Feels like authentic Italian! Everyone was super nice there! Food was good. Kid-friendliness: The kids loved that they could draw all over the table! Their pizzas were also huge(like adult portions) so made for them to even have dinner also later! Food : 4/5 |

My husband and I went for his birthday. We had a wonderful time and will go back! Heres the good and the not as good (there was no bad): The environment is very nice -- cozy, a bit romantic -- except that as it got dark outside, we realized the interior lights are pretty bright. I would prefer they dim them a bit. The service was OUTSTANDING! I had made a reservation and told them we were celebrating my hubbys birthday. They had intended to put us in a beautiful booth, but the previous party hadnt left yet. So they sat us at a small table, but then moved us to another booth as soon as one opened up. Our server was Jodi. She was, well, OUTSTANDING! She told us her favorites on the menu and also pointed out what she though wasnt worth ordering. She was very attentive, friendly, and professional. Just a wonderful server! Food: Our calamari appetizer was fine, but nothing special; we were disappointed (but we had set a high bar). The texture was actually great, which can be hard to do. The breading was light, which is nice, but just not very flavorful. Also, it was only rings, no tentacles, which we both really enjoy. Similarly, our Ceasar salads were good but not great. The dressing was a bit thin, and lacking the tanginess it should have. I would add lemon and a bit more anchovy. But the MEALS --- WOW! The hubby had spaghetti bolognese, which every Italian restaurant does, so its hard to find one that youll really remember. This one was just excellent! He got a side of Italian sausage, which was also very good -- and, being half Italian, hes very picky. I followed one of Jodis recommendations and got the Porto Italiano pasta with Italian sausage added. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! We ordered deserts to go, and still havent eaten them, so I have no report on that. Finally, they have a nice wine list. We started with prossecco (because BIRTHDAY!), then had the Costello de Querceto Classico Chianti with our meal. Both were perfect!

The food is absolutely delicious, but the service has a lot of room for improvement. This is the third time I ve experienced poor service, and I won t be coming back. This time, I was seated at the very last table, and the server never looked our way. It took forever just to get a menu, which she dropped off without returning. I even had to walk up to her to place an order. They really need to hire more professional staff because the food is great, but the service is ruining the experience

Poor customer service. Picked up an order and the girl working at the front told me twice the order I was picking up didn t exist. After asking again, she went back and found it, BUT not after giving me half the order. When I called in to report it, the restaurant manager offered no support or solution except come all the way back to the store and pick it up. When I asked for an owner or district manager, I was told they had an owner, but probably wouldn t be in, and the only people to speak to were the managers on duty at the time I called. Won t pick up or eat from here ever again. So sad these are the same people who will turn right around and thank you for business, but have not a care in the world about equitable and fair customer service and solutions when they re at fault. Trash.

My baseline, I come from the NJ/NY area, I haven t been able to find a restaurant that can compete with the most average restaurant in the northeast. With that said, Tony And Luigis had a great atmosphere, topped by Ken Kruse s vocals at the rhythm of Frank Sinatra. Service was OK, had a young server, somewhat distracted, especially with the dirty styrofoam cups (not the best choice of material for kids). But the food was my biggest problem, the pasta was OK, the sauce didn t seem fresh or made in the kitchen, but my wife s Pancetta in her pasta carbonara, or my prosciutto on my tortellini alla verde, had a very similar taste, and it was overpowering. I may try it once more if invited to go with friends, but not my first choice. For full transparency, I made an editorial error and had the name of the restaurant wrong. PS: To the restaurant, thanks for your response, I will give you guys another try again, and thanks for catching my mistake on the name

I got the calamari, wasnt much flavor to them but they were nice and crispy. My main course was the lobster ravioli. Many places are just cheese ravioli with lobster tossed in, these were actual lobster raviolis which was nice. Sauce did have a pronounced acid twang to it. I got chocolate cake for dessert which was tasty. Nice and rich, and moist. Too many cake desserts at restaurants are dry. Waiter was good. Pleasant place to eat. Would go to again and try another set of dishes.

I have only been here twice, but both times were a fantastic experience. We had a reservation and were sat immediately. Our server for this visit was Anna and she was absolutely fantastic. Our table had dietary restrictions and food modifications and she did everything she could to accommodate our requests even though the restaurant was getting busy. She was attentive, polite, and made the experience very positive. We love coming here for the gluten free options and the veal parm. Dietary restrictions: They have many gluten free options and can make modifications upon request when they aren t busy.

Started off with the hostes being rude to my disabled husband. Then very loud group made it hard to talk. And then the food was more bland than normal. The waitress was good and polite that was the only good thing about the evening. We usually come here every birthday and anniversary but thinking we will be going somewhere else.

We are from Dallas and needed food for 15 people for a get-together in Georgetown. It was a request for catering just about 24 hours before we needed it. The restaurant manager was so gracious in accepting our request. We got a large lasagna and a large Caesar salad based on the catering recommendations. The food was ready on time and was absolutely delicious! We even brought a little leftover lasagna back to Dallas so we could enjoy it again! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had reservation, Plenty of empty tables. Sandwiched between (less than 2 each way) of a service station and another couple. Great food. After we received food, an onslaught of servers came over to elfa shelf station for to-go trays - one put hand on our table for balance - several apologized because it became a real joke. Patron next to me moved over with spouse against wall because we were all so close. Experience lacking.

Let me just say Tony & Luigi s is AMAZING! We are from DFW and we came down to Georgetown to visit some friends. We were not expecting Tony and Luigi s to be this good. All of the food tasted fresh and homemade. Plus, the staff were super nice and helpful. The one and only note I would say is my Fiancee and I were not a fan of the Cheesecake or Cannoli. However, the Bruschetta was so delicious and so were our main courses. If you are near Georgetown, Tony and Luigi s is a MUST!

Our familys Tony and Luigis experience was phenomenal. We started off with the complimentary house rolls, followed by a bruschetta appetizer, which tasted amazing along with a bottle of Cabernet. We had three salads before our main dishes (Chicken Carbonara, Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna). All highly recommended and excellent service by a waiter named James. We will be returning soon.

The menu s description is deceiving, the real outcome doesn t match the description, over cooked, dry, not harmony in the mix of ingredients. I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The server, Coby, provided excellent service very honest and attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful, with a lively and talkative crowd that made the evening enjoyable. However, I was disappointed with the food. It tasted like canned soup, which wasn t to my liking. When I brought this up to Coby, I was informed that the dish couldn t be removed from the bill and that ordering something else would have doubled my cost. While I understand their policy, I wish they could have made an exception. Despite the food, the service, atmosphere, and overall energy of the place were wonderful

Our original dinner plans fell through, so we opted to dine at Tony and Luigi s instead. Despite our attire of workout clothes, we were greeted warmly by our server, Ana. She took great care of us throughout the meal. Ana was attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full, our plates were cleared, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and everything tasted good. The kitchen was efficient in getting our food out quickly, which was much appreciated as we were quite hungry. Overall, Tony and Luigi s is a charming spot for a date night with loved ones. We would definitely return and highly recommend requesting Ana as your server. She was perfect.

Absolutely not. Please save your time and money. The atmosphere was good but everything else was a steady downhill from there. First it took 15 mins for a waiter to show up after we were seated. The restaurant was not crowded, hardly 7 tables filled. Then the waitress shows up to take our order. Before even she could ask what we want to eat or drink or just hi.. she goes on to say we should get reservations next time as they have regulars showing up and they get busy I look around as she says this and still half the restaurant is empty. Finally takes our order. My tiny cup of tomato bisque shows up another 15 minutes later. Salty as the Mediterranean Sea. Why so much salt , no one knows my husband had to ask for complementary bread rolls at the point because we were in the restaurant for 40 mins at this point with zero food served. The bread shows up with again with way salty butter even for a salted butter. Then another 20 mins for two plates of pasta. Final I get my gnocchi with pesto. You guessed it salty again with added bonus of uncooked pasta dough. I mean to screw up gnocchi is pretty basic. I could taste the flour and they stuck to teeth and gums as I was chewing it. Extremely hard glue of dough to push down. I landed up not eating more than half the portion served. We asked the waitress for check which too like 2 seconds to show up. Didn t know you could get service that fast here before. Bill was for $87 for two people who ate pasta and had one drink each. So if you are going to lecture me on reservation please have the goods to back it up. All you have now is way under cooked and salty food and zero customer service.

Tony and Luigi s is a good Italian restaurant with a mix of classic Italian dishes, as well as make your own options. The menu is huge, so there are many choices and options. We ordered a make your own chicken Parmesan, which was pretty good, although we weren t a fan of the spicy marinara. However, the creamy pesto sauce was delicious and I recommend this one. The fig martini was really cool too and I liked seeing an uncommon, specialty cocktail on the menu. Kudos for this! The place is nice and clean and has a pretty good layout, although some seating can be a little snug. The staff was friendly and our server Charlie was fantastic. This place is kid friendly and they have good options on the kids menu. While I thought the place was good, the rest of my family thought it was great. This was our first time to try Tony and Luigis - well certainly be back at the next opportunity. The salmon with pasta was creamy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My wife had the spicy chicken pasta and she gives it 5-star rating. Weve both been across Italy and would say that theyve recreated the old country here in America very well! Grazie! Dietary restrictions: My wife has Celiac and these guys not only have a tremendous selection of gluten-free, like much of Italy, it is very common to find most of their pastas made gluten-free. Extremely knowledgeable and safe for actual Celiac sufferers.

I got the chicken carbonara and it was delicious.I had to add a little salt and pepper but the sauce was a good consistency and they definitely give you enough meat in the dish which I liked. The server was very kind and attentive. We also got the cream cake dessert which was very tasty and fresh. Will definitely be back as I really enjoyed my dinner and my guests did too!

My partner and I finally checked off a long-standing bucket list item by visiting this restaurant on a leisurely Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, there was no wait, and we were promptly seated by a courteous server. Our server exuded professionalism, ensuring our orders were taken swiftly and our dishes arrived promptly. I opted for the Penne Alla Vodka, while my partner indulged in the Tuscan Butter Chicken. Let me just say, the moment our plates arrived, we were blown away. The presentation was impeccable, and the aroma alone was tantalizing. The portion sizes were generous, and each bite was a testament to the freshness of the ingredients. To complement our meal, we sampled some of their cocktail offerings, which did not disappoint - they were both delicious and expertly crafted. And of course, we couldnt resist trying the tiramisu for dessert, which was an absolute delight. Whats even better is that the total bill for such an incredible dining experience was a mere $60-70, which we found to be quite reasonable given the quality of the food and service. I urge anyone reading this review to give this restaurant a try and support local establishments. Trust me, you wont regret it!

We did not have a reservation and were asked if we wanted to sit in the patio area. Which is not a problem and it was a nice night. They sat the two of us at a two top, which is also not a bad thing. But the table was a horrible table, I could not fit both of my lag in front of me and each time the door opened my wife felt like she was about to get hit. This is a good place, just avoid the two tops in the patio. Eventually the server noticed and asked us to move to a different table. Ok, so now that, thats out of the way. This is possibly one of the better Italian food restaurants we have been to in the Austin metro area. I highly recommend it to anyone, it is worth the drive if you are not nearby. We started with some ridiculous good rolls with a cream cheese dill and then calamari, had a caprese salad, gnocchi and Luigi winter pizza. After that we enjoyed dessert and an espresso. It was a great dinner all and all and the staff was super helpful and nice.

We ordered from Tony and Luigi s for delivery a while ago. The food was so good that we had to go in person. Tonight my wife and I went in person, she had the Luigi s spicy chicken pasta and I had the chicken Marsala. Before we devoured our main dishes we were presented with delicious fresh dinner rolls and they were to die for! Side salads, both Caesar and garden with Italian dressing was very good. The main dishes compared to delivery tasted so fresh and delicious! We were full but we had to try their tiramisu. Oh my lord on top of all this wonderful service and atmosphere! 100% satisfied and will go back again for sure!

So I waited tables 33 years at Red Lobster and I came in your restaurant today with my husband and I ordered an appetizer, meatballs , and I asked the server for some Parmesan cheese maybe some olive oil I dont think she heard me but we also ordered calamari and my husband had eaten the whole order of calamari and meatballs and I had one little meatball sitting on a plate waiting for her to come back with that Parmesan cheese and when she finally came back it was cold and I asked her for the Parmesan cheese and olive oil and then she asked me if I wanted this sauce thing that comes with the bread or something you can get olive oil and Parmesan cheese in it I guess its kind of like a pesto and she brought it back and my meatballs were cold by then but it definitely improved the meatball and I still wasnt quite ready to order because of menus huge and I just couldnt decide and I had my menu looking at it in my hands so obviously Im not ready to order right? And she had asked me several times if I was ready and then I felt completely pressured so I just ordered these crabcakes they were not good and I thought well if I had some kind of extra sauce on them maybe they would be decent and I kept waiting for her to come back to the table and check on us but she never did And my husband was nearly through with all of his food and this was like 15 minutes later and she finally came back by and I told her I asked her if I could have some sauce like ranch or something and a to go box for the little bit of food my husband had left And she brought it out And we got our check and she had charged us for the sauce for my crabcake that I waited on for ever and ever for her to bring to the table will actually to check back with us to see how we were doing and I wouldnt mind if she had charged me for it except for I had to wait forever for her to come to the table just to check on us both times for the appetizer and for my crabcakes which were my so-called meal that I felt like I was pressured in to ordering and she wouldve gotten an even bigger tip if I had actually got to order a meal but I just went ahead and ordered whatever and of course it wasnt good and I know that it was only $.50 extra for each of the sauces she charged me extra for, it was just the point of having to wait and wait to get something that would actually make my food taste better. so I didnt have a very good experience my husbands food was pretty good though .

Our little group was going for our monthly luncheon on the 2nd Wednesday. It happened to be Valentines Day. We were not informed when we made the reservation that we couldnt order from the usual lunch menu. Disappointing. The restaurant is so loud it is hard to carry on a conversation. They need more ceiling baffling. The food was pretty pricey that day for us

If you haven t tried Tony and Luigi s, you re missing out! This is a family-owned, neighborhood gem serving great Italian food and wine for all palates. I ve been there many times and the food is consistently delicious. I especially love the pizzas and stuffed mushrooms, though the lamb shank and chicken parm are crave-worthy, too. The servers are friendly and efficient, and the newly renovated decore is comfortable, inviting, and unlike many other restaurants, this one is not too noisy! I ve introduced several friends to T&L and each has returned there several times. I think T&L is Georgetown s best kept secret.

Longer than average wait to order. Food was later dropped off and that was it. No follow up to see if everything was OK with the order, refill drink, or ask if I needed anything else. After a longer wait, I had to flag down someone to ask for the check so I could leave. I d have been better off ordering take-out since literally no service was provided.

Fantastic. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Rollatini and Chicken Parm. All were spot on. I personally had the chicken rollatini. It came with 2 generous sides. (Wilted spinach and rosemary roasted potatoes). Scrumptious from first bite to the last. Service was friendly and attentive. Our waitress also made the cocktail. Some kind of lemon drop. Perfectly crafted. Highly recommend this place. These people take pride in what they do and it shows. Will definitely be returning. Mille grazi for a truly special dining experience. *Follow up visit. We went back today to celebrate a birthday. Try the Chicken Madrid! Wow. Becky took great care of us, once again. She makes fabulous cocktails and just makes you glad you came in. Thanks for the birthday cannoli.

This was a cool little place with a neat guitarist playing on a Tuesday night. Our waitress gave us really good recommendations for entrees and we were all really pleased with our food. Our service was slow, but everyone else seemed to move at a decent pace so I think it must have been something specific to do with my table. I highly recommend the Mahi Mahi dish in lemon butter sauce.

I recently moved to the area and enjoy Italian cuisine. I made 6:00 reservation for a Thursday more than a week in advance and requested a booth due to sciatic nerve condition. Upon being seated I was told there were no booths available, but there were two open/ available. When I asked about the two open booths I was told they were for later reservations. I told the lady seating us that I specifically requested a booth when I made the reservation; she replied there are no guarantees with the reservation. I have never in my life heard such from a restaurant. I will not return to the restaurant because they failed to provide simple customer care requested well in advance. The food was above average and our server provided pretty respectable service. Parking: Very small parking lot maybe 10 cars

My friend and I tried the seafood pasta and the spicy chicken pasta. Could not decide which I liked best. Great sauce and perfectly cooked seafood versus a touch of heat and a phenomenal sauce on the chicken pasta. A busy Saturday night, but the very high ceilings kept the noise level quite reasonable.
