My waiters name is Michael, and he provided the most excellent service Ive received while dining out. My friend loved her seafood boil. My catfish was perfectly seasoned. The Macn cheese was a bit flavorless but Michael checked with the chef and he exchanged it for the delicious savory red beans and rice and cole slaw. Always a great time at this restaurant. I was a little skeptical about going 45 minutes before closing but immediately my skepticism diminished upon arrival. The vibe was high! The music was drunk! Wings were in the freezer too long. Tasted freezer burnt, fried pickles had no seasoning, ordered sweet tea, never got it but was in the ticket. Catfish tasted like the lake. Crab was good, clearly the corn was disgusting (even dipped in the sauce had no flavor) and waitress wouldn t take it off. Horrible customer service. Never coming back!

The food was actually good nice atmosphere. My issue was with the lack of service we received. We had a party of 3 and was charged an 18% gratuity. Apparently, if your table combined bill is over $150, they automatically charge you. The main issue was our server didnt do anything but take our order and brought us our food. No refills, clear items from table, dessert, or anything else. We had to get someone else to take our tickets and explain to us why we were being charged. Its on the paper menu which we never saw. He had us scan the menu QVC code and of course the writing is too fine where you cant see it. I dont mind the tipping, just only when its deserved. If I ever go back Ill make sure to keep a cap on what I spend.

Do not leave without checking your Food! They will not refund you because apparently they think their cooks are always great. But as you can see.... they are not and this is shrimp and grits.. With extra juice .... The manager was rude! She told me she didnt need to tell me her name, which is crazy. Is there an argument? Refund! Simple, right?......She argued me down even though I showed proof of their mistakes. I can take money elsewhere and be treated better. Shame on yall! Good luck in here.

Been there twice now. The bartender was awesome. Her name is LaLa. She makes great drinks. She was very friendly always smiling. Very attentive and interaction with everyone at the bar was to say awesome is a understatement. My wife even commented on her great she was. You will have a new regular patron now. The food was great, very tasty. I did a build my own with potatoes, crab and shrimp. The atmosphere was kind of fun. About 4 people were doing line dancing lol. The music from the adjoining bar had a good beat and the people were having fun. Its not the cheapest place, but I think the food, service and atmosphere were worth is, just not every day. I also recommend the cheesecake. That was also yummy.

Best fresh seafood in the area. Crab, shrimp, crawdads, etc. Food is cooked to your liking. Wait staff needs to be more careful. Being a married couple who has been here before perception can hurt your tip. Yes, we are and have been an interracial couple for almost 25 years. Waitress assumed two checks at the table and did not fix. Gave us two checks both times even after my wide told her we were together and married. This is not satisfactory service. We left a little peeved with our waitress.

I got the #4 crab boil. When the food was brought to me, I noticed that the crab legs were breaking in half and they were not coming out whole, which meant they were over cooked. I alerted the waitress who got the manager. I was told that there was nothing they can do for it, but re-cook the cluster and I said that was fine. The manager, Ariana, then stated that there are no promises with the cooking of their crab legs but acknowledged that the legs were overcooked and apologized that there was nothing that she could do. She did offer to give me dessert but I am not eating sweets so that was not appropriate for me. I paid the bill and left.

Wanted to get out for a night of crab legs! Google up places near me and found Crazee Crab. The menu looked great and prices even better! They advertised snow crab clusters for $14 and two for just $24! What a deal! But the real deal was the King Crab Legs at $40 a pound! There were plenty of options for seasonings and boil bags, but I went old school: Steamed King Crab with garlic butter on the side! They brought me out a really nice portion of juicy, sweet, steamed legs that were out of this world! My waitress was super attentive and polite. Checked on me regularly and made the experience well worth while. The whole evening ran me $50 that included the crab, a 20 oz. happy hour Modelo and tip. Glad I went and will be going back again!

The host at the front door was very nice and friendly. But what was disturbing is our bill was $34.64 and the host was given $40.00 and the change given back was only $5.00 not $5.36. I brought that to her attention and she told me that the manager tell them not to give the change back to customers. Well I told her that I had .64 cents in change so that she could give us back $6.00. She said that she had change to give back. It not a lot but its the principle, that is a bad practice. A manager shouldnt tell staff member to hijack customers change. Let the customer make that decision. I did get two fried shrimp platter and I wish that the shrimps could have been a little bigger and 2 little bitty hush puppy, they could have added more. My order was a take out also

The waiter got our drink orders wrong and we just accept it what she gave us and then instead of correct in the mistake her comment was oh so it worked itself out. Yes, it worked itself out because we are allowed it to she didn t try to fix the drink order that she messed up or anything we just accepted it. This place is a tried. I had a craving for crawfish tails. So I decided to give this place a try because it s literally right up the street from my house. I was hoping to love the seafood but ended up highly disappointed. The seafood boil #6 was super bland (and I had their house Cajun seasoning, the fried shrimp and catfish that my husband had tasted off he said the batter tasted funny and the kids burgers was extremely dry. My three year old son who loves a good burger could not even eat it. The only good part of our Sunday dinner at Crazee Crab was the friendly waitress that served us. I ended up taking my seafood home, washing off all their seasoning (which just tasted like garlic) and re-seasoning it to enjoy my $60 that I spent on the boil. I will not be returning unfortunately.

The shrimp is not clean at all. I opened 5 shrimp in a row and they all were not cleaned at all. Very unsanitary and a waste of money. Now I see why they don t offer refunds on seafood orders with issues. They d be refunding half of the orders. I came shortly before closing and got a carry out. I called about the shrimp but they were closed. I will certainly return in the morning with the bag because for the expensive prices this is completely unacceptable. Henry, my server, was perfect. He was humble and made sure my experience was great. He continually refilled my beverages and provided everything I needed for my meal without requests. He bagged up my leftovers as well. I got the boil #5 and added snow crab cluster in the dry rub Cajun at medium spice. I guess I m a whimp, because after awhile my sinuses were clearing and my mouth was on fire. That didn t stop me though, it was sooo good. My favorite was the crab. The crawfish were a little on the small side, but that s probably due to the season. The portions are huge. I definitely underestimated the size. For one person, the boil is beyond enough. I even pushed myself for an hour. Good thing I wore stretchy pants. The price is upwards. I spent $70 before tip. However, that price does reflect the market. I find it to be reasonable and within similar pricing of other similar establishments. The only major drawback is the MUSIC. It wasn t family friendly (lots of cursing rap) and way too loud. The speakers even sounded busted. I could hear everyone s conversations because they had to talk over the music. There is no reason, a person sitting in the dining room, should be able to hear the conversations across the restaurant. I noticed, after my visit, previous reviews stating 2 months ago this issue also, but it seems to not have been resolved.

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting here they even have signs that say to clean up after yourself, so I doubt anyone actually cleans them. The worst part was the food, the fried jalapenos were really tart/not hot. They gave you a thimble of ranch for almost 3 cups worth of jalapenos as well. There was only one server for the whole place. It wasnt busy . There was several unbiased tables around. The server (sorry I didnt get her name) Came and sat us , waited on us took exceptional care of us, all while attending door,delivering food,mixing drinks , cashing people out, and did this all with a brilliant smile an attitude. Food came out hot and extremely tasty, Great experience here

Look. I really, really wanted to give this place a better rating. The food was really good, much better than expected even. The mommas chicken was crispy, our blackened shrimp poboy was delicious. The Mac and cheese was on point. The sweet potato fries were the best. Only the dirty rice was lacking. The food came out relatively quickly. However, it was some of the worst service Ive ever received. The location was not busy, yet it took more than ten minutes for our server to acknowledge us. Once our order was taken, he only came back long after the meal was finished. We asked for to-go containers, which were brought, but were completely ignored after. After fifteen minutes, my wife caught the servers eye and asked for our ticket. He just stared, confusedly. She repeated the request, at which point he walked away and grabbed a broom and began sweeping the floor. Now confused ourselves, we decided to ask the server waiting the table next to us for our ticket. She just walked on by, and we werent being subtle. Quite frustrated, I just went to the bar and asked. A different person brought it and we paid quickly. However, 40 of the 60+ minutes of our visit were spent just trying to get the attention of the wait staff. If you dont mind this, the food is well worth it.

They were out of potatoes for 2 days. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is really easy to get around if you are in a wheelchair. Also, the bathrooms are handicap accessible so wheelchairs can fit. Also, the bathrooms are handicap accessible so wheelchairs can fit.

I m a little disappointed with Crazee Crab. My husband and I usually love this place. However, I tried their fried oysters for the first time and it was nothing but breading! There was very minimal amounts of oysters in the the batter! $16 for breading was not what I should have paid for.

All my friends BRAGGED about how good it was, but I was Disappointed. It was bland, made me nauseous, and I cant understand how a seafood restaurant serve Imitation crab meat in the Popular crab dip. I got to gumbo the containers melted soon as I left the parking lot. Cant put piping hot food in the plastic containers and its 95 degrees. they should have let it cool off first before they let me go home with it and I live 2 minutes away and the containers melted was not happy about that. Crazy crab Im just letting you know. Thank you crazy crab for sticking to your promise to refill my order everything was all good this time and the lobster mac and cheese was wonderful. Thank you thank you thank you Ill see you again real soon. Kid-friendliness: Wait staff was wonderful.

Been some time. Had a few mediocre experiences yesterday and had to return to a sure thing. Had the #4 with Rajun Cajun spice, perfectly spiced and cooked. Had the Chip & Dip such an unassuming name for an amazing dish! Is this a dip????? Or, a bisque. Who cares, it is the bomb! Again, gotta have a Baller to lubricate everything.

Update: Either owner lied about reviewing cameras, or they lied to him about what happened. Employees wanted to leave on time and turned people away. Its not the first restaurant to do that to people. Next time Ill record us getting turned away and the time plus business hours on doors so I can post on Grand Prairie TX Talk. Then Ill buy something to get a receipt and call corporate to providethe feedback. Be honest instead of shady! It happened twice and instead of apologizing or correcting your staff, you chose to call us liars. In not trying to get anything free here but rather give yall some honest feedback so you and your business can grow from it and get better. Negating the customers feedback with a flat out inaccurate statement doesnt look well for you. Plus you dont know how far people will go to prove a point. Dont put your business or there like that. I know the time we were there. Hostess with black hair told us they were closed for dine in but could order for takeaway. A couple before us was turned away as well and then we saw them at On the Border eating too. . Bad ethics on you part pal. I would not waste my time writing a review if it happened twice. Never been to Crazy crab. Tried twice. Both times I have been turned away because they are done with Indoor dining but They were both before 9 PM. I just got turned away at 8:40 PM today. It seems like they dont want peoples business.

The service was amazing. My food was delicious. They offered more than one sauce option. The variety ranged from a dry rub to a buttery seasoned option to a saucy one. The flavor was great. I had snow crab, turkey necks, shrimp, and sausage. They even had a burger option for my 6 year old daughter. I would definitely recommend!

Theyre extra stingy with the lemons. Paid $40 for 2 pounds of shrimp.... and they put 4 lemon slices in the large cup. I went back in and asked for more, they gave me like 2 more slices. What a joke. If you come, be prepared to overpay them for less than what other restaurants give.

Staff was extremely nice and pointed me towards the best seasoning! Sadly they gave me the wrong to-go order with sausage in it. I don t eat meat and I could not enjoy the sauce, potatoes, or corn since they were all soaked in the same juice.
