Hands down- by far, THE VERY BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT that I have EVER had the pleasure of finding and enjoying in the last 5 years (since moving to Texas). From the moment we walked in- we were greeted and seated....wonderful atmosphere, friendly (but not annoying or absent) service, great menu, awesome margaritas.....fish tacos TO DIE FOR and just an overall, very refreshing/SATISFYING experience cant wait to come back already!!! ......and the people who run it are extremely kind and accommodating.....very rare these days!!! Food is very good. I had the Chili Colorado. The color was red, of course! The stewed beef was wonderfully tender. The corn tortillas were ok. Too thin and not made locally. Refried beans and Mexican rice were good. The iced tea was very good. Mexican Cokes are available. Service was excellent. Very nice, polite and attentive. Prices in the $15 range. Shrimp dishes $18. Lots to explore on the menu. Pozole! Mole!

Went to Marisols for the first time and was shocked! What looks like a tiny strip mall eatery from the outside is actually a pretty large and inviting restaurant on the inside! Very friendly, very clean. The food portions are perfect, priced very reasonably and some of the best Mexican dishes Ive had in years. I cant wait to take the rest of my family to Marisols.

Love the food, very delicious. The staff are very nice and patient. Decorations are beautiful. I ordered a takeout on Tuesday night but forgot to take a receipt. Yesterday I called the restaurant, the staff kindly transferred my call to her manager. The manager was patient, he found my order, printed a receipt, even with a copy of my credit card payment. I really appreciate their help.

My wife heard about this place from multiple people. Went for the first time on Sunday afternoon. What a nice place inside. The entrance and the seating and decor. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Very busy when we arived at 1:30pm. This place has very flavorful authentic Mexican style. Staff was so nice. Our lunch combos tasted very delicious. Great selection and choice of food and drinks as well. We really enjoyed every aspect of Marisols. Highly recommend!

My hubby and I ate there based on all the good reviews so want to share our experience. Service was fine. Salsa was just okay- nothing special. Chips were like store bought chips. We both had enchiladas - I had steak fajitas enchiladas and he had chicken. They were both bland. You would think Mexican food would have some flavor. We won t be going back.

We went to Marisols for lunch on a Thursday. We were seated right away, although they were fairly busy. The chips were disappointing. They were similar to the mass-produced tortilla chips you get in a bag at a grocery store. But the salsa was very good! Great flavor and just the right amount of spice. The same goes for the main courses we tried. Fresh and flavorful. Although we did not get the chili con queso on the chimichanga, the enchiladas on the other plates had just the right amount of sauce over the top. Not so much as to drown the plate, but enough to compliment and not overpower the enchilada filing. Just FYI.... if you ask for more lettuce or tomatoes, theres an extra charge for each. We really enjoyed our meal! This place is unassuming on the outside. Looks like just another strip mall restaurant. But dont be fooled.... this is a great place to get fresh and authentic Mexican food. Give it a try!

This family run business is spot on. The margaritas were incredible to start and the spicer salsa has a nice little bite of heat to wake up the taste buds. I had the Chili Colorado, rice and charro beans. All tasted excellent. My wife tried the Mexican egg rolls and loved them. I highly recommend Marisol s and if you live in Liberty Hill make the 20 minute drive for better quality offerings over the local place.

First time here and I definitely will return! Starting with the salsa they give you mild and warm, tried both and stayed with the mild.. ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and they were delicious! The mole sauce was delicious, and of course rice and beans. You have the option of 2 enchiladas or 3, I chose 2. We were the first customers of the day @ 11:30, and it filled up quickly. First time there with friends. Wanted us to try one of their favorite places to eat. Food was very good and the lunch prices are very fair. Will definitely return. The only thing I saw that is over priced, compared to other Mexican Food places we eat, is the Margarita prices. Most places are $6.95 for a small. I will not pay over that because the food is a much better deal for the money. Domestic beer below $5 is very fair.

Great Mexican place in Georgetown. Chips and table salsa are both good. Good thickness on the chips to hold up to dipping. Salsa flavorful and the texture I like. Started with the Classic Chile con Queso and the Bean and Cheese nachos. They used the same chips which worked great holding all the toppings. Having guac, sour cream and jalapeños was a nice addition. Entrees were Street Tacos from the appetizer menu and Enchiladas Deluxe. Street tacos were flavorful with a good mix of cilantro and a wonderful creamy green sauce. Enchiladas were very good with a great base sauce. Beans and rice were well done as well. Overall a great meal. Good service from both our server and the rest of the crew. Will definitely be adding this our list for dining in Georgetown.

Great food every time we go. They upgraded the interior which makes for a a personalized atmosphere. Our server was fantastic and attentive. They don t have a bartender anymore, they make premades for their drinks now. We all ordered drinks, our margaritas tasted like sweet juice, the sangria tasted like orange juice. When the manager asked how everything was we let him know our drinks were light. Instead fixing it he argued and corrected me saying he makes the premade and there is definitely alcohol in the margaritas. I responded with Look I m just a paying customer who wants the same quality of drink I ve ordered here many times before. We ve dined here many times and never had issues with the margaritas tasting like juice or receiving a premade mix. We used to watch a bartender make our drinks. Love the food but I ll be going to Dos Salsa s in the future. My drinks are always consistent there, along with service and food.

We walked in as a family of 4 with 2 hungry kids and 2 excited adults to have our 1st Mexican food experience in Texas. The hostess told us to wait. A couple came in and she immediately sat them. We waited 5 minutes more and asked if we could sit in 1 of the open tables and were told they had to be cleaned. We said we didnt care and just wanted to sit down and look at the menu. There was not anybody else coming ln so we couldnt figure out why the hostess was not cleaning the table or helping us. We watched the people who walked in behind us get served their drinks so we left because there was not a care in the world for our family. Gosh, this might actually be the best Mexican food in town! It took forever to be sat even though there were multiple open tables. (The hostess was pleasant, though.) My husband only drank water and never got asked to get a refill. The mild salsa tasted like pasta sauce, and the spicy salsa tasted like slightly spicier pasta sauce. Our food all took forever and came out cold. All or our food lacked flavor. This is a hidden gem of a really nice Mexican restaurant. Marisols, tucked away in a small strip mall, is easily missed as one drives by. Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the interior was. It is nicely decorated, very clean, and the tables are nicely spaced so one doesnt feel overly crowded as some of the local eateries makes one feel. The menu choices are very plentiful, covering just about any Mexican food item one might want. I recently enjoyed the #1 Lunch Combo (one taco/enchilada with rice/beans) and it was perfect. The first photo is the tamale/enchilada/taco combo plate. I love the genuine cheddar cheese they use. A lot of these type places use the cheaper velveeta. The second photo is the Chili Relleno plate that my wife ordered. She loved it. During a subsequent visit my wife had the Taco Salad with chicken that she enjoyed, and I had the Enchilada Nortena plate which was great. The Guacamole was prepared correctly and was tasty. I might add that the food temperature was hot and the serving plate was super hot. There should be no complaints about food temperature with this restaurant. The service was efficient and the server was friendly with a smile. Prices are reasonable. I would have no reason to go to any other Mexican restaurant in the area, and yes I have tried and been disappointed in the local competition.

Food is good and prices are decent, however, payment options are irritating. The bill lists a cash option and a credit card option (3.5% more). When I asked if I could pay by debit card I was told that I still would pay the additional fee WTF! If I go back, I m taking a bag of loose coins for payment, we ll see how they like that.

This is the best Mexican food I ve had in a long time (and I m from San Antonio) ! The chips, salsas and queso are sooo good. You HAVE to get the breakfast burrito as well. Their papas are so crispy and the food is just amazing overall. If you are in town check out this place and you will not regret it !!

Amazing restaurant that has some vegetarian options. I had the veggie fajita and it was delicious. Wish they gave a little bit more sour cream and guacamole though and wish it were in separate containers. Their rice and black beans weren t vegetarian which most restaurants have so I was pretty bumped about that. But food was really good. Definitely recommend this place for dinner.

We are here for lunch about 2 months after they opened. The food was great and the service was very good. I think it is family owned and they really took care of us. They have both Mexican authentic and Tex-Mex dishes on the menu. It was a great experience.
