The service was amazing. The kindest woman(wish I would have asked her name) helped me choose what to order. It was absolutely delicious. I hardly come to the area- but when I do I know where to eat! Also, their popsicle was the perfect touch for a hot TX day.

Ordered for pickup, they marked food complete. Truck wasnt there for the day. Didnt pick up calls or anything. Why mark the food complete when youre not even operating that day? waste of time. Cant even get a refund. ----- Update ------ Seller responded and made things right. Their food is great quality. Just seems they had an issue this time. Thank you for resolving.

Wow, just wow. I placed a pick up order for a Tripleta, fries, a rellenito and Pastelillos de Guayaba. The food was undistinguishable from my island in Puerto Rico. Exquisite and every ingredient tasted fresh. I m looking forward to continue to order different items from the menu to try everything out.

Asked what they recommended for someones first time trying Puerto Rican food; got El Morro Churrasco with fried pork. I enjoyed the food, the rice was a little sweet and savory has a layer of plantains had a good taste to it. The pork bites were nicely fried and seasoned. Meal cost $14, think its a fair for the price. They also have a platter for around $40 to try a bit of everything. Will come back for this next time. Edit: I went back for the platter, it was a lot of food, and the family enjoyed it.

I travel approximately 30 minutes north of the DFW airport (Coppell) to visit Mi Perú Borinqueño. We have visited several times usually on Saturdays and we always check before going if it is open. Today we arrived around 4 pm since they close on Saturdays at 6 pm. To our surprise it was already closed and the reason was that it was very hot inside the truck (kitchen). For future occasions, it would be beneficial for those of us who only make the trip to enjoy their food to somehow publish it on their networks to avoid the disappointment of arriving and not being able to eat. BTW the food is very good if you get to eat it.

We had a wonderful experience at this food truck. Where to begin I have been living in DFW for about 10 months now, and I m hungry for Peruvian food since I grew up in Peru. I haven t found a spot until now that awakened my inner Inka. Let s start with the service. Oh wow, they were so attentive to us and our interests. They had great recommendations. And they gave us an honest estimate for how long our food would take. Now, the food delicious! I was sold on the yucca cheese balls, and they were unlike anything I had ever tasted. My wife scarfed them down with all 3 sauces. I highly recommend this item. The lomo saltado is an authentic blend of all the right flavors in this classic Peruvian dish. The tallarines verdes were a flavorful recipe with flat fettuccini noodles to fill us up. The churrasco was perfectly cooked and tore apart tenderly. The papa a la huancaína provided a spicy experience that is too often watered down at other restaurants. We topped off our meal with a chicha morada which refreshed us on this hot summer day. I can t wait to come back.

Best Puerto Rican food truck in Texas! Reminds me of the food trucks from the beaches of Puerto Rico! Alcapurias, ensalada de pulpo con los tostones tan rico que no necesita sal para nada! (No salt needed for anything they serve! Its already cooked with so much flavor. Its made to perfection!) Yuca fries and pastelillos de carne (empanadas of ground beef) and you cannot forget the tostones relleno de tripleta (beef chicken and ham) omg so much flavor! Track them down wherever they go! Right now they are serving the Grand Prarie, Texas area at the outlet mall. Enjoy!!!! And your welcome!!!!

My husband was skeptical of trying food from a food truck. I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. My husband ended up eating my plate as well. This is a MUST TRY food truck. I will definitely come back again. We had the tripleta monfongo with all three meats, fried plantains, sweet plantains, empanadas, Churrasco Plate (yellow rice, meat salad and tostones). Along with Malta and coconut soda. You will not regret giving this place a try.

If you re craving Puerto Rican food in the DFW, this is your spot! This couple is committed to the authentic flavors of the island. When we have gone there their commitment to respectful communication and service are apparent; this without leaving behind the safety guidelines (in case you are high risk ). All of this comes with an amazing presentation and affordable prices in today s NOT so accessible market. That tray was only $32 plus $2.63 tax. Their commitment to impeccable service has been present each time and for that we are grateful.
