Food was really good and received our order in a timely manner. The restaurant was not that busy but it felt like we were being rushed by the waitress. Then we got charged for a meal that we did not order and didnt notice until I got home. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager and he answered hello and immediately hung up on me. Service can definitely be better.

This place has good food and drinks. However, if they want to attract any of the thousands of Winter Texans from the area, they will need to reduce the noise level some. Its too loud to attempt to have a decent conversation which will keep a lot of folks from returning. I dont understand why restaurants dont understand this concept. People of all ages like to talk to each other when they dine, and loud music or other loud noise isnt a pleasant dining experience.

Today Sept 29, 2024 11:15 am was our first time to visit Walk-ons in Harlingen TX. Couldn t have been a better experience. From the hostess. To our server Kenya E to the manager. Kenya made sure we were well taken care of. The manager stopped by and checked on us. Suggested the Mad Mary which was fabulous. One of the best we ve ever had. Food was outstanding. All in all great experience.

We have gone to Walk-On twice and each time the food and service was outstanding I gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because of the noise level. It was difficult to visit because it was too loud in the restaurant, but not enough to not continue going.

I was highly impressed today and that never happens, restaurants always disappoint in some way. I really hope they keep up the great work. Everything was great from the service to the food, even the manager was personable and came to check on us. I highly recommend this place. Our server was JASMIN. It started off good until it came to our bill. She was charging my friend an extra beer that she didn t drink. She had the beer bottles in front of her and Jasmin still insisted. The manager came and told us oh you only drank 2 and she still charged her 3 . I spoke to the manager and he was very nice and himself said she drank 2.

Went for a date night. Everything was great!! Food was delicious, only bad part was deciding what to order because all the choices sounded so good. Ended up ordering buffalo wings which were super good. I ordered shrimp poboy and hubby ordered a Hangover Burger. Both came with delicious waffle fries!! It was a lot of food. We will probably share next time. I loved that the bread on the poboy sandwich was thin. We will definitely bring our kids on the next visit :)

This place was great! I got the Louisiana Platter and it was so good! I highly recommend it. Also the service was outstanding , we had Katlynn R, she was so sweet and cute and very helpful since it was our first time going there and she was just so kind to walk us through the menu. First time trying this place out and the food is good but the service was not great. The waitress took our order and has not been back to our table to check on us or has not given us any napkins or utensils. Multiple TVs which is awesome, take your mine off of the long wait for our food. The food arrived and still no utensils. My wife had to get up and get napkins at the front. The salmon was undercooked and the green beans were drenched in oil. Way overpriced.

I gotta say that coming here I was a bit hesitant, but OMG all the food is amazing. I shared my plate and it was enough for 2 people. The Louisiana Platter was delicious. Nthe catfish is perfectly battered. The hush puppies are breaded jalapeno honey corn bread which are amazing. The waffle fries are great. And the shrimp is delicious. Not to mention the jalapeno cheese dip is incredible. I will definitely return again to devour my next meal. This restaurant is an easy 9 out of a a perfect 10. This Cajun restaurant is gonna be a contender down here in the RGV. Not to mention all the TVs in here for sports is crazy. Plus the cold beer is chilled to perfection. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I came to the new location for a date night and it was amazing! Our server Okaidi was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and super funny. She made the night so much better and we hope we get sat in her section the next time we come. Definitely recommend asking to be sat in her section! She just made regular customers of us

Okaidi was our server and she was fun, her suggestions were on point and we will definitely be back thanks to her fun attitude. Atmosphere is pretty cool, but the food needs help when it comes to wings we asked for flats only on one flavor and we were told NOPE they were still good. Typical sportsbar with typical bar food. The property is open, clean, and welcoming, just like their other location. The Cajun menu is straightforward and pretty darn good! The military discount (pardon the pun) is the B.. Its a simple menu with plenty of screens to watch sports all the way up to ESPN The Ocho!! The World Champion Cornhole competition... Really?? Plotted. Scouts Out. Vegetarian options: Didnt see any rabbits. Parking: ADA COMPLIANT. Kid-friendliness: Loud but kinder friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully ADA compliant.

I walked in to walk ons to reserve seating for 30 people for next week. Our resort does a park night out dinner once a month. We like to stay local and support the businesses here. Since Walk-On is new to the area we were excited to try it out. Upon my inquiry about seating, the mgr instantly said we can not accommodate that amount of people. But could eat on the patio, at 90+ degrees? She never asked a time or what day it was just no. Oh well, lost our parks business. Not good business . Can only rate service . Update: I was contacted by owner and sent a link to make things right, that does not work. Typed in http address and there is no contact form to submit as indicated. If the Owner wanted input to make things right, you should not have to jump through hoops to do it.

Some of the food was great! But the one I ordered, crawfish etouffe was not enough crawfish (very tiny) I ate it all up and had to order something else (bacon wrapped shrimp w grits! The shrimp was tasty and the grits stole the show!!! Best tasting grits EVER!! since they just opened Ill give them 4 out of 5 stars but, do recommended, great food, especially the grits lol

Today was my 1st time eating at a Walk-Ons and it was delicious. My waitress Abby was super nice and helpful. She actually helped me decide on what to get bc I couldnt make up my mind. She suggested the Black Jack chicken sandwich which hit the spot! Good food, amazing waitress and very relaxing atmosphere. Ill definitely be back!
