Ive been to this restaurant multiple times. The last time I went was about a month ago. The service has always been great. The waitresses are always friendly and check in on you frequently to make sure you dont need anything else. Their fajitas and tacos, whether you get steak or chicken, are delicious, and so are the rice and beans. The portions are pretty satisfying, and the prices are reasonable. This is definitely one of my favorites.

I sent to buy a fried tilapia and it was too toasted, without any salt!! I asked them for avocado instead of fried potatoes and they sent me French fries full of oil. The rice is horribly paresis. 3 days of cooking. I asked them for an extra aguate and what they gave me was just a horrible mess. The food they serve here is not true. I recommend them

We ordered a Fried Mojarra on Uber Eats: the beak was rotten and so was the lemon. A was toasted without salt and smelled bad. I asked for two horchatas and they only gave me one. When I called to see what they could do for me, the girl told me that maybe they could give me the other horchata BUT I had to spend money on UBER again. If I had wanted to go in person I wouldnt have ordered on Uber Eats in the first place. We ordered the Seafood Broth (7 mares) a week ago and everything was perfect, it was delicious although it says it comes with Jaiba and it kind of escaped because I couldnt find it. Still, I ordered it again and it tasted like spicy water and half a liter of oil. The shrimp they put in that soup is worse than the ones you find in maruchan soup. I ordered avocado instead of the potatoes and they gave me and two small pieces of avocados as thin strips of onion. Old, greasy, and burnt potatoes. We also ordered Fish Fillet and it was raw, bland and pale. The ONLY good thing about that order was the only horchata. I do not recommend. We spent 65 dollars just to be left hungry and hungry.

Went to the Garland location off of Buckingham Rd. I ordered the grilled shrimp nachos, they were delicious!! My son had the shrimp fajitas and he said they were delicious too ! My niece had the cheese enchiladas with the cheese sauce- she ate it all !! The Margaritas were great ! Our waitress was Ashley, she s awesome!

Went on a Saturday evening, no wait time. We had a family of 12 and was accommodated quickly. Service was great, always checked on. Food was great, only complaints was we found a hair in our torta. Everything else was fine. Would visit again just too far from us. Churros were amazing.

Veteran who served in the military 2 tours to Iraq. Love visiting restaurants and trying different foods. I usually visit the Del Rancho off of Kingsley. Love the quality of authentic Mexican food. My advise do not visit this location. I ordered a Caldo de Res. Question since when have they added broccoli and cauliflower to this dish. I was shocked!! The meat in this Caldo usually is tender and fall-off-the-bone style. Nope not this one. I literally could not eat the meat. I would have had to ask for a knife to eat the meat. I left a full plate. By the look of the waiters and the manager I caught them looking at me as if I was the only man left in the world. I was scared peps!!! Because I am a Christian and a veteran I did not mention anything and even payed for a plate that I could not eat. Y all this is a good restaurant, but do yourself and your hard earned money a favor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. They ve hired some goofball for a cook that thinks cauliflower and broccoli goes in this Mexican dish. Hope this helps.

In 45 minutes not 1 table was bussed on a slow Saturday at the lunch hour. Manager said all employees we on their lunch hour, made absolutely no sense. Only 6 customers and 4 wait staff, one manager and 4 employees in the kitchen. Noone took responsibility for bussing tables. Music too loud. Will be hard pressed to return.

The food was really delicious. Although I wanted to add at least 1 Taco to the plate I initially ordered. Most Mexican restaurants allow me to do that. Here, they didnt. The only option they gave me was to order another complete plate of 4 tacos. I dont have that kind of appetite. We went in as a large group, & one of my friends was one of the 1st to order & she got her food last. Most places give you a free dessert or something for their apologies. They didnt. She didnt even look that apologetic. She hardly smiled. Maybe we should have asked for the manager. Other than those 2 things, everything was pretty good.

We had a wonderful experience here as first timers. Delicious, affordable, and a fantastic atmosphere. The salsa comes out warm and also served with warm bean dip - YUMMM!!!!! The queso was delicious and hot and fresh (did not feel like it was reheated like some other places!). Hubby got the fajitas for one and it was a huge portion so he brought half of it home for lunch tomorrow. I munched on his fajita veggies and they were cooked to perfection. At the table we also had chicken enchiladas and chicken flautas - everything was amazing. Pretty basic rice and beans (which I personally love!) and the margaritas were great. Our server was a delight - I failed to get her name, but she was attentive, prompt, and answered any questions we had. There was live music that started a little before we left our Friday dinner and we were told they rotate between the live mariachi band and a DJ, and they do another show on Saturdays. So definitely a fun nighttime outing but if you re wanting a quieter meal, go early in weekends. We loved the band! We ve been looking for a new Mexican food restaurant and Del Rancho has definitely earned a spot in our regular rotation. The menu has a ton of variety, including several seafood dishes I m hoping to try at future visits. It was family friendly but also a good night time/happy hour vibe.

Spend over $ 50.00 for their Sombrero special! The food was good. However, Mothers day dinner was ruined going here.. the music was so loud, we couldnt even carry a conversation, (as I had been traveling the last 28 days). My granddaughters quesadilla was soaked greasy. Our waitress did a constant disappearing act...that we would have to flag her down like we were on a deserted island. She was slow at bringing the check, so we had to pay at take out area. I couldnt hear for about 20 minutes after we left, and today, we all have raging headaches. Went there for a birthday dinner, my first time here and it was overall a terrible experience. Starting with my beer, it had an off taste such as it had been chilled and then left out to go back to room temperature and then chilled again, it was gross. The margaritas were not good and too sweet. Then we ordered El Sombrero as an appetizer for the group and they didnt bring out enough plates for the table. Had two chip baskets for a group of about 12, really?? Oh and they were not salted, almost stale too. The waitress was bad at checking up on us and didnt come by as often as she should have. It took 45 minutes to place our order. Then our food took literally over an hour to start coming out and when it did make its way out it came out ONE PLATE AT A TIME. Be for real. The first people in our party to get their food, were already done eating before the rest of the table could be served. The waitress almost lacked any shame saying, Oh were about to close and were just bringing out your food. Two people ordered the Ceviche Tostada and the fish might as well have not been taken out of the ocean with how salty it was. Inedible. My fajita platter for two was not good and my girlfriend and I also did not eat our food. As far as their hand made tortillas they were still raw when given to the table, I couldnt fold my taco without the tortilla breaking due to it not being cook at the way. I tried giving the benefit of the doubt and was assuming they just opened and were still working out the kinks, but they have been open for years and it still feels like they dont know what they are doing. Overall terrible and horrible experience, would give zero stars if able to. If youre looking for a good Mexican restaurant try Menas Tex-Mex Grill. -Yours truly, Disappointed.

The best thing about this restaurant was their margaritas and our waitress. Food was not my favorite at all. The steak fajita meat has its own unique flavor and the beans and rice came out cold. There is a huge entertainment area off to the side that can do karaoke nights. That could be fun. Especially with margaritas in hand.

Have been twice. Both times for family birthday dinners. Food was good. Staff was very attentive and addressed our needs. Music was nice BUT WAY TOO LOUD! You cant carry a conversation because its way too loud. We asked for them to lower the volume but they didnt. So sit far from the stage. Nice family ambiance without paying an arm and leg. Parking: Many parking spots. Kid-friendliness: Bumper chairs available. No crayon activities but space is very roomy.

After leaving HIS house, our family looks for breakfast, specifically Mexican style breakfast. In North Dallas, it has been very hard to find quality food so we have 2 steady restaurants. Our family officially found a third place, thanks to a family friend and co-worker. When you arrive, the restaurant is located in a strip mall area with plenty of parking. When you enter, its a large hall area with small tables. if you have a large family like we do 5+, its hard to sit comfortably and food on the table. Dont sit on the right side as you enter, the tables seem dirty but its the varnish so avoid those if you have a thing with dirty tables. The servers were nice yet very slow customer service. The restrooms are located next to bar and very clean. Being our first time there, I had the menudo, little cashew has basic American breakfast. Get this, one boy had a corn dog meal and the other basic quesadillas. The mother of Cashew had breakfast tacos. The restaurant brings you chips, salsa and awesome refried black beans. These free appetizers had to keep us going due to the slow service. The menudo was spicy and had enough meat and hominy. The chorizo and egg breakfast tacos were good. The baby Rhino breakfast had Mexican style pancakes pretty good. The boys, well had their stuff but didnt finish it. Overall this place is two thumbs up and the price oh my, that meal woul have been over $70 with the queso fundido we ordered. Had the Pescado Taco plate...the tortillas were a soggy mess and the fish was very fishy, unseasoned. The fries that came with it were cold and the salsa tasted like a combo of marinara and habanero sauce. The menudo is also nothing to write home about, its made with the wrong type of chile and it looks black instead of red. To tell you that the only thing we liked here was the chips, salsa and black bean dip.

Had a late lunch. Missed the lunch break prices. Salsa was warm and spicy with chips and black bean dip. Ordered Tex Mex Enchiladas. One beef with chili con carne and Chicken with Sour Cream sauce. Very mixed reviews overall, heres my take. Went in during someones birthday party, so you know it was already going to be busy. But, they attended us fairly quickly. The food also came out faster than expected. The portions, bigger than expected. Theres nothing about it that makes it eccentric or separates it from other places akin to it. That being said one goes to these places to eat, have a good time and leave full, and thats how it went down. Mazel tov!

Three weeks ago I would have given 4 stars but last nights visit was a disaster. Waited 10 min to be seated. Once seated and ordered drinks were told the drink machine wasnt working. Ok no biggie ordered water. Then we ordered food and had to send back 3 times because it was wrong each time. Finally just didnt get a meal. The manager just kept telling us we were right but still didnt make it correctly. Then we get the bill and was discounted 50% on the other two meals, that was great, however, they charged for 3 margaritas and it should have only been 2. To say the least, we were very disappointed.

We ordered takeout on Thursday night. It was ready in about ten to fifteen minutes. It smelled so good,couldnt wait to get home! It tasted as good as it smelled. We had the chicken poblano a la Padilla, enchiladas Huastecas and Camarones Ranchero. Very generous portions and very flavorful.
