The location is fine but there are too many people and very loud music, I dont think its a good place if you are with small kids. I could not find a restroom there.

Great park right off the lake. Excellent views, fields are in decent shape for the amount of wear they receive. There is always a gust here so soccer games be aware. Playground: The playground is nice and maintained well. It is far from some of the fields, though, so I wouldnt just send my kids running off. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room on the sides of the fields to keep your dog with you. Leash is required. There are so.e trails as well. I have never tried them though so I dont have an opinion on that.

Beautiful park and amazing sunset with bluish water. One of the best lake in DFW. Picnic area and restroom. New and big parking lot. I just hope people clean up their dog poops and keep the park clean. Saw a lot of dog poop everywhere.

Went there to bird- see if any rare gulls or terns showed up. This is a great area to just sit by the lake edge and listen to to the waves hit the shore, watch the sailboats and fishermen, relax, think about nothing. Playground: There is a playground with lots of room to bring a chair to enjoy watching your children. Toilets: Port a potties Dog-friendliness: Tha park is dog friendly keeping your pooch leashed, although some people let their dogs run with no one nearby. Picnic area: Plenty of picnic areas, covered and open.

Playing on field I this morning and it was great. Nice facilities, fan friendly. Bathrooms were well maintained, clean and even had scented hand soap. Sorry about the north stall but I had a chorizo breakfast burrito and really had to unload.

Very peaceful. Lots of trails and great for groups and small intimate settings. Plenty of parking spaces. Beach was not overcrowded...Cant wait to get a paddle boat to venture across to the secluded little island. The area where you have to pay to park is excellent and the price is reasonable. Only had one problem....someone let their dog loose...he purposely released him....I think that was pretty mean...dogs are supposed to be on a lease. This was a single incident...most dogs are not aggressive. Toilets: Clean Dog-friendliness: Most friendly...only one incident Picnic area: Have to rent out the large area

Ive created many great memories in this area. This park has quite a bit to offer for runners, walkers and bikers. It even has a great spot for kids. Best of all, its by the lake. The trails in this area do not have elevation, so this wouldnt be an area to hike, if thats what youre looking for. Also consider the weather when you visit - the best time to visit is Spring and Fall.
