reserved for a party. Johnny was our server and found us an inside table. The air flow wasn t great so he went and found a fan for us. It was a lifesaver, as the kids were starting to fall apart from the heat. In addition to this accommodation, his service was impeccable. He knew the menu, was attentive, polite, and prompt. I would return just to have Johnny wait on us again. Hopefully when it s not so hot so the kiddos can enjoy the fun outdoor things!

Went to the Grove at Swannys to see Escape, Houstons Journey Tribute band. Enjoyed some drinks and great music in a great atmosphere! First time visiting and this place looks awesome. And very family friendly! Had a great time! There is a small river nearby so being an outdoor venue we were sure to put on bug spray. Werent bothered by any bugs at all. Only negative was - we had a table for two and were not expecting it to be a high top. Table and stools were quite wobbly. Regardless, we would definitely go back - with our own chairs! Parking apparently fills up quick so recommend getting there early!

I visited this bar yesterday and the bartender working ID my friends and I (which is fine) however, she stated my Wisconsin ID is fake and it s 100 real and I have recently moved to Texas. She refused to believe I was 27 and proceeded to ask me questions which was ridiculous. She asked me how long I have lived in Wisconsin for and how long have I been in Texas for? And then refused service to me. As a bartender myself, she should be educated and aware of different state IDs.

I have to say... we LOVE the food at this place, but the service is consistently GARBAGE. If you want anything, you have to flag down a different server because yours will definitely ignore you. This time, however, was the WORST service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Literally... fast food workers are more competent. This big, fat woman took SO long to do ANYTHING. It took well over an hour (about 1.5 hours) to get our food, and when we asked for ranch, it took her another 15 minutes to come back, by which time our food was already cold, and god forbid we wanted some mayo and enough tomato to actually cover our burgers... by then everything was congealed and disgusting. And then... she brought us the milkshake we ordered... which was already melted, with what looked like flavor syrup in the bottom inch of the glass and everything congealed above it, and it was spilling everywhere, all over the table, as she put it down. I touched it and it just started dumping out like a volcano from under the whipped cream that had clearly sat in the glass so long it was sealing the goop inside. Not to mention the fact that there were SO MANY FLIES that the entire 30+ minutes we waited for this fat woman to waddle her way back to the table was spent swatting them away, with no attempts by the restaurant to mitigate the evident infestation. And on top of all of that disastrous mess... when I tried to talk to a manager to explain my disgust and frustration, without even raising my voice I might add, he just kept telling me I need to calm down. Please... tell me when, in the history of humanity, has telling a woman, especially a pregnant woman, to calm down, has actually resulted in calmness, not absolute fury. Every aspect of this visit was horrific and it is absolutely tragic, because the intention of the restaurant is fantastic and the food... genuinely great. But honestly... the service is beyond abysmal and the manager, sitting and drinking at the bar along with several uniformed staff members, while guests are not being taken care of... that is just embarrassing for the establishment. They need to step up their level of cleanliness and professionalism, because it is destroying what would otherwise be an incredible place to eat with family.

Definitely a great place for families. Theres a playground, soccer field, sand volleyball and the menu, although limited is decent food. We had burgers for all 4 of us and they were pretty good. There was only one server/host and we was very respectful and attentive and working hard to meet everyones requests. We would definitely be back when we are in the area.

I have been to your venue multiple times for a concert. Last night was the first time we splurged for a table last night was the first time there was no waitresses serving drinks. No one was taking food orders and no one was busing tables now I paid extra for this table and service every time I wanted something I had to walk away from the show walk well over 100 foot away not that I m lazy but this is why I reserved the table so I would have the service, I was a little disappointed and once again the beer was not cold other than that I like the venue the band sound good the food is good nice atmosphere. I will be back, but that was my take away from last night.

Swannys the Grove Review- Nice atmosphere and general admission is somewhat decent but do not come thirsty or hungry. We spent over an hour standing in line for water and snacks. There were 2 ppl running the counter with no organization whatsoever and one guy on the grill. Upgrading to a table is not worth it since there is no table service. Considered eating at the grill but the kitchen was backed up over an hour. By the time we were called to come back to the counter to pick up the food is was an overcooked dry burger and a quesadilla without much cheese. Menu is very limited and they dont want you ordering from the grill and bringing it over to the grove. If they got the service more organized and flowing better I might consider trying again.. Now if outside food/drink was allowed then it would be worth it.

Food is great with your standard American favorites. The service can be slow at times when they get packed which happens often because this play is so good its always full. Literally every day of the week towards the end of the day the parking lot here gets full. The atmosphere is great with a playground for kids, volleyball for everyone, golf, and live music.

Ive been here plenty of times, it used to be my spot in my high school days, so I know Swannys is a good spot with a great outdoor atmosphere- and Ill always have a soft spot for establishments that hang my US Army flag proudly. Unfortunately it cant be a very strong spot for St. Patricks Day, and I just wanted to have a beer with my father. We opened a tab at the bar as soon as we sat down, but 20 minutes later from that- ready to order and were making eye contact with servers in hope that we will be helped. To no avail, and it was to be expected somewhat, however there were clear opportunities to serve us. It would seem it was not a priority, rather the patreons sitting at the bar far longer than us were more important to the servers running. I would not let this deter you from Swannys however, it still is the spot for my old service buddies and I from time to time, and has been the spot since my teenage days. The food and atmosphere is worth it, especially on a day that feels nice. Parking: The lot overall is pretty tight, sometimes youll have to make do with parking in the grass if you have a big truck. Motorcyclists have really only one spot they can get away with and its right in front of the entrance.

Alexsis was AMAZING!!!! NOT ONLY did she meet mine and my friend expectations she also went above and beyond them! She was super kind and energetic while being swamped with other customers. She came out and told us all about the history and greatness about the place. She gave us great recommendations about the food She is an awesome person as well as a leader. Ive owned my own business for 17 years and I Call it how I see it. Its hit or miss here. Sometimes the service is great & other times we have left because no one ever came to our table. Breakfast is my favorite here. Drinks are good & its a fun atmosphere. I just wished they were more organized!

Swannys has grown their food and entertainment opportunities big time over the last few years! They still have a nice mixture of indoor and outdoor (covered) dinning, but have added an outdoor stage and concert area. Very nice for Friday or Saturday night dinner and watch a local band.

Great place to take your kids, have a drink and listen to live music (Tuesday is open mike night) Beach volleyball, kids play area, putting green on other side. Pool tables inside. I only went inside for bathroom so dont know what else is there. My only problem is they dont have frozen drinks.

We were there for the Texas Eagles band and had a lovely time. There was a slight hiccup with kitchen-to-table logistics, but our server was very good and worked things out wonderfully. All in all a great time.

Came for the Fab 5 event. Band was stellar, service at the venue was so disappointing... especially after paying for a VIP table. Ordered water and it didnt arrive for 50 minutes... at 30min I walked inside and carried 4 waters back out for my table. Food didnt arrive until 90min after ordering and came out one meal at a time... and some would get their main dish and had to wait another 15min to get their sides. Some parts of our orders just never arrived. Im so disappointed since this was supposed to be a special birthday event for a family member and I felt really dumb for picking this place. At least the band was enjoyable. I honestly wish I could have my VIP table partially refunded since the entire reason I got it-- table service-- was poor to nonexistent.

It was a great venue for The Fab 5. They were fantastic. However, the service was horrible. I think the restaurant didn t anticipate the size of the crowd and was overwhelmed. DO NOT pay for a VIP table. We did and it was a huge waste as our food was not delivered until into the 2nd set. And the server forgot basics like ice and silverware. Bottles of water were paid for and served room temperature. The band was great but the restaurant was a disappointment.

Crawfish was flavorless. I do not recommend it. It was like they just put it in water to boil. It was dirty, and it looked that they didnt even purge it. I ordered a drink and they took so long to bring it. They forgot about it. We had to ask for it several times. We also had a burger and beef nachos they were pretty good. The atmosphere was good. Live music. We will be back but not for crawfish for sure.
