Asked for no pico and pico was on everything. Waitress said they could not make my dish without pico. Asked for sour cream, never got it. Restaurant was clean but looked like an old converted fast food restaurant. No towels in the restroom. Price was reasonable. Jalapeño was in everything if you like that.

I hate to post this but y all failed today. Don t: 1) open 10 minutes late then 2) leave sticky tables then 3) lie to me and tell me the chips will be ready ten minutes , bring my meal, then 15 minutes later I ask about the chips and tell me they didn t arrive today. 4) Be rude and unfriendly on top of it all. I ve always liked this place but if this is the new El Charrito, good luck.

Strong stinch as you enter the restaurant which should have deterred me but I decided to stay much to my regret. Started with a batch of chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and decent flavor but the chips had no salt and seemed store bought however the waitress indicated they were made in-house. Taco platter with Spanish rice and refried beans arrived and looked appealing... But.... Looks can be deceiving though. It seemed that every effort was made to make the dish as flavorless as possible. The beef slop in the taco was bland and soupy. The taco shell was some form of cheap fried corn tortilla. Thankfully the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The salsa on the taco at least gave some flavor. The beans missed any aspect of refried. No garlic, salt or any other seasoning. And the Spanish rice was a sad state of overcooked rice with some sort of red coloring that did little to add any flavor. Even at the lunch special of $8.99 the plate was overpriced for the taste.

Ive ordered lots of bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burritos from this place in the past month. Unfortunately, they are not paying attention to their prep & I received a massive chunk of fat in my burrito. I did stop by the next day and I showed this picture as well as discuss my concerns. The guy scoffed at me and acted offended that I didnt appreciate the extra bacon they gave me! I guess they do not understand that breakfast burritos are supposed to be portable and without choking hazards. FYI be careful with their potatoes bc they are roughly the same size as that chunk of fat.

First time trying and i bought 3 potato, bacon, egg, and cheese tacos and chips and salsa. I paid $14 and some change. I get home and open my tacos and see i paid so much for literally just egg and potatoes and crumbles of bacon (if that) and cheese. Why charge me extra for things if you aren t going to add them in, and if you do, they re broken down pieces. The smell of the tacos didn t sit right with me either. The salsa also has little to no flavor at all. Really disappointed. Wasted the drive and the money.

This has been a Gtown restaurant staple for many years. Went to get breakfast tacos at 9:00 AM at the take out window. Ordered two bean, egg, & potato tacos. The order took 20+ minutes. Instead of B, E, P tacos, I got bean, egg, & bacon. Not fatal. Eating the first taco, I literally crunched egg shells all the way through. I requested extra salsa which werent in the bag. Additionally, they were out of barbacoa. Ive been to this place quite a number of times over the years, but this was a VERY disappointing experience. I dont always make it a point to write reviews unless my experience is really bad or really good. This was really bad. Perhaps an off day, but wont likely be going back. Parking: No comment

This is a hole in the wall Mexican place that we ate at several times while in trial at the Williamson County Courthouse. The food was great the first day, cold the second day and great the last day. They didn t let us dine inside on Tuesday so we went else where. The salsa was hot but had a slight effervescence that was off putting so I didn t eat it. The fajitas were pretty good the first day and the enchiladas were cool and bland the second day.

Came here for breakfast tacos while visiting friends in Georgetown. It was a Sunday and they only have to-go food as the dining area is closed on Sundays. Theres a walk-up window on the side to place your order. Ordered many different tacos to get a taste of everything. Ordered the Machacado, Chile Colorado, Chile Verde, Barbacoa, Chorizo & Potato, Bean & Cheese with Bacon, Bacon & Egg. There were a few people in line, but tacos were ready in about 15 minutes. You can sit at the tables outside, but took the tacos home to eat. All the tacos were generously stuff in the fresh tortillas. They were all good, but I specifically enjoyed the Chile Colorado and Chile Verde as theyre not served everywhere. The red salsa in the bag was very mild, not sure if they had a green salsa or anything hotter. Overall good place to grab some breakfast tacos, but didnt get to try anything else on the menu.

The taco shells were stale, meaning I essentially ate a taco salad after the first bite destroyed any semblance of a taco. Staff was mostly friendly, but seemed to be irritated that we wanted to sit outside, which I guess I understand since it was on the hotter side. With a vast selection of great Mexican restaurants in the area, Im not sure Id be too inclined to come back based on my experience here.

I have been coming here since 1999. When I was on high school o would come here for lunch. Now I still come back to get their breakfast tacos and share the joy of Charrito with my family.

The owner was on vacation and left only one waitress to service the entire restaurant which was extremely busy. While the young lady did all that she could (seating guests, taking orders, delivering food, bussing tables and running the cash register) it took us more than 45 minutes to get our food. Totally unprofessional for this young lady as the only one to service an entire restaurant.

Service was on point. The food was hot and prepared quickly. Arrived before close and they were happy to serve. It s got a cafe feel with a wide range of Mexican food choices! Check it out, especially when El Monumento is packed!

Good, basic Tex Mex. Very reasonable prices. A little greasy. Zero ambience, which is kind of fun-no pretense.

We have been eating here for more than 30 years. We love to get the chicken enchiladas suizas. The breakfast tacos are awesome and one of my favorites is carne guisada. We have never been disappointed with any of the menu items.
