Absolutely terrific. I was craving this style of cuisine but could not find anyone who is signed up with delivery services except *drumroll* PHO #1. The food is fairly priced, large portions and incredibly delicious. I m so happy I found them on the Favor App! I was able to have it delivered and they also give you all your cutlery and everything so you re ready to eat. Love it. Thank you for the amazing service and meal! I ll be ordering food from here much more often, most likely delivery!

I do like most of these dishes, but have found them not to be very authentic in flavor. Example- Yellow curry has a ton of celery completely changing the flavor Ive had at every other place Ive ordered it.

This was my first visit and definitely not my last. My fellow fa and I have never been to this layover, and we were both craving some pho. We ordered the appetizer spring rolls (w/ only shrimp and no cilantro). We first ordered our drinks. We are both lemon/ lime water lovers, so thats what we chose to start w/. Unfortunately, the water that was brought to us had a very unpleasant chlorine taste. After I got the waiters attention, he apologized and asked me if Id like bottled water instead. I thanked him and agreed to the bottled water. To my pleasant surprise, he brought a fresh clean glass of ice and some limes. It was very appreciated and unexpected. After looking over the menu for a while, we each decided on a soup. She chose the meatball pho, and I ordered the house special egg noodle soup that comes w/ chicken, pork, and shrimp. It was very tasty. Especially w/ the banh mi sandwich I chose to pair it w/. Overall, it was a great place, awesome customer service, and care, very accommodating, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving this Vietnamese/ Thai Restaurant a try if youre looking for some tasty food and good service. My son and I went to try it out and it was really good. It was our first time here and well definitely be back. Great customer service. The environment is very calm. And the food is delicious. I got the special of Mushroom and zucchini with chicken with steamed white rice. The portion sizes are huge so youre definitely getting your moneys worth. My dish was packed with so much flavor and the mushrooms and zucchini were so soft and tender. The perfect amount of chicken and the steamed rice was perfectly cooked. My son got the sliced medium rare beef noodle soup served with rice noodle, green and red onion and some cilantro. I tasted his soup and it had a well balanced flavor of everything. You can definitely taste the onion and cilantro in the broth but it was not overwhelming at all, it was really good. Overall I would definitely recommend you try this place.

The yellow Thai curry here is amazingg (so rich & creamy); its a large portion for a great price and can be prepared without fish oil (for those with dietary restrictions / allergies). Pho #1 Vietnamese & Thai Restaurant exceeded our expectations during our recent visit. We indulged in the Pho Rau Cai and Hoänh Thánh soup, and every spoonful was a burst of flavor. The depth of the broth and the freshness of the ingredients were amazing! While the Fried tofu and chicken lettuce wrap were enjoyable, they didnt quite steal the show as the soups did. Nonetheless, they were a decent addition to our meal. Overall, Pho #1 impressed us with their delicious offerings and attentive service. Well definitely be returning to explore more of their menu!

I doubt youll read a PHO review from someone who has traveled and eaten PHO as often as I have. Im not bragging its just fact. I review about half the places I go and Ive reviewed a few dozen places around North America. I didnt try the other couple PHO places in this town but for the price... this Pho is for sure above average from what Ive experienced. I had the classic Pho Tai. GOOD portion size, properly pre cooked noodles with proper amount of noodles, and a good amount of meat as well. The broth although not perfect in my opinion, is not to be considered unflavored as perhaps another reviewer mentioned. It was salted just right. Id say their execution here of the Pho dish is above average. I wish they had Thai basil but they did provide a healthy portion of cilantro on the side. Again, for the money... easily above average. No shame here. Good parking and quick service too. 1st pic is the normal bowl, 2nd pic is their extra large. To me the extra large is not big enough and does not justify the cost. If you want lots buy two regular bowls in my opinion.

Smells of fabuloso when you walk in, not my favorite while I eat. Strong odors like this do not enhance tasting food, it detracts. Pho was done well, egg roll was good, the pork Bahn mi not so good, the flavor was just too sweet and soy, nothing special, and the bread was not good. Looked like a Pepperidge farms hoagie from HEB. A bolillo would have been fine, this bread was junk. For $8 bucks it was a waste. I wouldnt give it a second try just because of the fabuloso. Big pass for me.

A truly amazing experience. We came on a Saturday night and it wasn t packed at all. The service was professional and friendly. For appetizers we got fried pork dumplings and tofu spring rolls, which were both awesome. The peanut sauce was a 10/10. I got the pho with flank and meatballs, which had a great flavor and the meatballs didn t have those huge pieces of fat that you see some places, which was a relief. My boyfriend got the Vermicelli with Marinated Char-Grilled Pork and it was AMAZING. The dish is served cold with fresh cooked pork and the flavors were awesome. It tasted super fresh and savory with the mix of veggies and pork. My boyfriend and I switched meals halfway through dinner because we liked what the other had better.

Erica my server, for the two times I was there, was very friendly and an awesome server. Fast and friendly, she was very patient with us and would stop by every minutes to make sure we have every thing we ordered and if we needed refills for our beverages. This is a small out-of-the-way restaurant that from the outside doesn t have a great curb appeal, but once you step inside, you re in it nice, elegant atmosphere. The walls are decorated with nice artwork, and the accent, lighting and music are just outstanding for a nice relaxing meal. tonight I had the cashew nut chicken with a glass of Thai iced tea. So here s the thing - it s clean. The waitresses are nice and attentive. But, in my opinion, it s overpriced for the flavors they serve. (I ve eaten at several Vietnamese restaurants in different cities) We ordered the Pad-Thai which was not served with limes and I couldn t taste the flavor of fish sauce nor tamarind. We also ordered sesame chicken which came bright red, which makes me believe they make the sauce either with ketchup, tomato paste or a sweet and sour sauce. If so, the flavors are not authentic. The tab was $75. FOR LUNCH! In Harlingen. Which was a shock, but as he is ringing up tabs one cannot see the numbers he is punching in. My husband came back home with the receipt, looked up their menu and calculated. With taxes and tip, we were yet somehow charged $13 over. It wasn t my first time here. I ve never ordered the pho, which seems to be the most popular dish, so I can t comment on that. But I won t be returning.

Very tasty food. They can make pretty much everything as vegetarian meal. However if the menu item starts with V it seems to be vegetarian anyways. Very friendly staff If you pay by credit card theres a surcharge of 4 percent so go with cash if you want to save some money Vegetarian options: Look for menu items starting with V. Pho #1 is such a lovely place to get Vietnamese and Thai food. I usually get the pho (#7 well done meat on the menu) and it never dissapoints. Don t let the outside fool you! Very nice inside; very pretty, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent I loved the fried rice fresh and smooth flavor; and the fried Tofu Sandwich topped with veggies. I also enjoyed the vanilla Boba tea (not too sweet but still delicious!) and they have a wide variety of flavors. The Pho#1 was also very good. Reasonably priced the only drawback being an extra 3.99% charge for credit. All in all a clean, tasteful, finely decorated restaurant, with excellent food and good prices.

Horrible paid 20 dollars for shrimp fried rice. Rice was maid poorly and the amount was a side they would serve at a actual restaurant. The shrimp was artificial, small and falling apart with my spoon. The egg roll was 2 dollars for a mini you would finish in one bite.

The broth is good, but you can buy good broth at HEB for $2.00. I made the mistake of ordering the Pho Seafood. 2 sticks of broken up IMITATION CRAB STICKS. $2.00 @ HEB. Who does that? It says CRAB on the menu. 3 Shrimp, 2 chewy pcs., of what I assume was calamari. $15.95. If you want delicious fresh seafood soup, do yourself a favor and go to Port of Brownsville instead. For 11.00, you can get a big bowl of fresh seafood (not just noodles and broth.) Its a rip off.

Wow! Pretty good Vietnamese in Harlingen?? Who would have thought. Its not going to win any awards, but likely the best Ive had in a long time so there are definitely points there. Fast, clean, great service. I had the pork fried dumplings. They were a bit gummy, but on the other side of that they were quite tasty and I enjoyed the sauce. For the entre I went with the B30: 30. Vermicelli with Marinated Char-grilled Shrimp. It was VERY fresh, tasty and hit the spot. The shrimp were way over cooked, but they made up for it with a fantastic seasoning. I would definitely return and advise anyone who likes Asian food to stop by if they are in Harlingen.

Honestly we came here because we wanted a nice spicy thai curry. We both ordered the orange curry. Mine came out thick and rich, and my husbands came out watery. The vegetables were basically raw inside the curry. The curry was not spicy, at all, which was extremely disappointing. It was actually overly sweet and disgusting. Sweet chicken is not something we were looking for.

I was looking forward to eating here because of the reviews...I was disappointed. We tried a few dishes Bahn Mi (pork), chicken curry w/rice, small pho, and fried noodle dish and all I can say is I really liked their sweet tea. Their bahn mi didnt taste at all like a vietnamese sandwich, it lacked flavour, the chicken curry tasted like coconut milk with chicken and the fried noodle dish sauce was super salty. The pho didnt taste like pho at all. My search continues for a great pho vietnamense restaurant.
