I like the brisket taco. Soft, moist. But I think its a bit pricey for just a taco and no side or a drink. I also wish the charro beans were NOT spicy! I really dont understand why many restaurants make them spicy. I am allergic to the spices and just want to enjoy the beans.

This restaurant is such an amazing place to eat as it has much variety from sliced meat sandwiches, baked potatoes, tacos and they even sell breakfast as well!! There is also a bar so if you want to catch up with friends and have an appetite for BBQ with drinks, this is a great spot. Keep in mind that its a bit pricey but overall, its well worth it. Everyone works hard in this restaurant and the staff is very attentive to the customers needs. I always look forward to coming here and enjoying a great meal Parking: Theres plenty of space to park but around 5pm or 6pm, thats when it gets a little crowded to find parking. Handicap parking is also available Kid-friendliness: Environment is absolutely kid friendly. High chairs are available for infants and plenty of space for a big family Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is available for ease of access

I did a drive through order today 9/12 at around 5:45-6. I paid $32 for brisket that was full of fat, and super dry chicken. I also ordered sweet tea. The tea was old. It was also cloudy so either they used bad water or I go back to it being old. I call and told them and they said they don t make new tea until it s all gone. So I said if they knew it was old they should ve said they had none. She said well it s because we haven t had many people ordering sweet tea today and then she hung up. I will never go back. I tried to give them a chance by calling, and I was dismissed.

My first time trying Reynas and I must say I was truly disappointed. The portion size was very small, and the brisket was some of the worst Ive had. Dry and flavorless. My friend had the fajitas, and she said they tasted old as if they were from the day before. It was a large order and there was no salsa or bbg sauce or even Forks included. Pretty lousy food, Disappointing in comparison to the price, we wont be going back.

Service was great! My father uses a walker, and the staff were extremely accommodating. They even brought us a sample of their new coleslaw to try, and offered a bag to put our leftovers when we left. Overall very nice staff and amazing food, as always!

Came in a gain for a good dinner, and as usual, the brisket bowl is so good i couldnt finish it. But I do recommend it very tasty. Still good customer service and well served dish with a flour tortilla or corn your choice. As always so delish that fully loaded potato was so good, i added more trimmings and sheesh perfect and just right. Thank you, Reynas. Was very good food, yes it is pricey, but this place does their dishes very well served, and I really enjoyed my Brisket Bowl. So good Came back and tried the bake potato w moist brisket and OMG, so it was so delish well worth it. yall give it a try, but you must be super hungry because it is a lot.

Ladies Luncheon today from our RV Park about 18 of us. All very disappointed with our food. French Fries cold, over cook and extremely limp. Corn on cobb very cold and Not sweet corn with no butter. Brisket was ok but it to was very cold. Was my 2nd time there and I was not satisfied. Last chance. My bill was $16.99 for a cold brisket sandwich and a drink....sad

Reyna s BBQ in Weslaco is almost a weekly visit for my family and I. It is absolutely delicious and great overall but the Harlingen location is far from it! Their sweet/unsweet tea was horrible, tasting like dirty faucet water. Their meat (turkey) potato was just ok (nothing compared to the Weslaco one). Potato was not as tender and meat portion was small. Asked for no cheese on the potato but some cheese was thrown on it looked like they accidentally added it but then picked it out. Asked for lean brisket on the meat bowl yet each slice of brisket had fat on it. Ladies restroom was not very clean. The layout of the restaurant offered no flow to traffic. Wasted space with 3 side stations (pickles, onions, etc). You find yourself cluttered. The space is just too congested.

I m very disappointed, we bought 2 Chopped Brisket Sandwiches by drive thru, it looks delicious but it s hard to eat because the bbq sauce is too spicy. I always buy the sandwich because the other times they weren t spicy. Now we need to spend more money for our dinner. :(

First time here and the service was GREAT! Our cashier was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! The place was clean but the straw dispenser was empty, and the little plastic containers for the BBQ was out. The place was well lit, clean and all the tvs worked and were on. We ordered the 2 meat plate, added the jalapeño cheese sausage, ribs and fajita tacos. Food was good, ribs were a little cold, and the chicken had a different taste....all in all we enjoyed it and will come back.

First and last time going here. The service was ok. I guess. Ordered the brisket slices and was sooo disappointed. My brisket was dry, tasteless and honestly had more fat on it then actual meat. I found myself picking those fatty bits off the brisket and in the end was only left with a couple tiny pieces for my sandwich. The food was horrible. Extra spicy and we do not eat spicy food. I ordered panchitos and they were horrible. Way too spicy couldnt eat them. I ordered chicken nuggets off the childrens menu and the nuggets were hard, got the beans as a side not knowing they were spicy and fed them to my grandson who is not even 2. Didnt know they were spicy. Noone told me. I asked for rice and got fries saturated in oil. Horrible. The only good thing i got was the cream corn and sprite. The wings were horrible. Spent 34.00 on food that was uneaten. Had to throw it away. So much for dinner. Money wasted. Never again will i go there. After hearing friends tell me how great the food was decided to go to Harlingen and see for myself. Brisket sandwich was skimpy on the brisket I was surprised. There was a party going on so maybe that s why. Chopped sandwich was good. The sides: Most BBQ places have about the same quality brisket, meat, etc, I look at the sides! Potato salad was so disappointing. Not homemade and for having 3 or 4 local locations come on . Same potato salad Rudy s sells. Charro beans were very watery, not typical South Tex charro beans. Bits of jalapeño make them too spicy for kids. Tiny bits of bacon were visible. Not impressed. Cole slaw, was just ok. Onion rings were really good, Corn on the cob was 1/2 a full cob of corn from frozen section of grocery store. Will maybe return to try some of the Tex Mex menu items. I was expecting better. Sorry Reyna s you just didn t impress.

I have heard a lot about this spot but found my visit to be just ok. I ordered my meal to go, but this location had a good ambiance to it and plenty of parking and seating. The meal itself had some ups and downs. Their wings are super timy, but pack a lot of flavor, and that coleslaw and banana pudding are just no. Onion rings were also a good bite. Overall, may try again for their brisket, but Im not too sure the juice is worth the squeeze with this one.

When I think of BBQ, I envision masterful creations; however, Reynas fell short in my experience. The ribs were dry with the same seasoning as the pulled pork; they tasted like store-bought BBQ sauce and lacked a smoky flavor. The pulled pork was also dry, shared the same seasoning as the dry rub ribs, and lacked a smoky flavor. The sliced brisket was dry, lacked a smoke ring, smoky flavor, bark, and was flavorless. The mac and cheese seemed store-bought, and the potato salad was passable. Overall, the performance of BBQ and Texas style wasnt there by any means.

Delicious brisket and jalapeño and cheese sausages. Top it off with a draft from the bar for a perfect meal. The jalapeño peppers were nice and spicy and I was glad I had ordered the mac and cheese to cool things down! The corn poppers and fried okra are also great choices. The dining area is next to a nice little bar to grab a drink and wait for the rest of the group to arrive. This made for a more relaxing and better evening. The hospitality from the bar patrons was really nice. This was my third visit and wont be my last!

First time at Reynas BBQ and we will definitely be going back. Yum! We got the Botana & I swear, it had everything in it. Fries, brisket, sausage, chicken, brisket nachos, tacos, ribs & onion rings. If you have a lot of people to feed, get the Botana! I also enjoyed their BBQ sauce, a little hot, a little tangy & full of flavor. They have a drive through and you can order ahead to pick up later.

Ate with my family yesterday for the first time. Two sandwiches which were pretty good, but the sides were not. They served store bought potatoe salad and thick and flavorless mac and cheese. Also got the fajita tacos. These also were pretty good, but lacked creativity. Served without any onions, peppers, pico, guac; nothing. Just strips of meat on a flour tortilla. Lastly, we tried the banana pudding, which is always a must with BBQ. Not here. Looked like a dream, but lacked flavor and the texture of the pudding was off. I am not trying to be mean, just was hoping for a much better dining experience.

I m confused at how bad this food is. The brisket was so thin, no bark on the edges, and honestly just flavorless. They were out of pulled pork at 2pm but I doubt I was missing that experience. The BBQ sauce tastes like denture cleaner. And the peach cobbler was totally dry and LIFELESS. The lemonade was watered down and the coke was weak. The only notable part of this experience was the nugget ice. Food looks NOTHING like the advertisements. I will never waste my money at one of these chains ever again. The entire self serve bar was out of stock. Not sure how this place is staying in business.

While there isnt any fish but there are plenty of other options to choose from. Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: The menu options are great for kids. So much to choose from that any child would enjoy. Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors and plenty of open space for accessibility plus tables and chairs as opposed to booths.

The Brisket was average. What was intensely disappointing was the indifference of the window takeout woman on the afternoon of 8/24/23. She never looked at me, greeted me and handed off my order in a bag and looked away without a thank you. She seems like someone who hates her job, is bored or feels that she is better than being there. Not coming back.

Very disappointed with food first and last time going there chicken was hard and dry brisket was juiceless and dry seemed like yesterdays food, chicken and some of the brisket was mixed with yesterdays and fresh, we complained and they brought the freshly made chicken so why not serve that in the first place, slaw charro beans tea were ok. pandemic causing restaurants to lose business so they are cutting back in quality not a good move. Dont panic stay cool for only the strong survive.

We just happened on this place after putting gas at Sams on our way to SPI from San Antonio. Hungry & needed to use the restroom. We were so impressed! Brisket, ribs & turkey were delicious. My companion loved the potato salad, which he is very picky about. Well definitely stop back by on our way home.

Not even close! The crispy wings were uncrispy. They had NO FAJITAS OR TEXAS HEAT WING SAUCE. How can a BBQ place not have fajitas! Selling wings, no texas heat wing sauce. Esequiel Reyna, this is your restaurant? Do BETTER! We asked for NO BBQ on ribs, we get BBQ on ribs! Do not recommend. Oh the onion rings, soggy, uncooked. Gross.

Love ALMOST everything about this place. Their coleslaw isnt my favorite, but with so many other sides that are great, Im not missing it. Every experience has been consistent. The food is always more than satisfying, the staff is very welcoming and I feel at home when dining in. Great job, guys.

Pros: The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. The wait was short. Negatives: tortillas are being prepped and cooked in the open, where everyone is walking by or eating, and cook isnt wearing gloves. The food isnt very good. The bbq beans taste like pure bbq sauce with a few beans dropped in for texture. The moist brisket is extremely greasy, its just the fat. There are no smoke rings, looks like the brisket was boiled. The sausage tastes like summer sausage heated up. Should have known when there was a drive thru that it would be trash. Real BBQ cant be served timely enough for a drive thru.
