When we walked up and sat at the bar, the bartender specifically said, I will take your order right now. However, after acknowledging us, the bartender went to socialize at a nearby table with a few locals. Oddly enough, the bartender even called out to the other employee, who was also taking orders, just to join in and chat with the friends who had come in. After waiting over 10 minutes, we decided to leave, as we were no longer willing to wait to place our order. Ended up walking to Jakes and had amazing food and cold beverages.

Let me start by saying I love the food here and Griffin was our server, and he was awesome! I also manage a customer service business, We ve been to wine fusion a few times and have always enjoyed it. We came during Grapefest and they didn t have any indoor seating, so we sat outside under a tent, which was fine. The manager Nick, halfway through our meal, started breaking down the tent. I expressed my displeasure, He said and I quote you don t have to come back here, we don t need your business I will also say, I don t drink, so I wasn t unruly or out of line. Nick needs some coaching as a manager, I hope this gets back to the owner, because I would never allow one of my employees to speak to a guest like this. Well he was right, we will never come back, I suggest you teach your managers customer service. Edit: Looking back at all the other negative reviews, I can tell that management doesn t take criticism well, they get immediately defensive instead of trying to focus on guest recovery. Also, from a little research it appears that Nick may be the owner which will make this review fall on deaf ears. So if the owner is going to treat the people who pay his bills like this, I would definitely not recommend this place at all.

Update: We came back for brunch today and wow! This place has such great service, drinks, and food. I highly recommend the tomato basil soup, which i forgot to take a pic of. Excellent place. The drinks are top notch and the service is absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back!

It s a Thursday night 9:35pm - one waiter tells the other waiter to tell us kitchen is closed and last call on a drink. As an owner myself of a restaurant- this is totally unacceptable. I wouldn t run a restaurant with the attitude of a lazy staff like this.

I have to admit. When I walked in I was a little skeptical, because there were no other patrons in this establishment and the staff seemed a bit bored. As it turned out, however, all of the staff were super sweet and welcoming, and the food and wine were top-notch! One of the best burgers I ve had and the fries were memorable, too. Not sure why this place wasn t busier as it was a very solid experience

A great, fun experience in the heart of Downtown Grapevine! I was walking around with a friend and he suggested we stop in and take a look. Im glad I did! The owner is quite nice and was very busy helping customers which is a great sign. It was also crazy hot that day and having a nice beverage in a cool environment was exactly what was needed. Ambiance: Wine Fusion is located in historic downtown Grapevine. I loved the blend of historic, modern touches, rustic textures and accents and buzzy vibe. It reminded me of something you would see at a younger, hipper downtown Napa or Sonoma establishment. Selections: Theres a lot! The wine list was extensive at the time I was there and I appreciated that there was also a small/medium sized bar available too. Coming from 16 years in the wine/beer/spirits industry thats not a common sight for a wine bar in the NorCal CA wine country. In closing, the next time Im in the area Ill definitely be back to enjoy a glass or two. You should too!

DONT COME HERE , STAFF WAS AWFUL. A waitress with a spider tattoo on her chest served us and was beyond disrespectful to our party and ruined our entire experience here. We were all closing out our tabs ( a party of 6 people who each tipped 20%). As I was closing out my tab I told her I had cash for the tip. I was dealing with a crying 6 month old and had left $2 on the table when my tab was $25. I was dealing with a crying infant and cleaning my mess and was searching for more singles in my bag to give her. She then puts the $2 in my face and says my service was better than this and wouldn t leave me alone and rolled her eyes and copped an attitude (When really her service was awful!!!) She literally never came around and everyone else who worked there basically took care of our table and delivered our food. I told her I had more money for her and as I was getting it for her she got super nasty with me and started screaming at all of us when our entire party all tipped 20%!!! The manager is replying to all of our Yelp reviews with a response that truthfully is disgusting and untrue. I always tip well but As someone in hospitality the customer IS ALWAYS right and you do not disrespect any customer who walks into your restaurant I dont care what they tip or do. I think its mind blowing to me that he doesnt apologize and is sticking by an unprofessional employee who is extremely rude and screams at customers with a baby in their hand and children around. Even people outside the restaurant were stunned and came up to me. As a new mom I had a lot going on and was getting my child s stuff together and was grabbing more singles for her but she was impatient. My husband than spoke to the manager and the manager never gave a genuine apology you could tell he didn t care and so my husband simply also asked for him to compensate us next time for being so disrespected in public and he refused. I wouldn t ever expect him to do that ,however, I would expect him to agree with the customer that it was not okay and to speak/discipline that employee. I will take my service elsewhere and if she s still so concerned over that $3 I didn t give her please for her Venmo and I ll send it on over. Pathetic.

Do not come here - had the worst experience yesterday with a waitress with a spider tattoo on her chest. We were practically chased out of the restaurant and yelled at as my friend was carrying her baby & struggling to grab cash out of her wallet at the same time to tip the waitress began yelling at her arguing to leave more tip and that she gave better service ect then snarks at us Happy Holidays Merry Christmas as I was trying to de-escalate the situation as myself & my girlfriends & two kids were standing outside. We felt so uncomfortable & I have never received such horrible customer service let alone to a young mom with a baby. My friends husband went back to talk to the manager and they didnt care & said their was nothing they could do because they were understaffed. Working in customer service/hospitality myself Im appalled to see anyone treated this way. Please do not go here the service & management is beyond horrible. 0/10 recommend.

The food was fabulous! Some of the best crab cakes and calamari apatizers weve had in the DFW area. My husband loved his burger and the Sea bass was phenomenal! Wine Fusion is one of the best spots in Grapevine. The staff, Amanda, Alexis, Tim, Marley, Calista Cienna, Bree are amazing and they make you feel welcome. I feel like Norm from Cheers every time I go in, they know my favorites and have it ready when they see me walk in. The food is from scratch and they have a fantastic menu. This is definite a spot to visit when in Grapevine.

Had lunch here during the beer fest 2023. Had the most fantastic calamari and truffle fries. They had a large selection of wines, and I tried the white blend. Location Had a rustic work house. Good amount of space, an indoor patio, and outdoor sitting. The waitress was young, but very perky and friendly. Service was very quick. Wine was the average price for the area, I paid $15 for my glass. With the fries and 6 total was under $40. We didnt have a main dish. Its so worth trying if you love good food and trying different wines.

My husband and I walked in and went to the bar to try to get a drink this evening during the Grapevine Main St. Festival. That never happened. We were repeatedly overlooked. We waited patiently and a female bartender eventually started making her way over to us when she noticed another customer and then said to us Oh, they were actually here first. I ll get back to you after I help them. We said Ok and continued to wait even though we knew that they were not there before us. As we waited, another customer walked up and stood beside us. This time a male bartender, walked over, without making eye contact with us, and asked him what he needed. At this point, I was very frustrated and disappointed in their obvious discrimination, so we left. Neither of the bartenders looked like us , nor did the other customers that they ignored us to help. I have never written a post like this, but I feel like everyone should know what to expect when visiting this establishment. I truly hope that this was a one time oversight, but I could not keep quiet about it.

I came in randomly, always wanted to try this place , got sat down , said we wanted to try some good wine , gentleman brings out the cheapest bottle (unknown to my knowledge ) and pours us a glass , we ask if it s the house wine he said no because it would require an up charge , we never mentioned we were looking for cheap wine or I could ve just gone down to the wallgreens . We ate our food , barely touched the glass because it simply wasn t what we came in looking for . I m guessing he assumed what we could afford based on our attire time comes up to pay and I pull out my Amex card because I like the airline points Now we start getting treated good with the Oh my mistake it seems you must really know your wine I d like to make it up to you at one point I even think I was offered the bottle to take home with me, first impressions are the biggest , no I didn t take the bottle nor do I think I ll be coming back .

Bought a $15 frozen daiquiri to go during grape fest and gratuity was already included. The gratuity part is OK but I thought they would be able to also give me a cup of water with my purchase and they refused. They said I had to buy a bottle of water lol. Just not great service and I think they could really do better. In response to the owner - Ive never been refused a cup of water at a bar in my life. Nor even at a Starbucks. I hope that the customers sitting down in your restaurant (and paying gratuity like I did) were able to get a cup of water. I dont care that it was $1 clearly if I bought a $15 margarita from a machine. I dont carry cash on me - a lot of people dont these days. So just to clarify, the $1 didnt upset me enough to leave a one star review - the decision to not let paying customers have a cup of water on a 96 degree Texas day did. Hah - ok thanks for the response. I m sure it s helping your cause to keep defending your actions rather than try to come up with a solution. I do love that you mention not being able to keep up with serving water but certainly fine with keeping up with serving drinks just fine lol. Why don t you hand out some bottled water for free with purchase of a drink then? That would certainly be a nice gesture to your patrons. Maybe $0.10 of the cost of my to-go margarita slushee could have gone towards the cost of that. Just a thought.

Alexis was super attentive and one of the best servers I have had in awhile. I will be back just because of how fun, friendly, and attentive she was. Sadly, in this day and age, the attentiveness is a rare quality and she has it. I highly recommend coming here for the food and atmosphere alone, but if you do, ask for Alexis to make it that more memorable.

Awesome place, with phenomenal service that displayed a great deal of team work among the staff. Short ribs were good and my wife loved the barbacoa tacos. Tried four different red wines by the glass from 3 different states (Texas, Washington, and Oregon). The only thing was they were served cold (like refrigerator cold, not just cool), which was very unusual for red wines and killed the flavor a little (the wines were cabs and red blends). I havent noticed anyone else mention the cold wines in a review, so maybe a one off. Will definitely go back, though.

We were drawn in by the scratch kitchen sign we saw. Its definitely not scratch food. Mediocre frozen chicken strips, fries, and store bought tortillas. Nothing made from scratch here. Food is over priced for what you get. Wine was good, but pricey. Cocktails were similar, over priced and middle of the road.

Just Awesome!! If youre attending the Grapevine festive this year, the Bayou Boys are back at Wine Fusion Winery. The wine is incredible, and the Bayou Boys have the best crawfish, jambalaya, and boiled shrimp in North Texas. The manager and servers at Wine Fusion made sure everyone was taken care of, and the service was very quick on getting food to your table, and they were very busy, awesome job to the manager & their crew. Wine Fusions is a romantic , casual, fun and a well put together Winery. My wife and I have NEVER had bad customer service ONLY GREAT customer service. I truly can not imagine anyone not feeling like they received a 5 stars experience. If someone walks out of WFW and does not feel like they enjoyed a 5 star experience -then the customer probably has had a bad day elsewhere and is taking it out on everyone else- because WFW has been very well thought out in every area. My wife and I enjoy the incredible customer service and their incredible food and Wine Train is the best. Truly, I rarely give reviews but these guy rock it! Here is to a permanent 5 star rating!!! Came here for a date night for the first time. It was horrible... the wine was great. But the female staff member was a complete b****. Won t be going back here. I d ask a question, she d mumble and when I asked her a question about a wine she didn t answer and only pointed at the menu. The one star is for the wine. Not the waitress. Husband and I ordered margaritas and the first thing I pointed out were the brownish/yellow lime wedges on our glasses. Took our first sips and sure enough the drinks tasted exactly how the lime wedges looked. It also took us a good 5 minutes before we were acknowledged at our table.
