Well, wanted to try this place. As a visitor to the area, it was quite a surprise to find that there was a festival happening right out front and we would have to pay $10 for the festival (that we weren t going to) just to get to Dino s. Wish they would ve mentioned that when we made the reservation. We wouldn t have wasted our money taking an Uber over.

Wow!!!! What an experience.we had. A young 22 year old server who was far beyond his years in service and maturity. His quiet service was appreciated and when he pulled out the crumb catcher! It took me back to fine dining in Cleveland in 1985. The food was equally as good. Thank you for a really fun dining experience. If we ever get back to Texas we will be back.

Delicious food for sure. The service was the standout item. Very thorough but never intrusive, our server, Sara, and those who helped her were impeccable. Appetizers of Crab Cake, Lobster & Chive Ravioli and we split a bowl of Lobster Bisque. Absolutely delicious. Entrees were Seared Red Snapper and Scallop Risotto. Highly recommend both dishes. Desserts were Chocolate Cake and Cappuccino Pie. We liked the pie the best. This restaurant is a jewel of a place on Main Street, Grapevine.

Much better choices in the area. Crab claws the size of my thumb. Tables were small and cramped. Steak eh. Sea bass eh. Server helping to fill water completely spilled water over half the table. Accidents happen but no apologies said and the clean up was just one person. Wow. Visited on a slow Thursday evening. Only enjoyable part of the evening was the piano player. She was wonderful!

When you enter the dark concept with a piano playing is inviting. The butter with balsamic reduction for the bread was a pleasant surprise. The appetizer fried calamari was chewy and I didnt care for the crab cakes. The salad we nice and fresh. The Sea Bass was very well seasoned and the avocado salse was very fresh. Now the rice needed more flavor. My friends did say the meat was excellent. The Tiramisu was really good.....

For fine dining, I was expecting a little more from Dino s. Also, being a claw house, I expected to have a lot more seafood options. I was disappointed that there was no lobster option and the crab selection was limited. However, the crab cake really was excellent. The plate was a little underwhelming and I wish there was a little more to the grilled vegetables. My steak was a little underdone to my liking but it was still good. I think I would go back again for a special occasion but the cost was not completely worth the meal.

The food here was nice, but the service was not a pleasant experience. They rushed us so much through our meal. The second a plate was put on the table a different server would come by and ask if we were finished yet. The courses were coming on top of each other. It was all just so rushed. I thought maybe our server was trying to get out of there and that we must have been his last table. But, no! He took new tables when we were almost finished. I dont know what the rush was, but it really made for an unpleasant experience overall. Would not return here.

The ambiance was AMAZING! Had a live piano player as you walked in. We came here for a private party and the service was top notch! Food was exquisite and beautiful. The escargot was a great, the seafood platter had a great selection of options. Lobster bisque is a definite must, it was creamy, delicious and hearty. Don t get a reservation at 5. We got there 10 min early and had to wait outside, once it was 5, the host checked our reservation and then said okay, 1 minute please . We then waited 7 min to be seated, which we didn t get seated until we were asked by another hostess if we had been helped. Our server was Bailey and she was wonderful. She s mainly why this isn t 1 star. We got the claws for the appetizer and they were very chewy. We got the special, which was a surf and turf, scallops were great. Our steak was cooked medium rare like we asked but somehow still dry. I don t want to sound harsh but it seemed like this restaurant was pretending to be fine dining and clearly wasted. The bathrooms, the atmosphere was very out dated. I would not recommend spending your money here.

My husband and I decided to try Dinos for our anniversary. We were both so happy we did. It is a lovely restaurant, with a great vibe. I really enjoyed the music when we arrived and the piano music that started shortly afterwards. Everyone was incredibly professional and attentive. We especially appreciated the outstanding service and demeanor from Jessie who took great care of us. They were very busy, but he stayed on top of everything and the others assisting made sure our water glasses were never empty. We both had steaks and I must say that my filet mignon will be remembered as one of the best steaks Ive ever had. Simply perfection. The anniversary card everyone signed and the thoughtful dessert was a nice touch. It was a very memorable, enjoyable experience that we both really appreciated. I would highly recommend them if you are celebrating a special occasion. It was lovely. Parking: There are public parking lots on the street behind the restaurant. If the one directly behind is full, just up the street is more parking.

Been in the white tablecloth industry my entire life. Never have I ever been told I could not order an appetizer and it would have to be coursed in with the rest of my meal. Server said he would hold off on entering our appetizer until we decided the rest of our food and walked off.. We we looking for a nice place to relax with a calm atmosphere. Dinos was the perfect choice. The atmosphere was peaceful, the service was top notch. My drink was never empty and a finished plate never sat on the table for more than a minute. Very attentive and respectful staff. The food was excellent, parking was no problem on the street or side street and grapevine is a quaint little town with shops and good energy. For 2 people, 1 app, 2 dinners and a shared dessert, bill was around $150 before tip. A little pricey, but worth it. Would highly recommend Parking: If you can t park on the main strip or the lot for Dino s, there is plenty of side streets. Parking was no problem on a busy Friday night

Went there the other night to celebrate an occasion with my girlfriend. Had a good time and the service was great. The food was very good and they were very proud of it $$$$! The only draw back for me personally was we had to go up a flight of stairs to get to our table and the restrooms were downstairs. Not a big deal unless you are older and if you have had a cocktail. Everything was enjoyable until about three hours later when I got home. Stomach didnt react well to the food. Enough said.

My husband and I dined in for our 17 year anniversary, which they accommodated fantastically. They told us happy anniversary, gave us a card and a dessert. The waitress was lovely and sweet. The pianist was an excellent addition. We got the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. While it was only 3 shrimp, they were huge and meaty and yummy. My husband got the red fish and enjoyed it. I thought it was a little fishy for me. I got the bone in ribeye and it was very expensive but melted in your mouth! Very good. The mashed potatoes were sub-par...they tasted very starchy. The veggies were good, but could use a little more love on the flavor.

I reserved a table with the request of upstairs seating, only to show up to be told that the upstairs was closed. This website CLEARLY advertises upstairs and downstairs seating. . .. So, either provide good customer service and make it happen or give the guest a curtasy call so they could reschedule .. if thats a deal maker... Wanted to try a new place for an anniversary and lucked out. The staff, service, and food provided an incredible experience. Subtle live piano was a bonus. The food is pricey but its so good I wished I had 2 stomachs. A nice card signed by all the employees was a very nice acknowledgement as well as the complimentary piece of cake after dinner. I will preface this by saying it was difficult to rate Dinos at 4 Stars because it is such a fine Establishment, however there is just reasoning. First and foremost, this is Dinos Steak AND Clawhouse, and there were no Surf and Turf options available on the menu, and the one option through a specialty was for Steak and Scallops. I was very hopeful for a steak with a lobster tail or some crab legs, no such luck. Secondly, the appetizer was absolutely amazing and very accurately advertised... crab cake with avocado and crab meat salsa on top. A singular crab cake priced over $20. Lastly, and to piggyback off the second... the final price point was over $225. Im happy to pay for an exceptional experience. The Live Piano Music, our Waitstaff and the Ambiance, was very warm and receptive. However, it also felt angsty and rushed and very much; youve got your food now get out so we can clear the table. On to the positive, though. The Waitstaff we had was top-tier; exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuine seeming The live music and the ambiance were also very warm and felt nice. The food truly was exceptionally prepared. A lot of care and thought went into making it. Overall, Dinos few shortcomings are dimly lit in comparison to how well they shined in providing great food and ambiance. Parking: Parking can definitely be difficult to navigate as it is downtown Main Street in Grapevine.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this one is warranted. We dined in on Valentine s Day. I was put off by the limited menu on that day but chose to see past that. Our server was not that great. She forgot the bread we had to ask for TWICE and then failed to bring out the butter to go with it. Again, we chose to see past that. Then our food arrived. We both ordered salads, lobster bisque, crab cakes and the surf and turf. The entree items arrived and were not hot. Almost as if they had been sitting for a while. Our waitress was again, no where around so we ate what we could and chose not to send the food back. After having below average service and cold entrees, we chose to still order dessert with the hopes it would be a better experience. Unfortunately, we ordered the bread pudding and it arrived with the ice cream 90% melted. We didn t even finish it. We collected our $340+ tab and left. It s unfortunate. We wanted to love it but it was a horrible experience.

We dined here on February 16th and was very disappointed with the experience. I had corporate executives in and thought we would all enjoy Dinos. Reservations were made well in advance. When we arrived, we were informed that the menu would be limited due to large corporate groups. That would have been nice to know since I am sure these groups were booked in advance. As a result; our food tasted like it was mass produced and was average at best. In addition, the large groups were so loud we couldn t barely hear ourselves talk. The tables are crammed in leading to a very cozy dining experience. Our servers were overworked as they were trying to also cover the large groups so it wasn t very attentive. Overall a poor experience.

I couldnt be more disappointed. For a place that has such high reviews, the steak was extremely bland for the price. It says a lot when the highlights of the meal were the mashed potatoes and bread. The spacing of the tables was also extremely tight, so instead of an intimate date night, it felt more like eating at a cafeteria. I would not come back. Bread & Butter - 1st batch was great and fresh, the following batches weren t as fresh. Caesar Salad - Lettuce tastes bitter, but the dressing was alright. Lobster Bisque - Barely any pieces of lobster. The soup itself was creamy and tasty though. Scallops - They seemed fresh but lacked flavor. Filet Mignon & Bone in Ribeye - Both cooked exactly as requested, but they both lacked flavor. If you want to spend a lot of money on expensive meat, there are better options with more flavor. Crème brûlée - Okay, they burned the sugar too much at the top, so it tasted bitter. Overall - Unless you re wanting a loud and claustrophobic atmosphere, you d be better off going someplace else.

This is our second visit, the food is great and cooked order. Service after ordering was within 10-12 minutes and was not under cooked. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the piano being played is more in the background than not. Expect to about $150 for two people, but it is well worth it.

On December 26th, my family went to Dinos for Dinner. A very nice place, excellent service, However......My Son and I both ordered the CHILEAN SEA BASS, the fish did not look to be thoroughly cooked but tasted delicious. The next day we paid the price for not sending both plates back as both of us experienced unfortunate diarrhea. Lesson once again reminded, go with your first instinct.

The lobster bisque was probably our favorite thing here and the rolls with butter and balsamic were amazing. I would come back for just those two things alone. Everything else was good but nothing that stood out as much as the soup and rolls. Unfortunately The server was not great, but the drinks were very good.

Waiter asked if I needed my food packed up. I said yes please. He picked up my plate then my friends corn bowl, tea wrappers. Sugar wrappers, and put everything on my plate! Then left to wrap my meal that was covered in trash! I told the manager and just got a sorry he will be talked to. They did not make it right. I left the meal on the table. 1/2 my steak, all my mashed potatoes, 1/2 my vegetables.

Have stopped by several times. Avoid this place at all costs during this season. Server was unattractive and rude. Only claws are on appetizer menu. Steak was good. Had to take drink order to bar and we were first seating at 5pm. Never had this horrible service anywhere in grapevine.Had to drop off check as well. Too many great places to eat in area than to waist time here. Could not find manager. I normally dont complain but this was the worst. Plus cost $125/ person. Came for a reservation at 7:30pm and arrived on time. They proceeded to seat a number of tables that literally walked in the door. The menu is limited but the steaks are outstanding and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend Dinos NY strip with Asiago crust. The béarnaise sauce I had with it was good. The service is excellent once seated. Bailey was our waitress and was very friendly and attentive. I d come back if they can get their seating up to par.

Food was very good. I had the scallop appetizer, 8 Oz. Filet mignon med rare, potatoes, veggies included. Glass of wine. Mashed potatoes were a little bit salty but the rest perfect! The waiter asked if I would like to pack my leftovers and I said yes please. He picked up my plate then picked up my neighbors empty corn bowl, tea wrapper, and sugar packets and put all that trash on my plate! Then took it and wrapped it up and brought my meal back out to me. I reported it and got nothing but so sorry that happened he offered to comp desert but that w had been already included with my meal and paid for by the party I had been invited to be with (pharmaceutical) so in other words just a sorry and nothing else. I left half my steak. All my potatoes, and half my vegetables on the table. I didnt want to eat it after all the trash had been placed on my food! Discovered another lady at the end of the table complained about the same thing and also got no compensation. Bad decision on managements part (they were consulted ) this was my first time here and probably will be the last. To think I drove from Fort Wortj to lose half my meal.

Great service provided by Crystal during our first experience at Dino s. I ll make plans to be back next time I am in town. We started with the bread and whipped butter. The whipped butter was creamy in itself but added to it was a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was my first experience with this combination and it was a hit with me. Our meal came out quickly and was delish. There was a good portioned filet cooked to order, creamy mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. There was no room for dessert. I will make a point to stop by Dino s again next time I am in the area!

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. We chose to celebrate my birthday there because most people gave it raving reviews. Honestly, the food was almost perfect except the risotto was way too salty. The manager came by and had tge kitchen remake one. It was better, but the chef was still heavy handed on the salt. The birthday cake was dry and lack luster. I was going to order a tiramisu, but the server had already brought over the complimentary cake. I would have been wasteful. Service was good, but she could be bit more attentive at the beginning. And I felt like she should have asked if we wanted dessert before bringing the slice of cake. I would have chosen another dessert. Overall, great food and ambience! Dinos is not a bad place for a date night, but for special occasions, I would go to another place with higher service quality.

We celebrated our anniversary at Dino s and the Dino s staff did not disappoint us. Crystal was our waiter and she was great. The food was great. It was not loud so you can have a great conversation.
