Ron has done both senior photos and family photos for my family over the years. He has also done excellent headshots for my business. He brings humor and a great deal of thought around the time of day, lighting, places for photos and connects well with children, teens and adults. He knows where the best spots are for photos around the Georgetown Square and is great at bringing out the personality of the person hes photographing. Ron Parks was photographer at ROCK on Saturday, April 1st. It was their annual Barn Dance and 800 guests, friends and donors all took part in this event. Ron managed to be everywhere, all the time and took amazing photos and videos all through the evening and night. We, the Sun City Cloggers, were part of the entertainment. Let s start with how tough it is to find a good photographer to take your pictures, and having them price gouge you is frustrating to say the least. I don t want outrageously expensive pictures but I also don t want cheap photos. Ron s plan was cost effective. He really earned my trust during the shoot when I asked for a rather specific shot, and almost naturally his expertise was a positive thing when it came to this particular picture. Giving me insight on working the lighting when I hadn t even given it thought. Looking back on my photos it is my favorite one. I am so glad that I went with Ron.

I booked an appointment with Ron Parks Photography because I needed a professional photo for the cover of my upcoming book. I dont enjoy having my picture taken and was not looking forward to what I considered an ordeal, but I dont think I could have been more pleasantly surprised at how stress-free and fluid Ron made the entire process. He is so relaxed and confident that I was immediately at ease. It took much less time than I imagined which was a bonus to the outstanding job that he did. Ron was so professional and patient. When youre the bride and the wedding planner, the big day can be very hectic. I decided to do a themed wedding, comic book theme, and he was more than up to the task. On top of that, I didnt feel like his prices were unreasonable. He surely beat out the competition. Not only did he get some great pictures but, he was timely. My wedding was running two hours behind because my makeup artist was two hours late. I feared he wouldnt be able to get any good pics of me and the bridesmaids because we werent dressed or ready. I got my photos back and was pleasantly surprised. He was everywhere at once. I wasnt slighted at all. He even helped my husband and I get a videographer the day of and for a reasonable price! I would recommend him for any occasion. Ron did a family photoshoot for us with a 6 month old and a pup. He did so great, was unbelievably flexible, and kind. He completely understood the unpredictability of an infant nap schedule and let us postpone by 30mins so our little one could squeeze in a cat nap. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I dont think even a thousand words would be an adequate amount to describe Ron Parks photography work. His passion for his art shows through with his friendliness and professionalism. I went in expecting regular, run of the mill headshots, but he surpassed my expectations ten fold. As we walked around the beautiful, historic downtown Georgetown, he let his imagination soar as he experimented and discovered unique back drops and poses. Theres not one dull picture. All exude vibrancy and elegance as we progressed through all my outfit choices. He made sure to include my own imaginative images as he included shots of me with coffee, my own writing inspiration. As a mystery/thriller author, he made sure to snap some shots of me expressing those emotions as well. If you want beautiful, quality images, I would definitely recommend you give Ron Parks a call. You wont regret it.

I hired Ron to shoot some business casual shots as well as for social media, dating, etc. Im about as unphotogenic as they come but Ron was able to produce some great photos of me. Based on my personal experience, I would advise not booking this photographer. The salon where I bought my dress offered a free bridal portrait session with him, and although I already had a photographer, I wasnt going to do bridals because we didnt have the budget. Free is always a good word when youre planning a wedding, so I thought Id give him a call to see what the session was all about and what was really free. My phone conversation with him was less than pleasant and somewhat creepy. I asked a normal question like Do most brides wear their hair up or down? and he answered by basically saying some brides arent pretty enough for a certain hairstyle, but that hed seen my picture attached to my gmail account and I could probably wear my hair either way. He also proceeded to tell me he could help me in and out of my dress on the day of the photo shoot if I didnt have someone to help, and how he did that for brides all the time. Um, no thank you for offering to see me or help me get undressed. He sounded very arrogant and didnt make me feel comfortable at all, but I thought maybe I was overreacting, so I scheduled a session with him. His comments still nagged me so I did some Googling and Yelping, and I wasnt the only one to feel this way about him. I read reviews about how he had an assistant (granted, she may have been fired by this time) who would steal from the bridal suite, how he would take inappropriate pictures of the bride and/or her bridesmaids, how hed hit on the bride and/or bridesmaids, how he didnt really have an established physical location of his business (something about not paying the rent or something), and how he would take AGES getting pictures back to clients. Overall, they were not happy with him. Based on those reviews, and my own gut feeling after my phone interaction with him, I cancelled my photo session. Glad I did. (NOTE: These are other reviews I read from other clients of his. I cant say if they were true accusations or not, and did not experience anything more than a phone call with him.) I was going to leave it alone, but he keeps sending me emails to rate him on Google, despite the fact that I never had a shoot with him. So, Im rating him based off my experience and the previous reviews I read. Maybe other clients were satisfied with him, but IMO, find someone else with a good reputation, who is highly recommended and has great reviews.

My boyfriend scheduled a shoot with Ron for my birthday. It was a complete surprise for Ron to walk up with his camera- ready to shoot. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was funny and a little quirky, which made for a very enjoyable photo shoot. I would recommend his services.

Ron met us at San Gabriel Park- the perfect place for a family photo shoot due to the play equipment and lush green background. Capturing our familys natural interactions was at the top of his list. Rons experience allowed him to get the best shots with just a few clicks, and no strained faces. He was patient, intuitive, and wonderful with our kids. He even stayed after our session to play a game of HORSE with our teenage son. I would highly recommend Ron for family photos, senior photos, and maternity photos. I will definitely use Ron again the next time we need a photographer.

I had always dreamed of having Ron Parks capture the moments of my wedding and my wish finally came true! Ron Parks made myself, my shy husband and our families feel so incredibly comfortable on our wedding day as well as during our engagement photos and bridal portraits. There were TOO MANY amazing pictures to choose from that we ran out of wall space to print them all. Our wedding photo book was bursting with beautiful pictures, Ron captured so many moments that I will cherish forever. This was the biggest disappointment of my daughters wedding day. We had a paid-in-full contract with Ron Parks, and Ron Parks promised that he would be the one to do the shoot. Ron Parks did NOT show up at all. The photographer that Ron Parks sent for this shoot finally showed up one hour late. This was after we called looking for Ron, discovered that Ron was not coming, and discovered that the photographer representing Ron was at the wrong location. We had to delay the ceremony while we waited, and all pre-ceremony shots were missed. This photographer was no where close to the same caliber as Ron Parks, and was an embarrassment to all in attendance. This photographer had absolutely no clue what we wanted, because all of our conversations had been with Ron. I would never have hired Ron Parks if I knew Ron was not going to do the shoot. The lack of professionalism displayed by Ron Parks was unbelievable, and I will not refer Ron Parks Photography to anyone.

Capturing the important moments on your wedding day is critical for any bride. Choosing a photographer that could do this for me was a hard decision. It was one aspect of my wedding that I did not want to skimp on, and having heard good reviews for Ron Parks Photography , my fiancee and I decided to go with him. However, we now regret this decision owing to several extremely unprofessional actions on his part. Having arrived over one hour late, Mr. Parks created a rushed and tense atmosphere, being rude to the family and guests and making people feel both uncomfortable and on edge. The last thing one want to happen is to have someone snapping at your mother on one of the most important days of your life, and hers too. Sad to say, there were no photographs captured of those poignant moments shared with my husband and myself, or of important family members, some of whom had traveled great distances to attend. Unfortunately, Ron Parks hired someone he had known for only two weeks to be both videographer and assistant. Not only had she no video experience, she had a long history of theft in Travis County and went on to steal one of my bridesmaid s purses. Not only did it take a long time to get our wedding photos, but Ron Parks would not return our messages or e-mails for a lengthy amount of time. Having been promised our wedding photos within two weeks of the event, we had to wait for almost a month. Mr. Parks litany of excuses for the extremely unprofessional photographs left us in shock and with heavy hearts. Fortunately, and thankfully, my father took some really beautiful and memorable photographs, as did my bridesmaids. Mr. Parks did agreed to a refund, claiming he had been having a very difficult time. In such a case, that is not the time one would dispatch to photograph a couple s most memorable day, and therefore, I would not recommend Ron Parks as a photographer owing to the fact that he exhibits totally unprofessional behavior.

My sister and I are remarkably impressed with Ron Parks and his team. Stacey hired him to shoot her wedding last October, and the pictures are just amazing. Ron was friendly and fun, and captured her radiating joy like Ive never seen before. I must admit, I was a little jealous when she showed me the wedding photos! Me and my fiance hope to hire him for our wedding this Summer. I wont settle for any other photographer. Ron Parks rocks!

With everything a bride has to do, she sometimes forgets that picking a wedding photographer if one the most important decisions she will make. As a former venue manager, I know this to be true. Ron Parks and his team know how to get the shots you will want to look at for years to come. He has an eye for poses, lighting and a vision that others do not possess. Yes. He is fun and easygoing, not to mention great pricing, but remember why you are hiring a photographer. This will be all you have left after your big day is done. I LOVE Ron. There is nothing creepy about him so i dont know what Daniel Malik is talking about. He did my wedding pictures which came out AMAZING and my babys newborn pictures which turned out BEAUTIFUL. I have referred him to so many of my friends and family and have plans on taking pictures with him soon. If you want to have pictures that capture your special moments forever, then Ron is the guy you want!

I love Ron and his team, they are super fun and make you feel really comfortable. He always provides his full attention. Ive had 4 photo shoots with him and each time the photos come out better than the last. He really has an eye for what looks good, no matter what destination you are at. If you are in the Austin area, he is the perfect place to get youre photos done by. Also, the photos are delivered to you within a matter of a week!

The guy was extremely creepy. He seemed to enjoy following the young girls around the event. He also promised delivery of the pictures within 3 weeks. 5 weeks later we are still waiting, while events that happened after ours are being posted. Avoid this man.
