Going to a lawyers office is generally not a great experience. But I can assure you re going to this one was a very pleasant experience. From the moment I walked into the office I was treated with nothing but respect and professionalism. Let me start off by saying this was a divorce case. To preface, prior to using Nancy I have never had a lawyer/attorney for any issue. My father passed away and to settle his estate my (native Korean speaking) mother and I needed to probate his estate and neither of us were 1) ready to undertake this suddenly and 2) didn t know what the process was. I myself am an avid review-looker/window shopper and did my due diligence of online research and speaking to other attorneys. Ms. Eaton not only was fair and upfront in pricing, timeline of events, and communication after retainment, but also was extremely personable and went above and beyond our expectations. I contacted Nancy the week between Christmas and New Years and apparently that is a holiday for them. Regardless Nancy came into the office and met with my husband and I. I was so impressed that she would do that. She was very professional and knowledgeable about estate planning. She knew things another lawyer, I had met with, had no clue about. Absolutely the worst and disgusting attorney you could hire. On behalf of my elderly mother, I hired Nancy to probate my fathers will, which turned into a contested probate. Long story short, Nancy did everything she could to avoid going to trial. She even stated more than once she did not want to go to trial, which in my opinion is a winnable case. She stated on numerous occasions that she was going to follow her clients decision not to negotiate away any estate property and was even told by her client several times not to negotiate away the estate properties. She was even handed a notarized letter and informing her NOT to negotiate the contested estate and during mediation she did the exact opposite. Nancy attempted to Swindle and bamboozle my mother into giving up half of the estate, praying on her sentimental and emotional side of guilt, in an attempt to avoid going to trial. What kind of lawyer doesn t go to trial? She never even discussed options of jury selection, depositions or setting a trial date, after she was instructed to do so. She at first recognized my durable power of attorney and then later, as I continued to insist not to negotiate the estate, she excluded me from all conversations between her and my mother, as her attorney-in-fact. This was her attempt to convince her to give up her estate. Many times she seemed clueless as how to proceed and was always on the defense. Many questions were answered with I guess or I don t know . Understand, for every negative review there are average 5 others that fail to write one. Shell tell you I wasnt her client, however, she toik directions and communicated directly from me as the attorney-in-fact. When you hire this clueless and hateful attorney Nancy, you will be fighting the opposing counsel and her.

From the moment you walk in the front door and seeing Minnie the receptionist at the front, all the way to finally meeting Nancy and the rest of her team, you feel very welcomed and at ease. Y all claim to have a practice built on Honesty and Integrity but that is a skill no man can teach it s instilled. These negative reviews are no lies told. My husband was more accessible to Nancy then me. I trusted that my wants and needs would be met but they were not. It is not integrity to pick and choose what your willing to fight for. I ve been talked nasty to and Ive looked over it. Waisted my time for a year just to want me to give in to my husband demands and thought little of mine. Mrs. Eaton and her team were exceptional in dealing with my divorce proceedings. I initially reached out to her team in order to draft a post-nuptial agreement. However, due to dealing with continued domestic violence and adultery, this turned into seeking divorce. I was always able to reach her or her team, especially when tension between my ex-husband and I got extremely volatile. Her expertise in these types of situations and understanding the nature of domestic violence, waived the requirement of mediation for divorcing parties with children. I used Ms. Perrys services for a divorce that came out of left field. She was sympathetic to my plight. She listened to what I had to say and formulated a way forward. Repeat Client here! I adore Nancy. She is honest (and very blunt), and will not paint pretty pictures about your case just to get your money (other attorneys need to take notice). She is responsive to calls, emails and text messages (even on Sundays, thanks Nancy). Nancy has assisted me with setting up my businesses, updating my Will, and yes, my divorce. One-stop shop, and Im a client for life. I thought Nancy and her team handled my case flawlessly. I was lied to about what to expect with my custody case. I needed an attorney who was willing to fight for me. Nancy never fought for my case. I informed her about my suspicious about child been neglect and she did not advise anything. I was lied to they told me that my hearing was cancelled, I called the court to find out that was not true. I lost my son because of her she pretty much agreed on everything the other patty wanted, right between my case I think sha had some medical issues that she didnt share with me. I do not need details but I least give the curtesy to know that you cant work in my case I wasted money and time with this one. I had to hire another lawyer that at least try to fix her mess. ALSO PLEASE CHECK ALL THE REVIEWS SEEMS SUSPISUS TO HAVE 5 STARTS FROM ALMOST 10 PPL IN LESS THAN A MONTH. She was definitely not what I needed as an attorney.

I thought Nancy and her team handled my case flawlessly. I was lied to about what to expect with my custody case. I needed an attorney who was willing to fight for me. Nancy never fought for my case. I was granted the right to move my son out of Texas and wanted to get him in school and a routine outside of Texas. She lied about that being possible and now we have to fly back and forth weekly. I asked Nancy to make me the the sole custodian with exclusive rights to move out of state. She gave me joint managing and rights to move but I still have to fly back and forth every week. I am not sure how that s the best interest for my son. He needs a set routine but instead he will have to go to 2 separate pre schools and have 2 separate doctors. It s a mess. If you are not from Texas and want to hire Nancy for your divorce and custody. Id advise against it. I was lied to. She also likes to rush when you are in the office face to face. She was definitely not what I needed as an attorney.

Being an aunt taking care of a siblings 4 children when they ve passed away ,had not been an easy road to travel. Since I m not their parent I ve been limited to all I could do for them without court orders. The youngest 3 children I was able to get situated because their father agreed to file the petition. However the eldest child s (Different father) situation was a bit difficult and needed a lot of work. My nephew is a type 1 diabetic, and I struggled trying to find a law firm that would help situate my urgent need to care for my nephew since the passing of my sister, and the father has never been in the picture. I got a good feeling about her during my consultation and retained her services. I let her know immediately that this was going to be difficult because my soon to be ex husband is a pain and does everything the hard way when it comes to our daughter.
