Everything about this place is amazing! The location is perfect, right in the corner, the vibe is so nice, the decor is very chic, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious. I recommend the duck, apples and brie cheese sandwich with a chill glass of wine. Glad I stopped by during my visit.

Ive done take-out from Laurel Park Bistro, but today was my first time for in-person dining. Coming at 1:00 PM, an hour before closing and just after the rush, we were greeted with fantastic hospitality. Service was well timed and there was no moment where we felt not taken care of. The food was stunning and carefully curated. We had the soup of the day, french toast, and bread service. For the drinks, the french pressed coffee along with a mimosa and a orange-citrus wine cocktail, were exquisite. The alcoholic drinks were not too strong nor was it entirely fruity. The food never leaned into any path too strongly. Everything felt like it had passion and mindful care for it. This is a testament to the amazing quality of Laurel Park Bistro. Would recommend and go again!

The parking is rather limited so plan your trip. Better to have a reservation. We did not have a reservation. We were seated fairly quickly though. This was my first time here. The menu from what I was told changes daily. I ordered the French Toast Royale it was amazing and the best I ever had. My wife had the Quiche Florentine. It was so delicious and fluffy. Overall we would eat there again. Probably try and go there as soon as it opens to avoid parking limitations. Parking: About 10 parking spots

The food rivals that of Chez Antoinette Victoria in London. The hostess gives beyond five-star service and is super nice. The atmosphere is lovely. We sat by the French doors with a view of their budding produce garden. Its basically a five-star restaurant disguised as a Harlingen cafe. Vegetarian options: We had the quiche florentine with salad, truffle fries, and coffee creme brulee. Wheelchair accessibility: Gently sloping ramp to the door and freestanding bistro tables.

Excellent egg croissant made by a world renowned chef who studied French cuisine at one of the top Culinary Institutes in the world (NY). Everything served there is delicious. Plan to make reservations on the weekend as they get busy and seating is limited. Steak and fritattas were A+. Well worth the price! Their tea is the best too. Ask for syrup to sweeten it. Lovin this bistro experience.

This may be the single best executed meal I have ever had. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The salmon. The French toast. I could not have asked for better quality of product or value. A perfect brunch. Went there again today, 11 months later. Still perfect. We had the bread pudding and the pumpkin ice cream this time for dessert. The bread pudding is more custard than bread, the ice cream is a perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Laurel Park Bistro in Harlingen Texas, is wonderful French - American restaurant. The staff is friendly accommodating and very cordial. Given its location, they have attempted and succeeded at paying attention to the smallest details. Everything from the French linen napkins to the fresh flowers was absolutely perfect. The menu offers a variety of wonderful foods, but to me the true test of an accomplished chef is their ability to cook a truly French omelet. While an omelet sounds deceivingly simple, it is a technical skill that can showcase, a chef s abilities. Let me tell you, in technical ability the omelet was perfect, in addition to being delicious. I cant wait to return and sample all the other dishes. About the only criticism I could have about the restaurant is that, with its incredible dishes, they will soon be unable to accommodate all the people that will want to go there. The restaurant is tiny. I kind of hope everyone ignores this review and goes somewhere else JK .

Hostess made a big deal over us not having reservations and acted like she was doing us a favor by letting us eat there even though the only 2 customers there were just walking out. Menu is limited and pricey. Items in picture were over $50. Coffee lukewarm and water glass had lipstick on it. Menu limited but tasted good. Greens were fresh and eggs delicious. It is nice to have something different for breakfasr and I am more than willing to pay top dollar for good food, good service, and cleanliness but not so much for pretentiousness especially when the food isnt any better than something I could make myself. I will not be back.

First time having brunch here and the abeyance was nice I love there decore . Now the server was nice but she was very uniformed of her menu. She said they had run out of French toast so I ordered chocolate waffles. She comes back and says they dont have any and it will be a 30 minute wait if I would like some. So I tell her I will wait she then goes to the kitchen and comes back and tells me that the wait is actually 1 hour. She then tell me about a delicious blueberry croissant if I would like to try it so I tell her thats fine Ill try that. Five minutes past by and the manager comes to our table with an attitude repeated the same thing the server told us about the chocolate waffles raising her voice. I felt she was doing that so we can stop asking for the waffles. Her excuse for not having the chocolate waffles was that they had a big party so thats why they were not going to make any more waffles batter. There should be no excuse or blame it on a big party why the chef decides not to make an item on the menu endless they run out of the ingredients. I felt the manager made it feel that the big party was more important than the rest of the customers. Time passed by, and the food came out. it was delicious, nothing to complain about the food. By the time we finished, the manager came to our table, and asked us if we needed anything, and I told her yes I just needed the blue berry croissant. She then leaves, and 20 minutes later passes by and the server comes and asks us if we were ready for our ticket. I was confused because I was still waiting for my croissant. so I asked her, to just cancel the croissant and she apologized, that she had forgotten about it, and thought the manager had brought it over to our table. We then proceeded to pay and left with a bad taste of their service.

Walked in for a late lunch and grabbed a Jambon-Buerre sandwich, a traditional French Sandwich of ham and cheese on a buttered baguette. A simple sandwich made with quality ingredients that made me wish I had time to grab a blanket and sit and eat it in the park. It was delicious! The unassuming building hides a gem that inside welcomes you with bright blue walls, Pinterest worthy menu boards and a friendly staff. A small menu of sandwiches, salads and pastries await you. Coffee and limited beverages available.
