A fun local festival. Rides, example: one approximate 3 minute ride cost $5 each. Very overpriced. Food good and priced as an average carnival. Very safe. Playground: Spray park in summer Toilets: Available and clean Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash only Picnic area: Small covered area with picnic tables and plenty of grassy areas

they only have the splash pad opened for about 3 and a half months out of the year and only the weekends at that, and for a park with 0 shade thats just awful.

Not sure if this was typical of this park or not, but it was not very clean. The park would be nice to visit if it were properly maintained. Toilets: Restrooms were very unsanitary. Two out of three stalls in the womens section were dirty and unusable. No soap available to wash your hands. No toilet paper available either. Picnic area: Trash cans were overflowing and a few were laying on their sides with contents scattered on the ground. Trash was everywhere.

I grew up in Groves and have watched Lions Park change over the past 30 years. Glad to see Groves is still hosting its Annual Pecan Festival!!

Took the dogs for a walk here. Nice wide open space with a splash park, back stops for a batting practice, two little league fields and a new playground for the kiddos.
