I used to really like this place, always was good food, except for these last 2-3 times I have ordered from here. You know you get one bad experience at a place you like so you give it another chance ( chances ) hoping they improved or it just was an off time to order food. But nah the chicken quesadillas have not been good, meat tastes bland like it was cooked a while ago, the quality of the chicken, even my churros the last 3 times were old hard and not hot. idk what it is but with all the competition I m likely to try and find a different taco spot.

The salsa bar was cool. The carnitas was good. The rest of the tacos we got (tongue, bistec, al pastor, barbacoa) were very bland. The environment was laid back. The tacos were filled with meat though. The horchata was too sweet. My favorite salsa was the serrano. In summary, Guanataco was ok. I expected more after reading all of the reviews here. I would come back to try something else, but still prefer another taqueria closeby more.

Finally, I found a good place that has street tacos, and this is my number 1 now. They have hot sauce that Is actually hot. Most places just have sauce that is so weak youll think a guy that thinks ground pepper is to hot make it. The meat that is juicy most places its all dried up and over cooked 10/10 I just wish there was one a lot closer

Horrible! Waited 40 minutes to pay for my to go order. By the time I got to the counter my order was cold so I asked the cashier to take the fries off since it had been so long. She took them out of the bag but still charged me for them. I guess she thought i wasnt going to notice that. So i went back into the restaurant and asked for a refund. Had to wait again for someone else to come over to help. I spent 45.00 on terrible COLD Food. ..a waste of money and the cashier was very rude. I wont be going back.

I recently visited Guanataco in Grand Prairie, TX, and had to try their quesabirria tacos since I m a huge fan. Let me just say they did not disappoint! The quesabirria tacos were incredibly flavorful, tender, and just melted in my mouth. The chimichurri sauce was also on point; I honestly wanted to take some home with me! And let s not forget the margaritas they gave me a good buzz and perfectly complemented the meal. If you re looking for authentic and delicious tacos with some great drinks, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

For the past 5 years I ve been coming here for my steak fries , yesterday I went and completely different plate, under cook fries meat was not the same like before , ( fries cheese carne jalapeños that was it ) so lame , still good but not the same , disappointed, maybe they got new owner new cooks or whatever, bring the old steak fries back I got the Birria tacos too , the consome was just juice , sooooo plain no flavor , I gave it to my dog he enjoyed it with the tacos Miss the old Guanataco , till then I ll get my consome from Salsa Verde , the best !!!

Been going to this restaurant for some years but today I received terrible customer service. Five people that ordered after me received their orders before me. I asked the cashier about my order and everyone seemed confused because some how my order wasn t printed out. They were nice enough to remake the order but they still messed it up I asked for no onions they gave me onions, I asked and paid for avocado, no avocado. They also put very little meat in my tacos. I trusted them, so no I didn t check my food before leaving. I called and spoke with the manager and she said oh there s nothing I can do about it, at that moment I hung up on her. I will not be returning to this establishment and with that type of customer service, I will not recommend.

The place always is busy and Ive picked up lots of orders for a food delivery service that I deliver for. Ive always wanted to try so finally did on July 13th and it was awesome. The only bad thing I would have to say about them is they need better pictures of some of the food bc it doesnt do it justice. The quesadillas did not look good in the photo but I ordered anyways and like I said they were awesome. So if your thinking about ordering from here or going here, dont be discouraged by photos of the food bc they are not doing the taste justice. Definitely going to eat here again soon.

I love this place, I have come several times because they have vegetarian options but they need to change the way they serve the food, yesterday I ordered nopales tacos and they use the same meat spoon to serve the nopales. If you are a vegetarian it is because we cannot consume meat, please use a special spoon for vegetables. Its not the first time that it happens that I find pieces of meat in my tacos and I always end up with a stomach ache. Please change that.

Food was mid at best. I ordered an Alambre special, they forgot my shrimp, the lady at the counter asked me what I wanted them to do about it. I dont know why they think its a good idea to put tortillas under the cooked food, I couldnt make a taco out of any of the tortillas because they were all wet with meat juices. Quesadilla plate was good with lots of meat, quesabirria plate was also good. Overall the experience was ok, but not what I expected...

My BFs sister recommended this place to us tonight, and, now, Im recommending it to YOU. Its a counter order/ buzzy coaster/counter pick-up no nonsense kind of place. Speaking of counter, the employee behind it was so very kind and patient with my questions. We ordered the Alambras and the chicken burrito, elotes and an extra side of rice and beans. The portions were huge and the food was delicious! We enjoyed cold modelos and world cup semi final futbol on the big screen while waiting for our order. It was out quickly, and we devoured it. You should go here. Dont wait for taco Tuesday. Suggestion: read the wall signs and look at all the pictures under your table glass;. If you dont giggle, you will, at least, smile.

Had me on hold for 25 minutes, came to the restaurant and no one was in line or waiting, front girl had such and attitude she kept bending her head over and then walking to the side to talk to her coworker before taking our order keep in mind no one was waiting for food. The food is great! But today, I was treated badly for customer service. Long story short, I have the app, and I order online to earn points. Today, I had enough points for something free, and I chose an elote. As I picked up my order and my free elote, the employee female didnt believe, especially after showing her proof on my phone. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said he wasnt in. I told her Im not lying. I even got confirmation for my free order, and still, she wouldnt believe it and said I had to pay for it. I felt bad for the young man employee helping me and telling her that I was right, but she insisted. Tell the gentleman went back to look for my order and found it. He apologized for the inconvenience and another employee but not the female employee who gave me a hard time. To me, they need to train her a little bit on being professional. Never had bad customer service at this place, but I guess everything is a first.

Saw this place on Instagram and had to try it. Hands down some of the best authentic Mexican food! This place is always packed out the door, but they have plenty of staff and manage the line great. Weve ordered the quesabirria tacos that came with a side of the sauce theyre dipped in by far the best in town! Flautas were fried to golden to and came with rice and beans. The pozole is the best weve tried, and they pack their bowls that you might have to take it home. The taco plate is also delicious they look small, but they pack them with your choice of meat. The burrito bowl and the burritos are great.....you cant go wrong EVERYTHING IS GOOD! I almost forgot they have the best salsa bar in the DFW, like 20 types! Parking: The lot is small, so youll have to park on the right side of the building. If you wait in front for about 2-3 minutes you might catch someone leaving.

On my second visit it was a very bad experience, my order was left last, it took a long time, they gave it to me wrong and incomplete and they refused to complete the order and change what was wrong. The super rude and bad-tempered employee was a short, robust brunette. The service was terrible. The tripe tacos were extremely browned, I ordered a soft one and the tripe was stinky, it seems like they dont clean the meat well. The carnitas tacos were the only redeeming feature. The chicharrón gordita had an old or rotten flavor. I definitely dont recommend it, there are better places without rude employees.

First time trying this place after seeing it on TikTok and IG several times and we were in the area. Gotta say I was pretty impressed. For a family of 5 (2 adults, 1 preteen, and 2 6yos) we spent about $60 in food, beverages, margs, and dessert. That was awesome because that could ve easily been $100+ at Cheddar s or something (which was our second option). I enjoy getting pastor taco as anywhere I go and the ones here were pretty good. I love the different salsas they had and how they had descriptions of them at the serving station. Kids got tacos de bistek and we got an order of birria tacos. Everything was delicious. They packed up the tacos with meat pretty good. The agua fresca de sandía was sweet and delightful. And the cajeta filled churros were bomb. They reminded me of the churros they serve at Tacos La Ventana. Warm, sugary and filled with the perfect amount of cajeta. Hubby loved the happy hour Micheladas. They were $4.50!!!!! And they tasted so good. Overall, we d definitely visit again. It was consistently packed while we were there. The line would get down to about 3-4 people and then a rush of customers came in again and there would be a line to the door. That tells you it s good!

Horrible Customer Service - Online Order I ordered online today to pickup at their Belt Line location, got a confirmation and all went to pick my food up and told them my name. Was handed two bags and got my drink and left. Got home and noticed the complete order was wrong. In the end my order went to nowhere(they couldn t find it), when I called to resolve initially the girl at the take out area told me I should have checked the bags before leaving and that was just horrible customer service, instead of taking blame which in the end was the restaurants fault she tried to make me take the blame. I went back to the restaurant and spoke to a different woman which at least didn t blame it on me, but no one issued an apology or anything for their mistake which sucks. I won t be back even though their food is actually good. Be careful ordering from them online through their website.

These were the best street tacos ever. I usually don t get too excited about tacos, but this place is noteworthy and I can t wait to take my adult children to this place. It s a little out of the way for me, but worth the drive. Try to get there before 11:30 or after 12:45 because they get slammed at lunch time. The beef is tender and flavorful, served on a double corn tortilla, 3 each was more than enough. The refried beans, my least favorite item, were a little too thin for my liking, but still good with the rice. I ll be going back soon. Parking: Free, plentiful parking in the lot. Kid-friendliness: No playground or anything, but this place is casual enough that having children at the table wouldn t be a big deal. Wheelchair accessibility: The parking is wide open, the problem is with how close the tables are and how packed with people it becomes at mealtimes. That said, the vibe is friendly and I don t see any issue with people making way.

First time eating from from here last night, 2/8/24, had it delivered thru Uber Eats. I ordered the 10 Taco special, soup & shrimp cocktail. I was missing both the soup & shrimp cocktail ($20ish). Tacos were ok. Used a discount for delivery that I cant use again. So overall very disappointed with this order.

The food is good but the place is very small for the number of people who consume there, which generates a wait to order of 15 to 25 minutes and since you ordered your food, the wait is 30 minutes or more meanwhile you look to see if there is a table available because the place is very small, as I said, the food is delicious

I always come here when Im feeling mexican food. This was my first tike doing pick up online, I didnt know where to pick up my food so I asked the cashier where is online pickup and she piunted to my food that was on the side and she said Your food is on the counter and pointed at it. So I went over and I went to spin rhe plastic bag to see the name ( even though mine was the only one there ) this old lady with red hair that is fading she snatched it and gave me Hella attitude saying that next time for me to wait. Yes it was my bad but the lady told me to get my food but either way she did not need to snatch the bag right from my hand like that and give me attitude. Not only that I asked for one more thing because I ordered 2 dinners and one of the dinner asks for sauce by the other order doesnt ask for sauce so I ask for one lid. Here she goes again giving me hella stank attitude saying she put the two sauces in the bag when I literally ordered two dinners. Not only that they never charge you whenever you ask for lids so why was it an issue now? I love their good but that lady definitely ruined it for me. She needs to stop giving customers attitude specifically if the customer didnt do anything wrong or cause an issue.
