Went here with my family after my wedding and had a fantastic time. They made a charcuterie board just for us! Also gave us a nice slice of cheesecake. A fantastic dinner for such a special occasion.

The food was delicious and Heather, our server, was so attentive. She took great care of our party of five, we were celebrating two birthdays and she made sure they felt celebrated! The whole experience was amazing. We did see a guest appearance of Mr. Texas Roach which was unexpected to say the least but as it was after our meals and just as we were getting ready to pay and leave, it wasn t a big deal. Y all! Their desserts are so delicious! Everything we had was delicious, from the Alfredo Pasta dish, to the country fried steak, to the macadamia encrusted jumbo shrimp, to the polenta wedges- everything was so delicious. Do not even get me started on the 3 alarm blackout cake. Everything was delicious and Heather really was a great server to our party! I recommend 10/10

Well, we needed a place to have brunch prior to a concert that we drove to at the Colette performing arts center and it was a tossup to either stay in Austin and eat brunch or go to Georgetown. We went to Georgetown. Fail. This place looks pretty good online, but it was pretty awful and bland. Both my friend and I ordered the eggs Oscar, which was supposed to be with of course hollandaise sauce over a muffin which they didn t describe what type of muffin so we ordered English muffins, which came out soggy. That should ve been crispy. It was supposed to come with crab meat, lump crab meat. There was none on my order. There were some soggy asparagus. The fried potatoes were OK and the hollandaise sauce was disgusting. It was cold and almost glued to the egg which wasn t even poached properly. It was overcooked. While the kind manager did not charge us for the egg dishes we paid for our wine and coffee And will probably not be back there

Our server was a bit late after some confusion to get drinks, but was kind and on top of it once cleared. Nice soft music and comfortable setting. The onion rings - didnt really have a taste to them. But, the horseradish was good pairing to give them taste. We both ordered The Big Dipper or what not. Sorry, forgot name - but, is a French dip with a better meat. It was good and we had no complaints. He also had the French Onion Soup and loved that the most. Overall, it was a good experience. Nothing over the top, but good quality and service all around.

The service and atmosphere were wonderful which is why I am giving 3 stars. However, the food was awful and especially for the price. My fiance ordered the cowboy bone-in ribeye and I ordered the New York strip and both steaks had zero flavor other than the charcoal. I put some salt and pepper on my steak and it made it slightly better, but for ~$40 a steak I should not be seasoning my own steak. This was the second time we ve been here. The first time was for a brunch and was amazing food, service, and all! But after tonight we won t be returning, at least not for dinner. But again the service and atmosphere were great! Also, recommendation the dead Indian on a horse on the dessert menu doesn t look right at first glance, and kinda a weird picture. But appreciate the dinner conversation it will provide lol.

I ordered a med rare ribeye. It came out looking a little over medium. I was told that was their definition of med rare. Fair enough, but maybe warn me of such a large difference from industry standards. It also was not seasoned very well. Duck breast was pretty good. Tables are so close that I had a person less than two feet to my left and right.

Food and drinks were good. Service needs to be improved tho. Our waitress, McKenna was decent all the way to the end (service was average) until the check was given to us. I assume the expectation was for a tip above average but we tipped the customary amount. She snubbed us after she collected the check and was banging trays on the table behind us. I m all for giving great tips but the service should be worth that. If you re providing average services and want tips that s beyond that, I don t think it s fair. I guess you need to be ready to tip HIGH no matter the service because I have to say, the last 10 minutes ruined the mood and we left with a bad taste in our mouth.

Good friend and fellow author David Ciambrone from Georgetown and I needed to catch up and meet for dinner. Since he lives there, I told him to pick. Wildfire, he said with NO hesitation. OMG! I got there early and waited in the bar. Excellent Gentleman Jack and Coke. Were seated about 10 minutes ahead of estimated time. Had seen the Bison Loin Strip on their site and had to try it. Been years since Id had bison. It was PERFECT! Great smoked taste. Salad, bison, loaded baked potato. All fantastic. And then had their pecan pie and coffee for dessert. Not a SLICE of pecan pie. A whole, small pecan pie in a cast iron skillet. He and I split half of it and ptook half home. It was Excellent and fresh out of the oven...and I own a pecan grove and am a native Texan, so if I say its good, its good. Will schedule another visit with my wife. I havent been able to shut up about it since I got home. If youre anywhere near Georgetown, go to Wildfire. You wont regret it. Also, try Monument Cafe. Its been around for many years, so it isnt the newest talk of the town, but their food and service is top notch. Try their King Ranch Casserole and visit their gardens on site.

We took an impromptu drive into Georgetown to see the 3-D printer/construction of houses in the area and were hungry afterwards. We attempted to go to another restaurant that wasn t quite our preference and left without ordering. *Insert Wildfire Even though they were busy and it was Friday night, we were seated within 5 minutes. All of the staff were polite and clearly wanted to provide exceptional service. McKenna was our waitress last night and she was fantastic! She made us laugh several times and was knowledgeable about the menu. (Which is quite extensive!) She remained attentive throughout our meal without smothering us and she boxed our take home food. The manager was helping his staff by refilling water and checking in with the customers, which isn t always something you find in restaurants these days. We had a fantastic experience and look forward to returning soon!

Really good wait staff. our server was great. I loved my tuna with collard greens and rice pilaf. I did not like my husbands strip steak it was subpar was not a very good cut of meat. it was thin and a little overcooked it was like medium medium well and he ordered it medium rare , but its hard to get a steak medium rare when it Is that thin. I definitely would go back though. I thought the Calamari was a little tough and we eat it out everywhere. We love it ! but I wasnt crazy about it. My husband liked it . I thought for the restaurant looking kind of upscale that it would have a little bit better presentation. Like maybe on a bigger plate. But thats not really a big deal. My food taste good I could really Overlook that. The desserts look like they were presented very well. I didnt order dessert. I just saw it go by And it looked good.

This is a well-oiled, service minded staff, that is guest focused. The ambiance had this past period feel. It was as if you were in high-end 1930s steakhouse. The table was perfect. Linen table cloth with a real single steam rose (on each table) and cloth napkins. I wish I could have shown you. I say, go for yourself. We want to come back and sit at the enclosed bar.

Decided to give the place a try for our 13th wedding anniversary last night. The good: ambiance - its an old-timey feel and quite comfortable. Menus (food & drink) were very diverse with lots of appealing options. My wife and Is mojitos were very enjoyable. Our dessert was fantastic. Our server, Jason, was very good despite being new. His visit intervals were perfect and took good care of us. The bad: sat down and ordered a drink, and the bar messed up. So wasnt off to a great start, but Jason promptly got it corrected (less than a minute probably, impressive). Minor inconvenience, no biggie. The calamari was overpriced and nothing special. Tasted like your run-of-the-mill calamari. The worst was paying $44 for a 20 oz., bone-in cowboy ribeye that looked like the thin, cheap steak you get with a steak & eggs plate at IHOP. This thing was less than 3/4 thick and barely seasoned with nothing more than salt & pepper. Maybe I just got unlucky with my cut, who knows. Thankfully they cooked it at the proper temperature, otherwise, a completely underwhelming waste of money. Also, Jason failed to promptly come by to check if the temperature of my steak was correct. Thats a #1 rule when your customer orders a steak - make sure its cooked correctly. The menu had several intriguing options, so I would like to return at some point. But I am certainly not ordering a steak from there again.

We ordered the Macadamia Crusted Shrimp and the bacon wrapped filet mignon and baked potato. My shrimp entree was flavorless. The rice was gummy and lukewarm. My husbands filet was undercooked (he requested medium) and needed salt. The bread and mojitos (peach and mango) were delicious though.

We ate 2 nights ago. Appetizers were great, Calamari and Pork Belly. My wife and I had the 10 oz Rib Eye steaks. The sides were good, the drinks were good. But the steaks no. I ordered Medium ( it was undercooked) and both our steaks were fatty and grissley and didnt taste right. I think wood cooking a steak leaves a woody taste instead of the natural steak flavor. I would recommend a higher quality (and thicker) cut of beef, and cook it as a high quality steak house would. (Leave the wood fire to something else).

The atmosphere was good in the bar. The drinks were not good. Had an old fashioned and a wildfire wildflower. The old fashioned tasted like medicine a bit. I thought it needed some sweetness so I asked for some but it didnt help. The wildflower was strong but not good enough to finish says the other half. We got the stuffed shrimp with wild rice and baby spinach. The bacon was burnt and the shrimp overcooked a smidge. The rice was a little crunchy. Not al dente, crunchy. The 10oz ribeye was done medium rare and cooked perfectly. The baked potatoe was a little dry. The portabello mushrooms were good. I did not let the restaurant know as we live out of town, so if we stop back in Georgetown I would not consider coming back. For me to spend this amount of money on dinner I expect it to be good all around. I need good drinks, food, service and atmosphere.

Have lived in Georgetown for many years and never have been to this restaurant until tonight for my daughters 40th birthday, which is actually tomorrow, but shes been wanting to go, and let me tell you, I took my first bite and it was sooo amazing, I told our server, Brett, right away! I had the flash fired fried country chicken breast..not only was the food delicious, but our server was attentive, friendly and nice, and my daughter also got her birthday cheesecake, on the house! She had the veal and my son in law had the bison, which he shared with my grandson. We all loved the food, so kudos to the chefs and well ask for Brett next time!!

I m not from Georgetown and I picked this place for dinner not knowing much about it- I was extremely impressed. My server was Jeremy, he was very friendly and gave us great service. He was also knowledgeable about recommending a variety of menu items. We started with the shrimp artichoke hearts which were unique and so good. I ordered the beef tenderloin Oscar and my friend ordered the lamb and we shared. Then we got the banana dessert which was incredible. Everything was phenomenal- it was delicious. Travis the manager stopped by to ask us how everything was and was very professional and genuine. He clearly cares about his staff, he was constantly checking on tables and his servers. This was an 11/10 experience and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who s looking for a great meal in Georgetown!

Words can t describe our meal at Wildfire. It was truly one of the best meals I have ever had. I have travelled all over and eaten street tacos off a highway in Mexico to fine dinning in major cities. The steak is the best I have ever tasted. It literally melts in your mouth and oozed with flavor. The salmon with pancetta was sublime. The tomatillo corn sauce was the perfect accompaniment. I Will happily drive an hour and a half again for an unexpected and unforgettable meal. Kudos to the staff and chef for such a wonderful and spectacular restaurant.

Although the service was great, the food could be compared to overpriced Applebees/ bar food. Great presentation but poor quality on the taste side. Food tasted frozen, and bottled nothing tasted fresh. The bison was tough, the smoked duck was oddly textured and the macadamia crusted shrimp was over cooked. Again, nice place - great service - crummy food

We love Wildfire! Weve been a number of times. Today, they had the Champagne Brunch menu. I had the Greek salad with seared tuna, and my husband had the fried chicken. They also gave us raspberry scones, with butter. Everything was delicious, and Shannon was a great waitress. When the place is busy, the dining room is very noisy, but at 2 pm on a Sunday, it was very mellow.

Top notch service; possibly the best I have EVER experienced! Being a vegan at a southern restaurant, I figured I wouldnt have many options. However, Mckenna and Amber went above and beyond to make me an absolutely scrumptious salad. The genuine kindness and effort put in to make sure I had a positive experience was truly heartwarming. The cocktails were phenomenal as well. Dietary restrictions: Manager Amber came to the table to talk me through the menu till we found something suitable for me!

We randomly stopped in on a Friday evening and were seated amazingly fast-despite not having a reservation and the place being packed!! This was our first visit and surely wont be our last! Service was quick and efficient with the most friendly server in Texas. We had a great time. Food was delicious! We had the chicken fried steak and a pasta dish with pasta...along with the Brussels sprouts and beet salad and a garden salad. The complimentary rolls were delicious too. I really enjoyed finding my favorite Texas winery-grape creek wine affordably on the menu by the glass. Also noted one of my favorite Cali cabs -Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon was available by the bottle at a reasonable price too! We are sure to become regulars! Thank you for a wonderful night yall!!

Elegant setting for an exquisite Sunday Brunch on the square in Downtown Georgetown, Texas. Our meal began with fresh fruit topped with coconut and delicious large, triangle blueberry scones. Next we tried two different soups- both wonderful. My favorite was a shrimp chowder with roasted corn. My entree was Eggs Oscar with a generous serving of lump crab meat, plus perfectly seared tasty salmon and poached eggs. A perfect Hollandaise sauce completed this treat all on top of an English muffin with roasted asparagus and home style potatoes on the side. The music was great, too!

Went here for the first time. The service was amazing. I could not have asked for a more attentive server. She was knowledgeable on the menu and made great suggestions for dinner. I was disappointed with the bacon wrapped scallops. They were burnt and had a very smoky taste which I didn t care for. I had chicken fried steak which was delicious. In spite of the appetizer failure I would go back.

Fabulous experience was had by our party of 11, celebrating the holidays. The food was amazing, affordable and delicious. Our waitress, Shannon, was superb. She provided excellent service and was so friendly and personable and excellent with the toddler in our party. When it came to packing up our leftovers, she went above and beyond by expertly packing our food to survive the long drive home. A great time was had by all. Thanks Wildfire!

We really enjoyed a recent meal at Wildfire before a performance at the Palace Theatre. Adrianna ensured that we had everything we needed for our meal. For starters, we shared the large serving of the Roasted Beet and Brussels Sprout salad and it was plenty for the two of us. We had a bottle of the 21 Hullabaloo Old Vine Zinfandel as well. For entrees, we had the roast duck and the elk. Both entrees were cooked perfectly to our desired temperature and came with poblano mashed potatoes and roast asparagus (hers with roast carrots too). The restaurant was full, but both front and back of house were on point and made the flow of the meal flawless. You won t be disappointed!

I decided on the Rib Eye, and it was OK, but I should have known, given the low price, that it could not measure up to my home cooked Rib Eye steak experience.
